The great divine academy, student dorms, room no-97

Mark was lying on his bed, his whole body was aching, his muscles were screaming in pain, he was facing the worst pain he had ever experienced. Today, during that hellish training he had to use every single muscle of his body to the extreme, in order to dodge even a single attack from those golems, yet he did so for about 4 hours continuously.

If not for the fact, that he has the advantage of his class being very powerful, he would have also ended up like those several students who directly fainted after the training ended. They were sent to the healer’s office for treatment. (a healer’s office is like a hospital in this world.)

The students who fainted due to over exhaustion will take about two days to recover fully to their peak, the healer said something like that or maybe something else but Mark was unable to hear more because he himself was extremely exhausted and was hurrying towards his dorm room. After arriving in his room, he directly collapsed on his bed.

Only Mark himself knew how difficult it was to even return to his own room, every single step seemed to have been taking eternity. Its just his undefeatable will that lead him to his room safely, until he finally collapsed on the bed. He didn’t even had time to curse at that demonic teacher, the exhaustion took over his body and he directly fell asleep.

He slept for the whole day and woke up in the morning the second day, his body was still only half recovered and he knew that his body will take some more time to return to his peak.

The same was the situation with other students of the knight class, they all were still recovering from the exhausted state. Luckily the class is only held twice every week and there’s still plenty of time for them to recover and reflect on their past mistakes.

The rumors about the hellish training was already running wild in the academy though:

“Did you hear, several knight students were admitted to the healer’s office yesterday.”

“Heh, looks like they really have a bad fate, they have such a person as a teacher afterall.”

“Maybe, the knight students of this year are only just big talk and don’t really have the strength to back them up”

“Heh heh, it seems the inter-class competition will be a lot easier this year. Since the knight will all be just a bunch of trashes.”

“Yeah, you are right!”

The rumors about the first-year knight students being too weak was circulating all around the academy now, it seems that others had misunderstood the reason behind the fainting of the knight students.

These rumors started to create tension among the five classes and the knight students were now in a disadvantageous position. It is a well-known fact that the five classes and the students of these five classes are all competitors of each other in this academy.

In this academy, not to mention you have to compete in your own class, you will even need to compete with the students of other classes as well. This is also one of the many reasons why Mark the main protagonist was always under constant battles in the original game story.

He not only had to fight against his allies, he also had to defend his class too. Since, Mark is the hero, he will eventually become the only leader of the Knight group while Mira accompanying him as the second leader. They together fought several duels and fights against other class members.

Since fighting is normal in this academy, there’s obviously a well built dual arena in the academy, where you can challenge anyone you want and can have a fair match with them, this is also the place where Mark killed Neo in the game and became the first student to defeat a professor after just a single semester, in the long history of the academy.

Well this is not a glorious thing for Neo but a real achievement for the famous protagonist in every way. It not only gave Mark fame in the academy, but also gave him the chance to show off as much as he wants. (Bragging is important afterall, right?)

Principal’s Office,

“So how is it going, did you get anything strange in his behavior?” (Mike)

Principal Mike was all alone in his room, yet he was talking to someone, an ordinary person might consider him as a mental patient but the reality is not just how it looks. There’re several powerful persons standing in this room around the principal acting as his most loyal guards, while also providing him with all the information he wants.

This is also the reason why you should not judge some thing’s by its looks alone. There can be more to it, which is hidden from the regular sight.

“well, it seems everything about him is strange, Master. I don’t know where to start.” (???)

“Oh, its strange in itself that such a capable person like you, is also confused by him, interesting. Just tell me what you found” (Mike)

“Well, it seems he is too much of a training maniac, he seems to be training day and night without stopping. But the strangest thing was his class today.” (???)

“Hmm, well it’s a surprise that he is a training maniac, but what’s so strange about his class?” (Mike)

“His teaching style is a bit peculiar, he directly used golems on the students on the very first day, without any basic trainings” (???)

It should be taken in consideration that normally, every knight is taught the basics of knighthood first including the honor and pride of a knight, which should never be abandoned, this is because any knight who shame his honor, is not considered a true knight anymore. For a knight his honor and pride come first, anything is after that.

“He ordered the students to defeat one of those golems somehow, only then will they be allowed to leave the class, the students were all fighting in a very undisciplined way. Most of them were just running away for hours or so.” (???)

“So, how did the class end then, by students collapsing?” (Mike)

“Nope, the heir of the Milan family Mira united all the students and acted as the leader, in the end they were able to defeat a single golem after several hours of constant fighting.” (???)

“That’s such a weird way of training, generally the knights first need to build up their basic strength and stamina through daily exercises and only after training in weapons and learning discipline can they be capable of fighting.” (Mike)

“The heck is he even doing by directly throwing the students in a fight.” (Mike)

“According to the academy rules, I can suspend any teacher who injured a student fatally during his class, and if the thing you told me is true then there must be some injured students.” (Mike)

“Should I directly suspend him, it will prevent me from all this trouble” (Mike)

“Well, Master, actually not a single student was injured, but they only ended up exhausted and fainted.” (???)

“Huh, how’s that possible? After such a training no student got injured?” (Mike)

“Well, it seems he knew the rules of academy and maybe was also aware of the fact that you might be keeping an eye on him. Due to which every time a student was going to get injured, he just made that student float out of the danger by his aura or something.” (???)

“Tsk, that bastard is more cunning than I originally thought, he must have used the paladin’s aura, that skill is one of the few skills, which is capable of manipulating aura like that.” (Mike)

“Just keep an eye on that guy and report me if you observe anything wrong with him.” (Mike)

“Should I sneak in his training hall, Master” (???)

“Nope, you know that it’s a rule to not disturb any professors training and keeping an eye on their training methods is forbidden. We don’t want more troubles for now.” (Mike)

“Just observe him normally as you have been doing until now.” (Mike)

The shadow then disappeared in thin air, again invisible to normal sight.

“Neo……. heh……you are such a trouble, tsk” (Mike)
