The dust settled, as well as the horrifying and death-defying quake of the Megadishu. Dreygo’s ears continued to ring annoyingly and he felt the thickness of contaminated air fill the atmosphere invading his nostrils.

“A megadishu blew. We are lucky that it was miles away from here. Probably from the very end of the Demon Army.” Viriel pondered, panting hard. His armor scarred from the blast.

“Who could have detonated it, Viriel?” Dreygo asked as he inspected the area. It was bathed with blood and bodies of the dead. Ethers came forth from the demons wailing in terrifying unison. Angels seemed to be safe from where they stood. But only their numbers had diminished to almost a defeat because of Pride’s Death winds.

“Where is your Lord Arkeus now, Viriel?” Dreygo asked, he spat blood into the marshy ground. The air filled with charred flesh and bones. He could almost taste it.
