It looked like a group of squids probably tens of hundreds of them combined. But the outline of each squids clearly visible. 

"Cover me ,damn it" Anna yelled and nocked an arrow. "Copy cap. " replied George. He lifted his war hammer and ran towards the beast and at the last moment shifted to his right to avoid the tentacle that was coming towards him with a swoosh of air. He jumped on the back of the beast and was trying his best to beat it to death but could not , so Jessica moved with a quick speed and somehow got on the back of the beast. She tried to pierce it's skin, and then yelled, "It's skin is hard to pierce through. "Anna who had nocked the arrow, said, " No clear shot. Shit ! "

I saw the reason. That damn beast, sure was smart. It tried to fall of on it's back to smash Jessica and George with it's size. And would have succeeded if not for Lisa. She pierced one of it's tentacle with her katars. 

SHIT! NOT GOOD

A wounded predator is the most dangerous. 

It rose to a great height and then emitted a guttural roar. Then it smashed Lisa with another tentacle on her side, thereby knocking her out cold. 

Seeing this George fumed and then roared and began hitting his war hammer with sudden increase in strength. But it was nothing. The tentacle monster wrapped one of his tentacle around George and another around Jessica. Then smashed them to each other, then threw them towards a tree. Anna was shocked. She frozed. 

Shit ! 

It's health bar hadn't even dropped an inch. 

Everyone except me and Anna were near to dying. 

I had no other choice. I took out my spear from my inventory. And tossed it towards beast's right eye. But that fuc*ing beast, hit the spear with it's tentacle. I drew out my dark swords and jumped into the water . It started attacking me with it's tentacles under water. Thanks to the mobility provided by my armor. I quickly evaded it's attacks. 

I HAVE TO END IT. BUT HOW ? 

It's movements are too quick for my liking. 

I have only one option. Severe it's eyes then it's tentacles. And be quick to do it. 

I had to use BLOOD RAGE. 

My vision turned red. It was like I was in a fit of rage. My actions were like that of an animal. 

SURVIVE BY KILLING. OR GET KILLED. 

I ran towards the grave mind. My speed to quick due to BLOOD RAGE. I jumped . I landed on it's head. The timer at the corner of my eyes showed 20 seconds had been wasted. 

I pierced it's eyes with my swords. No I cannot cut it's tentacles. Time is less. Only 25 seconds left. 

Hive minded. Hive minded. Hive minded. 

The Queen. 

Yes that's it. 

Where is she.. 

I ran towards other tentacles. Yeah. Got it. 

The blue-green tentacle that might be the Queen's. 

I chopped of the tentacles and pierced it's brain. 

The squid like creatures slowly went back to hibernation. 

I guess they can only hibernate without a queen. 

Good. 

I fell down. I didn't know what happened. It was like I was floating in a void. 

After few minutes my vision cleared.

LOSS OF STAMINA DUE TO BLOOD RAGE .

I got up. I was at the bank of the river, along with the others. 

"You alright. " I asked to everyone there. I got my answers with their nods. 

Anna was still shaken. Jessica was comforting her.
