A Kind Hearted Man: Danesh

*** Two months later ***

As it was the last day of the project he was working on, Danesh was trying to focus on his work, trying to ignore the distracting gossip of his close friend.

"Hey, man, did you hear the latest news?"

"What is it now, Mikhail?"

"What's this reaction, man? You learn everything in this factory thanks to me. You should be grateful, Danesh."

" OK, man, tell it, I'm kinda busy, as you see."

" OK, do you remember Amina in the Financial Department? There is a rumor that she's in love with..."

"Cut this, Mikhail! She is married. It's gossip, not news."

"But, listen, hey..."

Danesh, who has a nature that respects people's privacy, stood up and walked away to avoid hearing the continuation of the subject. After going to the bathroom and washing his face, he looked thoughtfully into his own blue eyes for five seconds in the mirror... Then he snapped out of his thoughts and smiled at himself and walked out of the bathroom. He left the building for a break after a while.

He was working as an engineer in the Project Department of an International Company located in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. It was still working time but he wanted a break. He took out the cigarette pack from his pocket, looked at the last cigarette left in it, put it in his mouth, lit it, and began to examine his surroundings.

A forklift operator was trying to move a large box without using heavy construction equipment.

Danesh left his cigarette on the ashtray and went to help, and together they completed the task.

"Thank you." The worker said.

Danesh didn't say anything, just smiled and turned back, but saw that his cigarette was not where he had left it. "Of, no."

"Hi, Danesh" A girl came around him.

"Ah, Amina, what's up?"

"Thank you, Danesh." Amina had two cups in her hands. "Take this,"

"What's that?"

"British tea. My uncle brought it for me. It's delicious"

Danesh took the coffee mug and sniffed for five seconds, wondering about its smell, but his always positive face took on an emotionless expression.

Amina was agitated by Danesh's facial expression. "What happened?"

Danesh smiled again. "Nothing, it smells good." He started to drink. "Yes, it's really good, thank you. Anyway. You're lucky to have found me here."

"Ah, I see you here often."

"Do you imply that I smoke too much? Please do not tell anyone this. I don't want to get a warning from my superior"

"Do you imply that I'm a gossiper?" Amina smiled.

"No, but the walls are not deaf."

"Wow, a nice speech."

Danesh didn't answer and just smiled again. He was always like that, not very talkative, often smiling calmly.

They heard some shouts. There was an argument between the security guard and a guest there, and the shouting was getting louder. They looked at them. Tension was rising there, more people were coming to the scene and, contrary to calming down, the events kept growing.

Danesh went to the scene and tried to calm both parties. His help worked and the fight was over before it escalated, but Danesh was beaten.

"Are you okay?" Amina asked, but she got her answer when Danesh turned to his face.

His nose and mouth were bleeding.

"Of my God, help him please."

"I called the infirmary." The security guard who had just enlisted Danesh's help calmed Amina.

Five hours passed and the working day was over. Amina turned off her computer, left the building, but saw an unusual crowd in front of the building. Danesh was in the center of the people, talking among themselves and in a good mood.

"Hi, guys. What's happening?"

"We say farewell to Danesh."

"What, why?"

"He was fired"

"What! Is this a joke?"

"Ok, Amina. It's not a problem. I was looking for another job anyway."

"No, Danesh. It is not OK! I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the fight that took place at the entrance today. You were the mediator and the victim. That is not fair!"

"I can understand them, Amina."

"No, Danesh. How can you be so calm and happy in a situation like this? There are cameras too. I will go to them and tell them everything!"

Danesh hugged Amina.

Amina blushed because she had feelings for him.

"It's OK..." He whispered in her ear and started walking, looking at her for the last time and smiling.

Amina was very upset that Danesh left his job permanently because she liked him. He was 28 years old, tall, with black hair, blue eyes, and fit. But the reason she liked him was that, unlike his handsomeness, he was a kind man who always helped people. Danesh was a true role model. But that didn't matter anymore because it was her last look at him, accepting the fact that they would never see each other again.

When Amina went to the bus stop, the bus arrived at the same time as her and got on the bus.

Danesh went to his car, an old model of Proton Waja.

Amina was staring into the distance with blank eyes. The AH141 highway, to which her bus was going, was not a busy one, making it an ideal place for people to contemplate. Amina was watching the roadside trees with sad and empty eyes. She dreamed of the Danesh many times. She had rehearsed in front of the mirror many times to talk to Danesh about her feelings, but her marriage had always stopped her. She had waited for the right time, but all this was meaningless now that they could no longer meet.

"What the hell?!" A passenger shouted loudly.

Amina looked inside the bus. People were staring at the small TV screen of the bus and their cell phones, muttering in surprise as the same broadcast was playing throughout.

A live broadcast was made with the camera inside a helicopter. The broadcasters were following a car on the highway, a different broadcast was on a small screen in the lower right corner of the screen, and two people in golden masks with long noses were announcing the broadcast from that screen.

Amina took out her cell phone and saw the same broadcast was on the screen.

All online devices were hacked...

Harsh sounds were heard from the rear side of the vehicle and panicked passengers tried to look out the rear window. A car had sped overtaken the left of the bus and it was in the front of the bus within two seconds. Amina tried to look at the car in detail because when she saw it superficially, it looked like Danesh's car.

Then more harsh sounds were heard and the passengers began to scream. The bullets coming from above injured the passengers. Moreover, many bullets hit the driver's seat and the driver lost control of the vehicle. The bus hadn't crashed into anything but was about to get off the highway at any moment, with the driver trying everything to regain control.

Amina started shaking uncontrollably, so she was trying to grab something again and screaming. She then grabbed the two metal bars.

She was able to look at the phone's screen because she had fallen to the floor with her phone screen facing her. Now there was an additional square on the screen, and there, in the lower-left corner of the screen, a picture of a man was posted. That face belonged to Danesh...

She looked up in a panic and saw two military helicopters flying in front of the bus. They had come from behind and were now firing nonstop at the car they were following in front of them. Amina looked in detail and saw the truth that hurt her soul. The vehicle they tried to destroy with heavy weapons was Danesh's car...

They were trying to kill Danesh...
