Among the almost hundred people that are standing before us, a woman wearing a stylish armor is talking. Her helmet doesn't show even the color of her hair or her eyes. Most of the others people also wear armors but she has the most stylish. Some of them are wearing indigo priest attire with hoods hiding their faces.

"What is happening?"

"What is this? Is this a prank?"

The guys present all start looking around with dumb surprised faces. But I guess I must have the same kind of face right now.

"I can't believe it."

I blurt it out without thinking. But I don't think anyone would resent me if they knew. That fucking old bastard was telling the truth. The whole time, it was all true. Right when I was about to give up and accept that I was mistaken, I am shown the way.

"I know that you may be surprised but we beg you to remain calm as we will explain everything."

The guy who was going to stab me walk in front of everyone. He keeps holding his knife like the world is his to do as he sees fit. I would like to deal with him but I think he will be very surprised.

He then gets slammed down and restrained by the soldier. That was a good technique he used there. Using the momentum of his retreat to add power to the movement and throw him off balance. I like it, though it wouldn't work on me.

The knight with the stylish armor walks forward to us and the students start retreating in fear. She then kneels before us and removes her helmet. When she does, her face is revealed. A face as beautiful as…

Instantly, every student turns towards me, well not me but Sarah who is behind me.

"What in god's name is this?"

However, she is as surprised as they are. The woman looks just like an older version of Sarah. Though, not entirely, she has a mole below the right eye that Sarah doesn't have, and judging by the traits of her face, she is more muscular.

"Sarah, is this your doing? Are you messing with us?!" David's voice finally comes behind us and I can hear moving forward.

When I turn around, he is already about to grab Sarah and she closes her eyes while screaming.

"Kyaa!!"

Sigh…this is will be to settle my debt after you have taken care of me, even though I didn't need it. I grab his wrist before he can touch her and just like the soldier did, but better, I use the momentum of his movement to break his balance and slam him down.

Almost everyone starts fainting and seeing as I am the only one still relatively okay, I fall as well and act like I have fainted. It would be too weird if I didn't.

I can hear them talking and apparently, the woman didn't intend to make us faint, which means that she is either too emotional or she can't control her strength. If she is a captain here, then it should be the second option.

After that, it seems the soldiers have transported us to different rooms. I am with four people judging by the number of footsteps I hear entering and leaving the room after me.

When I open my eyes, I am in a pretty comfy bed, compared to the simple mattress I have at home, I can't say I am dissatisfied. There are three soldiers standing at the door and the other four people I mentioned each has a bed like mine. The one closer to me is Ian, one guy from my class whose family name I don't know. Maybe that's not even his real name. Who cares anyway?

"Sir, please, I hope that you will be patient as the people in charge will come to explain everything."

"Okay, no problem." I already know most of it from his diary but still, it can't hurt to learn.

I look by the window and I get a glance of a scaly lizard flying outside. This…This is truly another world, huh. Will I be able to do it then? Will I be able to surpass him and see for myself, what lies beyond that hill?
