The Heavenly City of the Westerfort naturally had walls as monsters of all sorts lived in the forest above the mountaintop.

While there were hunts and powerful cultivators ensuring that the beasts in the Westerforts would not grow too many, it was only natural that they still created walls and forts fearing attacks and raids. Long ago, there was no wall as the people believed there would be no war. It wasn’t until the monster raid of a Brute Ape army that led to the deaths of thousands that forced the Westerfort finally built a wall. This was one of the reasons why Kanter became the next Duke of Westerfort as he was the only one who insisted on building it.

Over the wall, few guards were in place as most were set to guard the inner parts of the kingdom to prevent any possible assassination attempts.

But around the city were members of several Baron and Viscount's groups that Duke Kanter had directly ordered to guard and monitor the situation fearing the worst.
