Chapter 4 

She is looking at them, Zain and the man he is with. She can’t help but feel envious but then whenever she thinks that they are freaks, she feels like puking with that wand and magic. She shook her head and went to their room. 

“Where did you go?” her husband asked. She looked at him and smiled, she sat down beside him on the bed. 

“I listened to what Zain and the man are talking about, he got accepted to that freak school, Incantatus, where my brother studied, oh he’s not my brother because I am only adopted,” she said and laughed, she managed to enter this castle because they know that she is the sister of the great wizard in Victorium. 

“Why? Do you want our daughter to study there also?” her husband curiously asked. 

She immediately shook her head, “No, I don’t want to, there are other great schools in here, I don’t want her to be a freak!” she said, raising her voice. 

Her husband just raised his hands and didn’t mind her anymore, she just sits there and thinks of things that she needs to do, to be able to have a power inside this castle that she is living in.

"Zain," he looked at Miss Linda, his door was left open, that's why she had already entered. 

He smiled, "Yes, why?" he asked and fixed his shirt, Mr. Nones and he are going out today to buy his stuff for school. 

"Are you okay?" she asked him and sat down on the bed. Miss Linda is the only one who can enter his room because he doesn't like anyone to invade his privacy. 

He looked at her, she is worried about him. She always worries about him and he is thankful because he has her. He sat beside her and hold her hands. 

“I am okay, Miss Linda. Many things are waiting for me and I know that in the Incantatus, all of those will be answered,” he said and smiled. Miss Linda smiled back and exhaled deeply. 

How lucky he is to have Miss Linda in his life, someone to take care of him and be there for him always. Miss Linda told him to be safe and take care when he and Mr. Nones went to the Alley of Magics where he could buy the stuff needed for the upcoming magical year. 

“Miss Linda, Master Zain, Mr. Nones is outside already.” They were interrupted by the female servant, they looked at her and Miss Linda nodded. 

“Okay, Mistress. Thank you!” he said and the female servant bowed her head before leaving. 

“You take care, okay?” Miss Linda said while they were going down the stairs. He laughed. 

“I will be fine, Miss Linda. I’ll be home before you know it,” he replied and went straight to the front door where he saw Mr. Nones riding a pegasus. 

“Wow,” he mumbled. He will always be amazed at the things that he will continue to discover in this magical world that he is living in. 

Mr. Nones went down on the pegasus and went to him. “Are you afraid?” Mr. Nones asked him. He immediately shook his head saying no. He is not afraid, he is just amazed. This will also be the first time that he will be leaving the castle. 

“Hop in already and we will leave.” Mr. Nones said. He immediately went to the pegasus. 

“Woah!” he said as he rides the back of it. Mr. Nones is still talking with Miss Linda. 

“You take care of my boy, Nones.” he heard Miss Linda say to Mr. Nones, having that terror look on her face. Miss Linda is strict especially with the servants inside the castle, she doesn’t want them to make any mistakes, she wants everything to be perfect but then when it comes to him, she is kind and soft always. She also smiles when she is with him. 

“Yes, I know. The headmaster would also kill me if I didn’t take care of him. I still my love, okay?” Mr. Nones said laughing. Miss Linda bid goodbye already and Mr. Nones rides the pegasus too, he’s the one who will control the pegasus. 

“Take care!” Miss Linda shouted as the pegasus slowly ran to fly. 

“Zain, you hold tight!” Mr. Nones said as the pegasus lifted his feet from the ground and immediately flew fast. He immediately holds on to both sides for him not to fall, the pegasus is flying so fast. It only took how many minutes and they arrived at the entrance of Alley of Magics. 

He immediately went down of the pegasus and vomited. Mr. Nones is at his back laughing at him. He didn’t expect it to be that fast. 

“Did you enjoy the ride?” Mr. Nones asked patting his back as he vomits. He shook his head because he can’t still answer. He felt dizzy, Mr. Nones gave him a candy. 

“Eat it.” 

“What is this?” he asked. 

“It’s nitro candy.” Mr. Nones said. He said that this one helps with dizziness, it has magic in it that can easily calm you. 

They walked on the entrance of the Alley of Magics, and people are looking at him, starring. The others are smiling and the others look curious. 

“Why are they looking at me?” he asked Mr. Nones. 

“Because this is your first time going out of the castle, and they know you. You are the son of the powerful wizard 10 years ago.” Mr. Nones told him while they are walking, the alley of magics is full of different stores and many people are walking around. 

It is composed of 3 flying floors and a long path that you can’t see the end anymore. 

Wizards and witches are flying around using their wands. They first went to the Mistics, the store of wands. 

“It’s time to get your wand, Zain,” Mr. Nones said and opened the door for him. The store is full of different wands, he looks amazed. 

“Close your mouth, Zain,” Mr. Nones said while laughing and went to the counter to ring the bell. 

A woman appeared immediately, “Woah” he said. Because the woman just magically appeared when Mr. Nones rang the bell. 

“Hello, Zain Black,” the woman said and smiled. “Did those 10 years already pass by? You’re already here for your wand,” she added and went near him. She looked closely at him and held his chin. 

Oh, she is creepy. He said in his mind. “Hello,” he said and smiled awkwardly. 

"I am Milistra, and it's nice to have you here Zain. I've been waiting for you." She said as she looks at the back of the shelves, finding something. 

She's now holding a box and looking at it seriously. He saw the box and it has a nice engraving of ZB. 

"All the wands here belong to each wizard and witches that are born here in the Victorium, every time a wizard or witch is born, they already have their wands engraved with their initials." She explained while handing him the box of his wand. 

The engraved ZB looks so elegant. He opened it slowly and the wand looks dashing. Color black with silver and gold lines. 

"Your wand is special. No one can touch that wand without having a mark on their hand. It only answers to you unlike the other wands of the other witch and wizard." She told him while they are looking at his majestic wand. 

He holds the wand and it immediately shines. It looks so wonderful. He swishes it and it creates more light. But Mr. Nones immediately stopped him. 

"You can't use it yet without proper training Zain," Mr. Nones said and told him that they should get going. Before they leave the Mistics store, he heard Milistra said, "Be brave and be strong, Zain Black" then she immediately disappears. 

He and Mr. Nones bought the other stuff he needs and he is enjoying his time at the Alley of Magics. When they finished buying all the stuff he needed. They went back to the pegasus and flew to the castle. 

Miss Linda is already waiting for him outside the castle doors. He smiled and waved his hand as the pegasus slowed down and stopped in front of the castle. Miss Linda smiled and helped him go down the pegasus. 

"Did you enjoy it?" she asked him. He nodded happily. He told her what they did at the Alley of Magics, he also showed her his new wand and how gorgeous it looks. 

"And you know Miss Linda, the flying floors, there also flying elevators and stairs around there, I was so happy, I wanted to stay more a little bit but then Mr. Nones told me that I need to go home already," he happily told her all the things that happened. Even how the people around them stare at him like they saw something unexpected.

While Zain is happily telling stories to Miss Linda. His aunt is listening and not in the mood. 

She didn't want what Zain was gaining, she should do something. What if she let her daughter study in that School of Magic, her daughter is the niece of the great and powerful wizard that they adore, maybe she will be loved by the people there also.

She watched Zain smile and laugh with the servants while they are serving him. She didn't go down for dinner, that's why Zain is the only one eating in the dining room. Servants around him, asking him to tell stories and they happily listen to him. He is loved by them.

"I'm going to bed," He said after finishing eating the dessert that was prepared for him. 

The servants went out of the dining room already, only Miss Linda was left with him. 

"You fix yourself first before sleeping okay?" she said to him. He nodded and smiled. He walks upstairs already going to his room when he saw that his aunt is watching them. He ignored it and just went straight to his room. 

After doing a half bath, he immediately falls asleep, leaving his door unlocked. He forgets to lock it already because of tiredness.

Zain's aunt is peeking around, looking if guards or servants are wandering. She thought that if she killed Zain tonight, she will tell them that she saw how he was killed by a man. She will make herself a witness. 

She bought poison at the market when she went out, the vendor said that she just needs to put 3 drops and the person will die in their sleep.

She checked around and silently walk to the floor of Zain's room. Luckily when she arrives in front of Zain's door, she saw that the door is unlocked. She doesn't need to use anything that can catch the guard's attention. 

She silently opened the door and went inside the room. But then she didn't know that the moment she entered the room, a guard on his rounds saw her. 

The guard immediately alerts the others secretly using magic, Miss Linda was awakened by that and immediately gets her wand. 

"Zain, this is your end," his aunt said, she's on his side already, holding the little bottle of the poison. 

She was about to pour the liquid when the bottle flew and cracked.  She immediately looked at her back and saw that Miss Linda was there with the guards. 

"Gren," Miss Linda said and swished her wand. Zain's aunt immediately has a rope cuff on her wrist. 

"What do you think you are doing?" The guard yelled and was ready to cast another spell but Miss Linda stopped him. 

Zain immediately awakens by the shout and he saw that there are people inside his room.

"What happened?" he asked curiously. He saw the cracked bottle on the floor. 

"Master Zain, your aunt tried to kill you," the guard said. He can't believe it, why did his only family try to kill him.  

"Why?" he asked his aunt. His aunt laugh. "Why? you're asking me why? Do you think we want you? No. We just want what you have!" she yelled.

The guards grabbed her and brought her outside. Miss Linda went to Zain and checked if he had any injuries because she didn't know if they were on time or if the woman had already done something to her. 

"What will happen to her?" Zain asked Miss Linda. 

"We already informed the headmaster, he will be here any minute now." Miss Linda said and asked him to go down with her. 

When they got down, Zain's aunt, uncle, and cousin are already there, as well as the headmaster. 

"The three of you will be punished. You will be thrown out of the Victorium and will never have a chance to return forever. You will live poorly outside the Victorium." The headmaster angrily said and cast a spell. A big black hole appeared and the three were thrown there. 

Zain heard his aunt shouting but he didn't mind it anymore. In the first place he doesn't want him here but then because he loves his father, he accepted them but then this happens, he trusted them but they tried to kill him.
