Loren had the 3 other kids sit on his bed with him, he slowly looked at them seeing how quiet they were.

Looks like Loren has to break the awkward slice.

“I take it you are wounding in your little heads about what a boy like me is going to do with you guys.”

None said a word as they were still silent from them Loren sigh then kept on talking.

“Well do not worry as what I have planned for all of you is to train you into people who could be useful for the future to come that means you will be taken care of by me.”

“I want to…. Go home.” the human girl said right in crying along with the other tagging in it.

“Oh great this is just what I need to deal with, but do I have the right to complain?”

Loren watched those 3 cries in front of him.

“Come now there is no need for you all to cry as I said, I will be the one taking care of you, and besides I doubt their place for you to return as I am sure everyone you love is dead.”

The boy made things much worse as they cried evermore.

“God damn it I am bad at this.” Loren thought as he soon heard someone scream.

That when the door to the boy room was immunity opened by Clifton.

“Prince Loren!.... The demon girl she is.” Loren put a hand up to stop the butler from talking any further.

“Well this is my fault I should have paid more attention to her, I better handle this. You 3 are still here and Clifton brings them something to eat and drink while I take care of the girl.”

“Understood master Loren.” The boy walked past the butler to where he heard the scream.

Upon arriving in the bathroom where the demon was taken to be clean by the maids.

Loren saw that one maid was dead, another wound being taken care of by two other maides.

“Damn this is going to cause me a lot of trouble from my father.” saying that Loren walked up to the wounded maid.

He healed the woman's wound with the best healing spell the boy earned.

“Thank you prince.” The maid thanked him.

“Forgive me as I have caused this, I am responsible for the girl and intend to take care of it.”

Loren took his leave to continue on his search for the girl as that didn't take long as there was another scream for the boy to hear.

Wasting no time Loren follows it to come across a scene where a few guards are surrounding the demon girl keeping their distance from her.

One of them has fallen victim to her attack as Loren saw and quickly acts before things get out of hand any further.

Casting a strong wind spell to push away the guards from the demon girl then the boy cast another spell to place him in front of her.

“Stand down, this girl is under my protection!.” Loren orders them so they obey as the man had no choice, but to.

Loren then turns to the demon girl.

“You caused me a lot of trouble that I am going to have to take care of, now come with me.”

Loren reach out to her as the girl notice and attack the boy using her sharp claws against

“Prince Loren!.” one of the guards called out.

“Stay back and let me deal with this,” Loren told the guards as he stood back up with 3 claw marks on his face.

His blood drops to the floor, but the boy doesn’t pay mind to it and only focuses on the girl.

“I don’t know why, but somehow I felt your anger along with other feelings you are feeling. You hate that you were born the way you are, you wish that it never happens that you never existed is that right.”

The demon girl only hisses at Loren.

“There is nothing that can change what you are or how you came to be, but I can help you if you allow me as that is what I want to do for you.”

Loren put out a hand to her as she looked at it.

“Take my hand and let me be by your side,” Loren said, smiling at her.

The demon girl stares at his hand then at him for a long moment as she doesn’t see the boy angry for what she did to his face.

Only showing a smile to her as she then began to calm down a little and start to reach out to his hand to where soon she grabbed hold onto hers.

“I am happy you accepted as I truly do wish to help you.” Loren slowly and carefully brings the girl into his embrace hugging her.

At first, she thought he was going to do something to her, but once in his full embrace, the girl felt safe for some reason.

Loren was happy to have reached her, but there were still things he had to take care of.

“Loren, what the hell is going on.” Loren knows that voice well and turns behind him to see his father.

“Father.”

“Care to explain to me, my son.”

Loren sees that he has to use every power within him to explain and convinces his father about allowing the boy to keep the girl.

It took a lot and a long time with the talk between him and his father alone, but the boy was able to win it.

Yet even with winning the talk, his father gives him a warning if the girl ever does something like this again, he will have her killed.

Loren couldn’t say against it only to agree to what his father said.

When everything was done Loren took the girl with him back to his room only to find the other kids sleeping in his bed.

“Well, it seems they were tired huh,” Loren said and looked at the girl to listen to her response.

She said nothing, only that the girl does not know how to speak as Loren can tell.

“Guess she was born into a hard life, I don’t think this girl had the chance to learn anything.”

Soon an idea came to Loren.

“Hey how about we go to the library in the castle, I believe there are books you would like.”

Loren holds the girl and leads her out of his room to the library.

“I come to this library a lot to learn, but there are other books that are still fun to read.”

Loren looked through the books on the shelves and soon found one to read to the girl.

“This book will let us find a place to sit, so I can read it to you like that.”

Loren saw the girl slowly nod her head to him.

“Good to know.” Loren and the girl walked to a chair, he was the first to sit on it then had the girl sit on his lap where the boy placed the book in front of her.

Then the boy remembered something important and that was that the girl had no name.

“Hey you have no name would you like me to give you one,” Loren ask

The girl looked at Loren and nodded in approval like she was happy to be given a name by the boy.

“Very well then your name will be Angelina do you like that name.”

The boy asked and saw the girl smile happily nodding her head to say yes.

“I am happy that you like the name, now let me read you this book.”

The next day came where Loren was having breakfast with Angelina and the other kids.

The boy took the chance to get to know the others starting by knowing their name as the first one was the human girl.

Her name was Cecelia, the dark Elf girl was Enidut Pathwarrior and last was the Elf boy whose name was Diloar Swordcarver.

When done learning their names Loren told his name then explained what he had planned for the 4 of them.

Telling each one they will be trained at what they are skillful at as it started with Enidut Pathwarrior.

All of them walk their way to the training ground where the king's men train themselves every day and by captain Jordan who notices those kids making their way to him.

“What can I do for you, prince Loren.”

“I would like for you captain to train Enidut Pathwarrior like the soldiers you train under you.”

Loren put the dark elf girl in front of him so captain Jordan can have a good look at her.

“You want me to train this dark elf girl, I don’t know, I normally train men.”

“Then what about your daughter, is she being trained by you captain?”

Captain Jordan signed as Loren had a point there whenever his daughter was with him the men would take the chance to teach her how to fight.

“Very well, I will train the girl.” the man agreed.

“Thank you captain, please train her well.”

Loren looks to Enidut Pathwarrior seeing that the girl is uneasy.

“Do not worry Enidut captain will take good care of you and I will always be there to add you as well.”

Enidut Pathwarrior seems more at ease to hear Loren say that as she soon follows behind Captain Jordan.

Loren moves on to the next person and Cecelia the boy discovers that the girl has a small hit of magic in her.

It is small, but Loren believes he can make it grow bigger when training the girl himself.

So he took them to the library.

“Cecelia, I will teach you magic.”

“Magic!, but I know nothing of it or even have any talent for it.”

“Oh, but you do, I can sense it and I will train you to be the best there is because I believe in you.”

Cecelia felt a little happy to hear Loren say that to her even if the two don’t know each other well.

“Loren, what the hell are they doing here?”

They each turn behind them to see two young well-dressed twin boys.

“Ah brother, good morning.”

“Do not call me brother as I do not see you as one and what these slaves are doing in our family library.”

“They are with me as I don’t think it would be a problem and besides my brother they have names.”

After saying that Loren can see the anger on his half-brother's face.

“I told you not to call me that!.” Loren's half-brother smacked him in the face.

Angelina saw what happened to Loren and was about to attack, but the boy stopped her from doing that.

“Don’t Angelina.”

“What the hell is that thing?” his half-brother saw Angelina and was horrified.

“Her name is Angelina and she is no concern to you, so how about you leave us alone as we are busy.”

“Why you…”

“Brother, that's enough time to waste with them. We have better things to do and besides, do you wish to make your father angry with you.”

The other twin brother said which made him stop and the two left the library.

“Loren are you ok,” Cecelia asks, walking up to him, but couldn't get too close as Angelina hiss at her.

“Angelina calms down, Cecelia is a friend, there is no need to be that way to her.”

Angelina listens to Loren.

“Let us continue what we were doing.”

Next was the elf boy Diloar Swordcarver, but he had to wait until the day turned to night.

Loren, Angelina, and he were the only three up in his room while two girls were asleep.

“Loren, why do we need to be up.”

“The reason behind that is because there is someone I would like you to meet.”

“Who could that be?”

“An Assassin, my friend.”

Diloar Swordcarver was surprised to hear Loren tell him that he was going to be an Assassin and before he could say another word.

Loren put up a hand to keep him from further speaking, he saw Angelina hissing at something.

“Welcome my friend for taking the time to meet at this hour of the night.”

A mystery stranger covers the cloak where no one can see this person's face appearing from the shadows standing in front of them. 

Angelina was not comfortable with this but calmed down a little when Loren patted her head.

This mystery stranger was the Assassin Loren who was talking about and pays no mind to the elf boy or the demon girl but keeps a close hand to the weapons besides Assassin's side in case the girl gets any funny ideas.

The only person that was being focused on by the Assassin was Loren and the boy can feel it.

“You have requested my services prince Loren.”
