Poor Elisa/ Men in the dark...

"What am I supposed to do? How am I supposed to keep this out?"

Elisa was standing by the door, her back to the office space. It seemed as though there was someone by the door in the hallway.

"How am I supposed to keep this going? I don't want to run mad... I am sane. I'm okay..."

She kept saying to herself. She looked stressed and her face pale. She looked like someone who had been bawling her eyes out since several days.

"Where is he? Where the fuck did he disappear to? How could he just leave me to worry about all of this?"

She complained bitterly, wishing she could exert her rage on something or someone.

"Why are you so obstinate, Elisa?"

A sudden but familiar voice came from behind her. It was thick and airy, yet sent chills down her spines. She felt too cold to turn at the first instance. It was as though she had lost every will to move her body. It was strange.
