Chapter Seven- Wow! Mirror selfs?

After the month, the outsiders' powers were to be awakened by their various guardians.

In the school, all students are required to have a guardian, either from home (nobles), or assigned (some other nobles and the outsiders).

Both noble and Outsider could only have one guardian except on very special cases.

Each guardian were to awaken the outsiders powers, the nobles were already awakened unless they were to be awakened late due to certain reasons;

That noble was to be secretly awakened by both his/her guardian and the principal.

People were awakened in secret to avoid bullying or ridicule if that person had a weak power, until it couldn't be hidden anymore.

To avoid bullying of both nobles and outsiders, especially the latter, all first and second year students were forbidden to use powers in school premises, only during practice which happened in the ILMC though.

Only in third year were students allowed to use their powers under special rules.

Min was excited and curious what her power would be and Mrs. Kyu guessed it would be associated with yin, based on min's attitude.

Powers affected a person's attitude to a certain extent, that was why people with yin based powers had a cool to cold personality while yang based ones were either hot heads or had a sunny personality and min was sooooo not in that group, her aura had a desolate feel around it associated with yin.

The orb was placed on a stand and kept on the table of a totally hidden room min didn't even know existed.

"Place your hands on the Orb" Mrs. Kyu ordered min and min obeyed solemnly just like the atmosphere.

Min placed her hands on the orb for three minutes, then awkwardly glanced at Mrs. Kyu with an eye and caught her stifling a laugh.

Min: Great, now am a joke.

"Pfft-, (coughs), Place your hands on the orb and imagine that you want to see your powers, the instant you see your powers just imagine you want to absorb them and after that the very same way you entered you'll be automatically ejected out of the orbs, simple as that, you've awakened.

But be careful, don't lose yourself to your powers in there, once you feel like you've reached your limit, eject instantly, this means that the power is too much for your body now, which means you'll have to be reawakened later on when your body is strong enough.

If you fail to leave instantly, I'll have to pull you out since, although with a risk of hurting you, far better since if I don't, instead of controlling your powers, it'll control you. This should give me the signal" (Looks at a necklace and puts it on min's neck).

'This was the start of my failure to Saro-chan, I'll definitely not let it happen to you min'

Min nods in agreement and places hands on orb and does as told….., pretty soon she sees herself in a dark area, it was thick black that min couldn't even see her own hands.

Min: Oi, why does this have a horror setting? Is it because I like horror a bit too much? ఠ _ ఠ

Min looks around and soon finds something giving off a small light and approaches it, only to see a long mirror.

In a gray colored sofa sat a light-brown haired and eyed girl slouching off on it and had a look more lazier than min ever could make, she looked like she was tired of existence itself;

She lazily turned her head to another girl that looked like she was fixing something, the girl's eyes flashed different colors along with her hair and her eyes gleamed as they looked at whatever she was fixing.

"Sukiru, done?" The brown haired words came out low and slurry like a person awakened from a deep slumber, her words were cut short and she seemed too lazy to complete it, she was also sure that the other was used to it and definitely understood it.

Sukiru's different colored eyes turned indifference after facing away from what she was doing, as if nothing else was worth her attention except what she was doing.

She merely glanced derisively at the very lazy sloth on the sofa and continued her work.

The so-called sloth wasn't affected by her derision, in fact she was already dozing off when a girl with sea green hair and eyes touched her cheeks with a somewhat hot coffee with a straw, the brunette blinked at the newcomer and gave a tiny smile.

"Taida, try to hold yourself hm, here have a coffee made with Shinpi's river and shai's herbs, it will help to keep you awake for a sometime"

"Fine"

Sukiru rolled her eyes at this couple-like besties and did the final adjustment to the thing she was fixing;

Just then, a girl with sky blue hair and eyes flew out and excitedly looked at what sukiru had just finished fixing.

"Kokishin, calm yourself down, you'll soon see it"

A girl with violet hair told the blue haired girl, kokishin pouted, giving the violet haired girl a wronged look which the girl chuckled slightly at, then gave a fond look while shaking her head a bit and left to God knows where.

Kokishin sighed and left where sukiru was and sat on top of the kitchen counter peering at what an ash haired girl with ash eyes was cooking, which made the girl visibly flinch giving off a light shriek, she shyly glanced at the intruder a bit tensed but continued cooking nevertheless.

"Tsk, tsk, always shy, eh shai? even around us, is it only Happi that you're comfortable with?"

The girl with ash hair paused what she was doing and lowered her hair with watery ash eyes, looking like she was about to cry while muttering "I'm sorry"

Kokishin was surprised when Shai started crying, she threw up her hands as if to surrender and flared them helplessly, sweating bullets while saying

"No, no, no, don't be eh… sad, I eh, em, I just meant that you should be more relaxed around us, but it's also okay if you're not, I swear i'm not angry!"

Shai smiled a bit after she learnt kokishin wasn't angry at her, she had always been very tense around kokishi and the rest and she felt bad but couldn't stop it,

It was a psychological reaction after THEY did THAT to her, even though these people were her friends she had lived with for centuries and not those people, she couldn't help but be a bit tense around them.

She was only relaxed when with Happi because she was the only one who helped her during that time, although that made Happi get punished along with her which led them here,

She knew happi will never be annoyed at her or regret her for putting her in this situation but she couldn't help but feel guilty for dragging happi into her mess, thinking of this made tears well up in her eyes again.

Kokishin was really freaking out, especially when she saw that her consolation only worked for less than a minute.

Shai and happi were regarded as the babies of the house and she wasn't ready for sekininsha to yell on her head, she cursed at herself for forgetting how fragile shai became after that incident, even worse than an egg.

But before Kokishin could continue freaking out, a pink haired girl with pink eyes that was surrounded with flowers (metaphorically and physically) appeared out of thin air causing pink smoke to appear in the air.

Her eyes were sparkling like stars were in them and her presence alone could improve the entire mood of a place.

"Shai! Why are you all sad again? Don't you know that SHE is coming?!"

The pinky spinned in excitement.

"I've missed her so so so so so much! And she's finally coming. I'm gonna give her the big hug she deserves, she always looks so lonely these days, how sad.

Anyway, I got a 'Mood change' flower to add in the food, so that she'll stop feeling so sad! Isn't that great? Right kokishin?"

Turns to an empty space were kokishin was standing before

"Eh? Kokish..?"

Kokishin had quietly slinked away during happi's chattering to avoid disturbing the fragile ash rose.

Shai stared at happi for a while and brightened up seeing how happy she was (as always), even if happi was secretly annoyed with her as far as she could make her always joyful she was glad.

And so she smiled at happi who smiled back and they both made the meal with a merry atmosphere, with happi helping shai prepare the ingredients.

Few minutes later, the meal was done and Happi went to fix the table and set up the meal there.

A platinum blonde girl with milk colored eyes came in, dragging along another one with short maroon and untamed hair whose eyes looked reluctant to go wherever she was being dragged to,

But beneath those eyes were a whole new look that screamed of someone that loved madness and destruction.

"Musekinin! Your punishment is to fix the table or I won't forgive you this time!"

"But Mama~, can't you just spare me this last time? I'm not really meant for fixing and you know it"

"No! Arrange the table and set the plates for the meal or forget it!"

"But mama~~~"

"Sekininsha, are you stupid?, or what? Telling this bull to fix a table for you, she'll probably smash it and we'll have to deal with shai's annoying whimpers and THAT idiot will have to wait even longer"

A girl with hot pink hair and eyes and a very lofty look harshly reprimanded Sekininsha who only glared at her.

But after considering it without the initial annoyance, figured that her request was really stupid,

Knowing that even without wanting, doing minor things could trigger musekinin's powers since just like her, her powers were unpredictably destructive.

Annoyed that her punishment was stopped just like that, she only 'hmphed' at musekinin and went along to help shai and happi completely ignoring musekinin who was coquettishly calling her 'Mama~'

So as to make her forgive her.

'Hmph! Like I would, you'll just repeat it again when you're bored'.

*********************************************************************************************************

After laying out the meal on the table, Happi excitedly left to call all of her other friends together to finally meet 'her' and in a minute they all arrived.

A girl with spring green hair (let down) and spring green eyes with a completely emotionless look of indifference that looked down on everything, intentionally or not, as if nothing was worth her interest, whatsoever it was.

Her eyes were profound, giving off the feeling that the knowledge in them was unfathomable.

She glanced at all the girls in front of her who looked back at her with different expressions and the others that was waiting for them to bring 'her' here, and said with an emotionless almost robotic like tenor voice said—

"Let's go"

She snapped her fingers and a portal appeared. If you looked inside you would see a figure staring at it from different angles like a photographer trying to find the right position to take a picture. Some of the girls entered the portal.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Min had been in this dark room with a long mirror for a while now glared at the mirror resentfully and you could visibly see the annoyance and tiredness in her face.

She had entered here with the excitement of a kid getting a new gift from Santa Clause and ended up with the pure frustration of seeing the box but not being able to do anything to it, not even touch it!

The cursed wretch of a mirror was like it was placed there to mock her!

Musekinin who placed the mirror: hehe~

She saw herself in the mirror with the same face, figure, everything, even her lips were still very red.

The only difference was the hair and eyes color coupled with the change of expressions, not to mention the feeling they gave off as totally different people from her.

She tried to touch the mirror but her hands went straight through it to the other dark side.

In the end she was right, it was a fucking horror setting! Wasn't this meant to be fantasy? Or is it Dark fantasy? Whatever it was and whoever that was doing this to her….. FUCK YOU!

After a long time of staring at herself in the mirror, she figured she might as well try to check if there was any clue she was missing out on or something.

She was still checking the mirror out in different directions when it started glowing grey and black and the glow formed a spherical shape.

Min took three steps back, just to be safe, she doubted her own mind would harm her but in any way but she was still in the magic word with so many unusual happenings and it was better to be safe than sorry.

A group of girls came out, they were about seven in number and they all looked at Min with different expressions.

Min stared dumbfounded, the fact that a group of girls suddenly bolted out of nowhere in her mind wasn't shocking enough but the fact they were exactly like the one in the mirrors!

With the same expressions, although not exactly, more or less the same!

In her shock she subconsciously took a step back, staring with wide eyes at this group that suddenly came out.

She was so surprised that she ignored the tingly feeling that enveloped her heart and soul for a moment, as if she had found something she had been looking for, for a long time.

Her eyes also flashed and the previous detached look turned to that of liveliness and excitement.

And although she didn't notice this another person did.

Atama-I looked at the girl whose eyes got back the previous light it seemed to have lost, this one was even worse than the former one and atama-I couldn't help thinking

'Although we ruined your life, you still kept us in the depths of your heart and soul, refusing to forget us and treating us as the sole purpose of your existence, you know that not all of us have pure reasons for being with you like happy, only using you but you still cling to us,

Oh Saku Arakan, Is this price worth it? Is it really worth it to give up everything and pay such a hefty price, hurting yourself emotionally and psychologically even if this companionship isn't equitable?

What foolishness, No matter how much knowledge I get, I see no logic whatsoever in your value of comradeship so much, No matter what, it is the choice you've made, be prepared to suffer the consequences of this choice'

Atama-I gave a tiny smile to min and greeted min while bowing slightly

"Hello, I'm Atama-I, nice to meet you"

Min only stared dumbly while thinking----

'This..., are those mirror images of me?!'
