Aleric entered the council room and they were already waiting for him. Young Brom was already seated too, he frowned as he didn't see his sister beside Aleric. Aleric walked up and stood in the middle, everyone looked at Aleric waiting to hear what he has to say.

So the lord of Naria has the same position as the lord of Warkinles except the Lord has other ranks. For instance, Enzo is not only the lord of Warkinles but also the right hand of the king and the first general. So it made his status higher than the lord of Naria but his position as the right hand of the king and first general doesn't extend to his offspring. So, Aleric's status is only the young Lord of Warkinles, and as such Young Brom is of higher status than him right now.
