Zhi Ruo's POV

Is it another woman perhaps? Judging at how the servants limp on her feet. Her expression was viciously sneering every step on the way to the door of this miss's courtyard. That vicious sneer on her face seems to support that she was just beaten up and is looking for something to beat for her anger to dissolve.

I tilted my head as she jumped at every flutter of a wind, as if their is a ghost waiting to eat her. The jump had slightly revealed some nail marks on her neck. Liu Su Yang wouldn't be the one who have done that, she has the tendency to flog a servant to submitting. Saying that a servant isn't even worth for her to get her hands dirty.

Judging from that, maybe this isn't related to Liu Su Yang? But Liu Su Yang is awfully quiet at the failed assassination attempt. 

Finally the girl arrive at the door. She kneeled on the rotting floorboards putting the tray on the ground. She raised her hands up and knocked on the sliding door. I smirked at this. This isn't Liu Su Yang's doing, that concubine wouldn't bother on knocking.

I took my time going back inside the house I got a piece of cloth to cover my face before opening the door. But when I opened the door the servant was sneering, I looked down at her and narrowed my eyes when her expression quickly changed as if she was replacing a mask.

"This nubi is here to send some breakfast to the first Xiaojie." She respectfully knowtowed. I didn't remove my limbs from the sliding frame. And I didn't quickly respond for her to stop bowing. When she started to shake due to the cold morning wind did I decided to answer.

"Speak who sent you here." I removed my hands and folded them behind my back. I sneered coldly when I could almost hear her gritting her teeth.

"The second Niang, Liu Bai Pan. She heard that the first Xiaojie is here in this courtyard and wishes to pay her respects via Breakfast" I raised an eyebrow. When a memory flashed inside my mind. 

Liu Bai Pan, the second Concubine that the general took for the first 13 years, She was welcomed last week. The rumors that I have heard last week when I was getting my usual water, the general supposedly bought her after he had fooled around in a brothel after an successful battle on the northern borders of the empire.

His fellow higher ups had bought the woman 'Wu Bai Pan' now known as 'Liu Bai Pan' and gifted her to the general. And what is most surprising was, the general actually accepted the woman and is now the second Niang of the Liu Fu.

Now that I think about it, Liu Su Yang started getting antsy around the time Liu Bai Pan was welcomed into the Liu Fu. That bitch was probably getting impatient and tried to send an assassin on my way to make her position more stable. But, knowing her. This wasn't the first time she tried to assassinate me.

"Xiaojie should eat the food before it gets cold. The morning breeze is also very cool, Xiaojie should warm up with thick clothes inside while eating the breakfast." This time the servant was smiling up to me mockingly. 

I lifted the corners of my mouth and sneered maliciously, and imposingly glared down to the impudent servant. I laughed internally at how her face went pale seeing my expression, her hands shook and so did her pupils. 

"Are you mocking this Xiaojie?" I glared down at her pupils in contempt. "Any person with eyes can see that this Xiaojie is dirt poor, and you dare to say to 'warm up with thick clothes' are you mocking me? " Her pupils shook and she banged her head on the floor frantically apologizing. She looked like she was just hit by a boulder and was made to eat dirt after her blunder.

Although the talk about the young miss being poor, said person was standing with clean and crisp white clothing that could almost be said as elegant. The only thing different was the rug that covered the person's face. Although the servant was confused seeing the clean looking clothing she bit her tongue upon seeing the look on the Xiaojie's face. Truly! The person here is very confusing according to the rumors! The servants shouts were only heard in her heart.

"Nubi was wrong! Nubi was wrong! Spare this lower one! Spare me!" Tears left her eyes, with her rubbing her hands with frantic movements trying to apologise.

This time, just like she did. I switched the expression that I have as if I was just switching a mask. This servant is daring enough then how about I play with her a little more.

Then with a benevolent smile I kneeled on one knee. I took her hands with my bony ones, and made her look into my eyes. "Then why don't you share breakfast with this Xiaojie? I'll take it as your heartfelt apologies." Her pupils mysteriously shook after meeting mine.

"Th- this..Nubi- Nubi complies." Her hands that was holding was shaking uncontrollably. The tears were streaming from her eyes. But no sounds of complaints left her mouth.

"Then bring the tray inside." I motioned for her to bring the tray. She complied while holding it with unsteady eyes. It didn't take long before we were seated on the barren area with only some rotting table and chair that was called the dining room.

I smiled and yet it was not a smile. She then started to set up the table with the food. She had brought with her some some spoon and a pair of chopsticks. Clearly only meant for one person.

This time I crossed my arms over my chest, and watched her whole figure shook in fright. "Eat." The word left my mouth.

She dares? She dare bring poison into my own territory? Does this miss look like someone stupid? Even if I kill her here now, burry her body under this courtyard no one will care. That new concubine dares to play tricks that even the old me is so used to, does she really think that her pathetic schemes will succeed?

She must be looking down at the struggles within the Liu Fu. How many woman did Liu Su Yang kill just to take hold of the General. That bitch knows the moment she gives birth to a son, she knows that she will rise to the position of the official wife. 

"What are you waiting for? Are you disobeying this Xiaojie?" I took a step to the quivering servant. "I. said. eat." I watch her take a bite of the- now cold food. Every bite that she takes the tears won't stop streaming.

She is impudent enough to sneer at me, is this really what the whole Liu Fu thinks of this Miss? Good...good very good. Wait until I get my hands on them, I'll make sure to drink their blood and eat their flesh.

The servant flinched seeing the expression on my face. "Hic!.... Hic! Wu wu I'm eating Xiaojie! Hic- I'm eating!" I watched as she slurped every last food that was on the tray her snot was mixed in the food somewhere. "Please don't kill this i*- Hic! Ignorant Nubi!" She kept on sobbing, lucking the bowls even though it was empty.

I switched the expression on my face again. "My my, why are you crying? I'm not hitting you." I patted her hands that was shaking. She looked at me and fear was written all over the snot face of the servant. "Do you hate eating that much?" 

She wailed after I let that sentence out of my mouth. "No! This lowly one does not hate eating hiiiicc! Please forgive this lowly one!" I smiled after hearing the reply.

"Then everytime to come here with food, make sure you'll eat it all in front of this Xiaojie." I grasped her hands tightly. "Do you hear me? Also tell that Second Niang that I enjoyed the breakfast. Tell her to bring some more to this dirt poor Xiaojie." I let the sinister smile broke from my face. As the saying goes 'slapping it's dog is slapping the master.' 

"Repeat it word by word ok?" I patted the the fallen servant on the face before whispering into her ears. "Also I didn't like your expression when you brought the breakfast to this Xiaojie. Make sure this Xiaojie won't see that expression ever again. Or you'll be the very first body that this courtyard will hide." I smiled benevolently at the poor girl who smelled like she soiled her clothes.

"Now scram, take whatever you brought into this courtyard and leave." She scrambled to get the the things that she brought over. And nevermind showing her respects, she dashed out of the courtyard before I could even laugh.

My actions now, would be the proof that this miss had changed. I know that the servant didn't actually see my expressions, but I know that my eyes were expressing enough. At least enough for her to know that I have eyes on her.

Did they say that this miss is trash? Then let me be trash. They say that this miss is ugly? Then let this miss be ugly. I'm going to let them eat their own shit, after all they have done to this body. They have killed this body once, I'm not going to let them kill this body twice. Retribution will come after them.

I looked at the rotting table and chair. And sighed. 

I closed my eyes and checked on how many times I can open the lotus dimensions. And found that I can only open it only a dozen times after pondering over and over again about it. This time I took out five blue stones, the ones that used to fill up the tub for my bath. Some black modern business suites along with it's undergarments and some black two inches heels. 

"Hmm, these are branded. How did these get inside my dimension? It was probably my secretary. Only she would fuss about needing more clothes and how little my closet is." I clutched the black blazer that was made for my personal collection, the long square pants that was with it, and the branded white T-shirts. 

"I've always had to transfer these to my dimensions in order to make more room. That girl is so fussy about these things." I could only reminiscent about my secretary who was now probably next on the line for the next CEO now that I'm gone. If she found the will that I left behind.

I walked to my bedroom, and went to my bed clutching the items on my hands with much difficulty.

I set aside the other two shirts and, laid the only white one along with the blazer. The costume Made heels that was given to me from a fan was set aside with it. I also set the undergarments before the blazer. 

The blue stones were set on the of the room on top of the poor looking cabinet, making it look like a cute ornament. 

I snooped around the lotus dimensions again, and decided to take out some beauty products along with some bath necessities (soap, shampoo, scrubs, etc..). The products laid on the ground the moment I closed the dimension. I was panting gently, having to snoop around for a few seconds to search the bath necessities.

Catching my breath and deciding to rest for a bit, did I then went and put the products on the cabinet that held most of the rug like clothes that I wear. Moments like these made me thankful that I have the lotus dimensions, the ability is too cheat like that I can't help but grin as I aligned the unopened products.

It would be a pain if a modern person would go a day without these necessary stuff. Imagine going a day without washing your hair or using a soap. I can't help but giggle at my huge advantage. A true business woman takes advantage of everything. Who can blame me, I'm only doing what any normal person would've done.
