[Chapter 01: The First Domination]

Ahh, hello! My name is Rey and I'm 28 years old guy who was once looking for a job when I was living on earth. But.. I died because of saving a girl who was being abducted in a broad daylight.

The abductor shot me in the middle of my heart and was on the verge of losing my consciousness. But then, I felt some kind of relief as I close my eyes.

"Rey, because you have a heroic heart, I will give you a chance to live again. This is a world where magic, mythical creatures, and various kinds of species exist. You may live your life as a normal being or dominate the entire world at your discretion, but remember this; If you die, you may not be able to live again and will be sent into the afterworld. So you must cherish your life as much as you can." 

Rey struggled to open his eyes and eventually catch a view of where he was. "So that wasn't a dream.." He said.

"Hm, why do I feel like my body were not mine at all?" He asked to himself and finally saw his whole body.

"W-What are you?" Rey saw a green little skinny monster in front of him after looking down onto his body.

“Hallucination, yeah, it must be hallucinations!” He asked himself and tried to close his eyes again and counted to three.

"I will open my eyes again, okay? 1.. 2... 3..." Rey opened his two eyes and finally get a glimpse of his body.

"So this was my body after all.." He said and chuckled.

"If this is what they call fantasy world, then there should be a system bar, right?" 

"Status bar open! Eh? Menu open!  What? Um, Open sesame!..... What~! There's no progress bar?"

>Progress Bar Opened<

A transparent bar suddenly popped up in front of Rey where every detail about him could be seen.

"Ohh.. So the command word was progress bar."  

After seeing his progress bar he immediately analyzed everything concerning to him. "Yes, my name is Rey, correct. Ahh-uhh, Species, goblin. Abilities, Domination? Status are okay, good enough for a small goblin." 

"Is there any weapon I can use to protect myself? At least a sword or maybe a wooden pointed sword. Nothing? Wait what's that? Who's there? Dhow yourself!"

As he was dilly-dallying, a very ferocious wolf suddenly walked in front of him while releasing it's killing intent.

"Wait, wait, wait! I'm not ready for this ya know? A wolf on my first day? Noo! Are you kidding me?"

Rey who saw the wolf slowly advancing towards him suddenly run while looking for something that he could use to attack the wolf. And luckily, he found a sharp rock.

He yelled at the wolf in a threatening tone, and the creature took a step back.

The wolf eventually lost his composure and he took the chance to finally struck its head which resulted to the wolf being dead without even being able to fight back.

"I-It's dead?" Rey asked.

"Well, if I killed a wolf then there should be at least an EXP, right?" Rey checked his progress bar and saw an icon that correspond to his evolution.

[EVOLUTION: 58%]

"Evolution? will I become a hobgoblin or ogre or something?"

The night slowly passed by, and Rey started to gather everything that he needs for making a temporary shelter to spend the entire night. 

He came upon a bear with a serious wound on its leg while looking for food and noticed a Dominate utton on the bear as he walked towards it.

([YES]/NO)

I'm Rey, and right now I'm in the middle of the forest. I'm homesick, but for some reason, I'm more interested in this second life of mine.

2nd day

After I woke up, I saw the bear running around me like it was asking for something. 

I named him Khufra and his aura suddenly emitted a very warm intent as if he was evolving or something. 

After two hours of waiting, Khufra transformed into a Horned Bear.

Name :Khufra

Class: Horned Bear

Process of Evolution: 0%

Abilities: Berserk.

STATUSS: STRENGTH: 50, AGILITY: 25, INNERGY: 100

As he was checking his status, he saw an ability "Berserk,” A skill that rapidly increases the strength of the user by two-fold for two minutes.

Rey noticed that he also gained a new skill and surprisingly, it was also Berserk. He tried to analyze everything but couldn't figure out how he acquired that ability. Just after a while, Rey heard a voice that was calling him master.

"Well, master, it's because of your domination skill."

"Kkyyaahh! W-Who's speaking, show yourself!"

"Master don't panic, this is khufra, the bear."

"Ohh, sorry. W-What? You can speak? But how in the world is that possible? Well, I am in a fantasy world so I think it's possible?"

"After being named, I suddenly learned your language and was finally able to converse with you."

"Ahh, is that how it is?"

"Yes, Master."

They talked about a lot of things and suddenly felt hungry.

"Khufra, you know how to hunt?" Rey asked.

"Khufra does know how to hunt."

"Then, should we go hunt?" 

After an hour of looking, They came upon a boar which has two big horns and two pointed fangs and since it has a lot of meat, both of them waited till the boar busy itself.

The boar finally fell asleep.

The two took the opportunity to sneak attatk, but when they were on the verge of striking it, the boar's eyes opened and menacingly roared at them.

They both have lost their capability to move, even their stats decreased as if its roar has a debuff skill.

Rey checked his progress bar and saw an icon that correspond to an ongoing debuff skill.

The boar rushed toward them like ravaging anything it sees, whist the debuff skill that the boar cast has been fully lifted. Khufra who have also a strength of a boar fought him by pushing each other, and while they were at it, Rey used his stone knife that he has crafted and struck the head of the boar. But in an unexpected turn of event, the boar didn't receive any damage as because it used a skill that hardened some part of his body.

Both of them doesn't stand a chance against the boar and decided to flee.

They run as fast as they could and finally escaped from the ravaging boar.

Day 3

The two tried to hunt again but this time, they only hunt those small monsters and low levels, such as plant-walker, snakes, and wolves.

They hunt and hunt and hunt until day 15 eventually passed. Their stats rose drastically, even Rey, a small goblin now have some muscles as if he have already become a Hob-Goblin.

He also learned the utilization of his innergy. By gathering innergy onto his weapon or any part of his body, it would undoubtedly gained extra strength or damage when augmented to a weapon.

He also learn how to craft some armors made from many monsters that they had killed till now, and after that, both of them started to find the traces of the boar to take revenge.

After several hours of tracing, they found out that the boar was battling with another monsters. A horde of wolves, and as usual that boar won. Vy only ravaging the horde forward, the wolves were pushed away and died after being struck by the two pointed horns of the boar. 

The two planned to attack again since that boar was tired because of the fight earlier. This time, they didn't sneak but showed themselves and invited the boar to fight them head-on. They just felt like sneaking behind him again will be a pathetic strategy for them.

The horned boar rushed toward the two, and his footsteps made the ground tremble. They fought the boar head-on, pushing it with all their might.

They both used their berserk skill, which enhanced their strength. The boar that had bullied the two since day 2 has been forced away and is half-conscious. As a result, the boar has lost his capacity to utilize any skill, such as hardening his body. Rey concentrated all of his remaining innergy on the stone knife and dashed forward to the boar, sliding through its abdomen and striking him upward. The boar who has a strength of a C-Rank has been finally killed by the two.

"Ah-Ugh.. K-khufra I can't breathe, move this gigantic boar, please!"

"Tonight, we will eat meat!"

While they were eating, Rey asked khufra if he knows any village or a city nearby.

"Khufra is in fact familiar with some of the villages in this area."

"Then we will go to the nearest village tomorrow."

The 16th day has passed and it's time for the two to depart.

While they were walking, Khufra saw Rey slowly losing his composure because of the long journey.

"Master, you can ride at my back, you know?"

"A-Are you sure?"

"Yes, Khufra is strong enough, don't worry!"

"Well then, Khufra, I'm in your care~”

Five hours passed, and the two finally arrived on the first village that Khufra mentioned.

A village of goblin with a Magi-Goblin as their chief.

Rey tried to communicate with one of the goblins outside the village, but there was a problem.

“Sidmsidhwbskwiw!” Goblins speaking.

"I can't understand their language at all, are they even speaking a language though?" Rey murmured inwardly.

Rey asked Khufra if he could understand the goblin and thankfully, he can comprehend every word that the goblins was speaking.

"That goblin asked on what village does master rule over, and why has master come here?"

"Ohh, then please tell them that I want to talk to their chieftain and of course I don't want any bloodshed to occur."

“Akusfvckujabtch” Goblins speaking.

"Master, that goblin said to follow them."

..

They followed the goblins and finally arrived to a hideous wooden house next to a tree.

"Are you the chief of this small village?"

"Yes, I am, and why does a hobgoblin come to this place? Do you also want to fight me and rule over this village? You really are bold for a hob-goblin!"

Note: Rey was only a first-stage Goblin, but his appearance had been buffed to that of a hob-goblin due to their nonstop hunting for the past 15 days.

“O-Ohh he sure understand me now..”

"Take this you hobgoblin!"

“A-Ahh?”

The mage goblin began to chant a skill called, >Cursed Arrow< With a five-second chanting time. 

[Berserk] Want to use the berserk skill? ([Yes]/No) 

Rey's stats began to increase by 20% as he used berserk. He swiftly avoided the incoming attack as he rushed toward the said goblin.

He used the hilt of his stone knife and strucked the goblin sideward that ended the fight without the magi goblin having to fight back.

The domination button appeared again.

 Use [Dominate] skill? ([Yes]/No)

"Domination can be used if the enemy suffers a fatal wound, now that I think about it?"

[Acquired Ability: Affinity to curse element.]

WAIT? THIS WARM FEELING! ALL MY INNERGY INSIDE MY BODY BEGAN TO CIRCULATE AT A FASTEST RATE, AS IF I WAS BEING REBORN!  IS THIS WHAT THEY CALL THE EVOLUTION PROCESS? 

Rey's physique became massive and grew short black hair after two hours of evolution. His skin color did not change, but his voice became deep, and his teeth grew large two fangs.

Note: Rey was promoted directly to ogre because his strength already surpasses a normal hob-goblin.

"What's your name, Magi-goblin?" Rey asked. Looking at the green magi-goblin.

"Goblu was the name given to me by my predecessor."

"Okay, Goblu, could you tell me everything about this village?"

"This village has three predecessors and has been in existence for over 500 years. We goblins have survived so long because we are skilled at mining for materials, and other village representatives come here every year to trade for the materials that we mined. We accept food in exchange for the materials we extracted. But it wasn't easy because we'd been targeted by many, and the Lizardmen were the only ones who followed our trading rules."

"Can you take me to the aforementioned mining area?" Asked, Rey.

"Goblu will take you to the mining area right away!" He turned around after he spoke.

"Don't follow us, Khufra. Simply stay here and protect this area for me."

"Khufra will do everything in his power to safeguard this place!" Khufra began to show his dominant side that even the goblins who were left behind were frightened and is trying to avert their eyes from him.

>Mining Zone<

"This, Master, is our mining area, which has existed for almost a century." Goblu looked at the sides of the mining area as he spoke.

"Not bad, this mining area has a lot of materials, and I'm sure it will attract a lot of monsters. Now that I think about it, what kind of materials did you trade?"

"We exchanged inner-gy rock for food master."

"Can you then explain why this iron and steel haven't been mined?"

"It's because inner-gy rock has become a form of currency in every village and cities. As for the iron and steel, we don't know how we can use this."
