After what they saw both Nate and Faith were sure if they kept going like before they would encounter something like the bear before and they wouldn’t be as lucky, so they decided it would be better for them to be careful while they walking.

After walking for some time there were a lot of questions that Faith wanted to ask but didn’t know when she can have the chance to ask them, so just waited when they rest then she would ask.

Nate started to get tired and from the look of it they are not even close to exit the forest, he turned to Faith to suggest that maybe they can rest then he saw that she was far away from him so he waited for her to catch up then he sat down then he suggested that they should rest for now.

Faith took this chance to ask “can you tell me more about the menu and the things that in it, I didn’t understand anything from what Ron said to me” Faith regretted that she asks this question after she saw his reaction.

Nate always wanted for someone to talk to about games but he didn’t find any, his grandson Max would always play online games Nate tried it once and he thought it was too toxic to play it again, he tried with his wife but she didn’t like the same games that he did as for his friend none of them even tried to listen to him, he felt that he wouldn’t find anyone.

He was happy when Faith asked him about that and it was shown all over his face but before he could say anything Faith said “I think, for now, you just need to tell me the most important stuff” Nate looked miserable after he thought that he could show his knowledge, Faith felt like it was kind of her fault so she told him that maybe later when they are safe he can tell her everything.

Nate didn’t want this but still, it was better than nothing before he talked he made sure that they were safe and nothing going near them using his skill then he returned and started to explain to her.

“First of all you want to know about my Animal Instinct skill, from what you saw and heard from me you think it is both bad and good at the same time and it is far worse than it is a good right Faith” Faith nodded in agreement with what he said “but here is the problem it is not that I can do anything about it”

Faith got confused by what Nate said and he understands that, because he was too like her when Max first explain that to him, so he continued “there is a couple of skills one of them that it cost something, for now, I don’t talk about it for all you need to know that type of skills that you can’t keep on using continuously, the other type it the total opposite of the first one it does not cost anything and you can use it all the time and it called passive skill and that skill is one”

“So why don’t you try to turn it off or something like that because I don’t think that we would be able to help you when we are against some strong monster and you wouldn’t be able to even walk”

“What you do not know that skills like that I can’t do anything about but that does not mean that every time this would happen because every skill has a level and it would get better and better for the caster”

Then they heard a noise nearby so they were about to move then they notice what made the noise and it was something look like a rabbit, when Nate saw it he was about to catch it but Faith stopped him “I don\’t think it would be a good idea to do this maybe this thing is dangerous”

Nate looked at the white rabbit then he thought that Faith was over worried so he tried to approach it but Faith grabbed his shirt to stop him, Nate was about to push Faith away from him but he remembered what she said before so he stopped.

There was another thing besides the rabbit and it was a snake approaching it when the snake was about to attack Faith closed her eyes because she didn’t want to see what would happen to the rabbit but she didn’t know that rabbit was able to run from snake’s attack and attacked the snake end up in killing it then the rabbit took the snake and ran away with it.

After that Nate told Faith to open her eyes before doing that she asked if the rabbit was able to run away from the snake or not.

Nate said “you don’t need to worry about it, the rabbit ends up killing the snake”

Faith opened her eyes and said “what”

“Yeah, it is like I said, the rabbit killed the snake and it was like you said that maybe that thing was not the rabbit and just something looked like one”

At first, Faith thought that Nate was joking about what happened but he looked serious, and even after asking repeatedly if he was joking or not he would say that what happened, so she just believe what Nate said to her and sat down on the ground scared of what might happen next.

Nate tried to help her calm down but she asks him his explaining things about the skills.

Nate wanted to help Faith but she refused it and asked him to continue what he said before he didn’t have any choice “well as I said before that the skills have leveled the higher the level the better the skill becomes”

“So you mean if you level the Animal Instinct up does that mean the headache and you not able to move won’t happen”

“Yes, that is right” after he said that Nate started to think as to why the skill didn’t warn him about the rabbit then he thought that maybe the rabbit didn't send any killing intent to him and that is why the skill didn’t trigger.
