Ruthless

In a shabby and tattered place, there was a male lying and groaning in pain.

He had a plain but attractive face, his eyes with light flickering gave people a deep impression of him.

But now he was lying on the ground in agony. He was full of bruises and stains. He was covered with blood.

"Ouch! those fuckers really went overboard this time. This hurts but not only did they hit me in vital places like the throat and solar plexus, they even took my remaining 80 immortal stones. If this goes on I won't be able to pay my rent."

Nath Hua thought while being enraged.

Nath Hua's situation was getting worse, he could not even cultivate. First of all, he had an average talent and it would take him at least 50 years to reach rank 1 cultivation.

If he was still a young master of his clan, he would be able to reach rank 1 semi-immortal faster with various immortal methods.

Fate liked to play jokes on people. His clan was destroyed by the scheme of other greedy hyenas.

When Nath Hua thought of it he could not help but feel dejected, it was completely normal.

Nath Hua was a young master of the clan so he thought about different situations and was well aware that strength is the foundation to live and conquer.

His father would always tell him that a man with weakness is destined to live life under others but despite that, it's better to be a man with weakness than to be a man with no weakness having no morals.

Right now Nath Hua was a man with weakness, his fate was to eventually be suppressed by others. He was deeply affected by the beating, he was deeply dejected, and he was extremely furious.

He had hatred toward himself for not having strength, he was angry toward the guys who beat him to a pulp. He was furious toward his talent and he was furious toward his current self.

He was furious toward the world but he was more furious toward himself.

He wanted to stop and die right now, he wanted to stop. He wanted to imagine that he would wake up from this nightmare.

He had no one to rely on and naturally no one helped him.

The world, the essence of the world was ruthless.

It was ruthless toward itself, it was ruthless with every being and it was ruthless toward immortals.

Heaven wanted everyone under it.  Heaven, heavenly fate, and heavenly tribulation.

Three biggest challenges faced by immortals. Heaven and heavenly tribulation existed, but no one knew about heavenly fate, many considered it to be a myth while many did not want to believe in it.

But whatever they did, they blamed or hated fate. Life is fate itself, living is fate itself.

Every action from living to the non-living to the myriad dao was fate itself. This was written in the cultivating manual itself that Nath Hua was cultivating.

It was the basic principle of defying heaven. It was defying heaven the grand fate itself.

Nath Hua could not understand the profoundness but he still felt awe when reading this.

Nath Hua realized that blaming himself would only waste time, he had to take revenge for his clan and he had to take revenge for being humiliated so he started to cultivate.

Immortal cultivation needed immortal consciousness as the foundation and immortal consciousness needed immortal essence to sustain itself.

Immortal essence would be produced naturally in a certain amount at a certain amount of time.

There was another way to replenish immortal essence and it was absorbing immortal stones.

Before reaching rank-3 and becoming quasi-Immortals could not produce immortal essence. Even if they had immortal consciousness they would not be able to produce immortal essence and it was explained easily.

Up to rank 3, they were false immortal in cultivation, they could not produce immortal essence but after they reach rank 4 they become immortal being able to produce immortal essence.

The difference and strength gap between rank 1 and rank 2 and rank 3 was very high but the difference after rank 4 was like heaven and earth.

There were no methods to surpass this realm of gap and overcome this, It was the heavenly rule, the heavenly path.

Before rank 4, others could only sustain themself by relying on immortal stones. This was one of the reasons why immortal stones were worldwide current accepted.

Similarly, one realm had sub realms where every realm had 3 stages and they were:

Minimum tier, upper tier, and extreme tier. Rank 1 was divided into a minimum tier, upper-tier, and extreme tier and every other rank followed it.

After understanding this, Nath Hua understood the difficulties of cultivation but he already knew this superficial knowledge.

Nath Hua had already mentally prepared himself. With his current pace, it would be hard to even reach rank 1, forget about the revenge he could not even survive this place.

But even so, Nath Hua had not given up he still had hope. To walk on his journey and to achieve his revenge Nath Hua had his hope.

Going back in the time,

Suma Hua looked at Nath Hua deeply with a solemn expression and spoke

"Nath, today our clan may perish by this scheme but even if it falls so what? with our Hua clan's will it is bound to rise again, and as you being my son ill intrust you our clan's inheritance.

Even though you can't take the immortal resources to develop, you as my son will reach a new height unless you have an average talent. Even if you do have average talent, with our clan's inheritance you will be able to develop. We can't do anything about bad talent but with enough time you will become strong from this immortal inheritance."

Saying this he looked at Nath Hua and spoke in a low but clear voice,

"Nath you won't remember this now but after you start to cultivate you will remember the inheritance portion by portion, I arranged it like this because they will naturally read your memory. You are a mortal so you can't retaliate but don't worry."

After that Nath's vision ended.

He only remembered this part after he started to use immortal stones and slowly focus his consciousness.

He obtained a portion of his inheritance, it was one-fifth of the inheritance. It was like it was specially developed for him considering his current situation.

Immortals had many ways that mortals did not know.

Nath Hua found many ways to fasten his way to become rank 1 immortal. Even if there were various methods, they needed a huge amount of immortal stones and resources which he clearly did not have.

There were few ways to improve his situation but it only helped him to reach rank 1 in 40 years.

It only helped him cultivate 10 years faster but it was already a huge boost.

Nath Hua paid 10 immortal stones as rent and the other 10 immortal stones he hid them while he gave 80 immortal stones to rank 1 seniors.

Nath knew that just like Xing ling his turn would also come so he hid 10 immortal stones and lied about using them to cultivate already.

Of course, they had no choice but to believe it. If rank one seniors were here then they would find out it was a lie with their experience but they did not bother with minor characters like Nath.

The people who came to collect immortal stones were all mostly new members that came along with Nath.

Immortal disciples were collected every 50 years. 50 years were too short for immortals but were only long for mortals as 100 was their maximum lifespan.

Nath Hua thought for a while and immediately thought that he could not always lie and he would be found out, he needed something to do.

He had to hand over the immortal stones or he would be killed. He would not be killed because he would get 100 immortal stones every month so it was like farming while plundering the immortal stones was like harvesting.

This was also a tactic from the elders of the sect to sustain these new disciples. Most of the old disciples were either dead or were rank 1 or some even rank 2. Rank 2 was from the older generation. After reaching rank 3 they would have qualifications to go to other areas.

Nath Hua's inheritance was at least ranked 5 level inheritance according to his clan's status so he had the fortune but even if he had the fortune so what?

If one could not utilize their opportunity it was their own fault.

Nath Hua was truly incapable of it.

It was like a baby using a sword but even so, Nath Hua had to take revenge for his clan and rebuild his clan so his determination rose.

He was naive but he was not stupid. He was quite smart but he was still naive.

He needed more work in this aspect.
