The Next day,

[7:00 A.M],

Medical Department,

Bureau of Exorcism HQ.

The departure was filled with all sorts of heavy medical equipment’s and personnel’s, all dressed in white lab robes. In one of the wards, a young male could be seen presently on life support. By his side was Adam, who was staring solemnly at him.

“Wake up!” Adam said, frowning furiously.

Suddenly, someone walked into the ward. Judging by the white attire the person wore, one could tell he was a doctor.

“It’s you Doctor Francis” Adam said.

“Adam, you’re back” Francis commented in awe. “You were here all night” He added.

“Don’t worry about me, what’s your report?” Adam asked in his usual manner.

“Well, the only good news I can give you is that, he’s alive” Francis said, shaking his head in disappointment.

“No improvement” Adam thought to himself, “What about his Mana contamination?” He promptly asked.

“Also about that, we haven’t seen anything like this” Francis frightfully said.

“What do you mean?” Adam curiously inquired.

“His case is really strange. Normally when humans come in contact with Mana, our bodies immediately reacts to it, but that’s not the case here” Francis answered. “Somehow, Mana is accumulating at a single point in his body” He added.

“Seriously!” Adam asked, obviously shocked

“Yes. Even if he’s alive, due to the immense accumulation of Mana in his body, he’ll slowly die” Francis sadly said.

“Isn’t there a way to help him?” Adam curiously inquired, staring solemnly at Francis.

“I’m afraid there’s nothing I can do to help him. All we can hope for is that he wakes up soon” Francis said.

“Alright” Adam said as he shook his head in disappointment. “Have you seen Xavier?” He added.

“No!” Francis promptly answered.

“Hmm, I’ve been trying to call him, but my calls aren’t going through” Adam commented, taking a glance at his watch.

“Awwn, he cares about me” A voice echoed into the room, grabbing both Adam and Francis' attention.

“Xavier, where the hell have you been?” Adam asked, staring at the handsome man who just walked into the Ward.

The handsome man donned a white long sleeve shirt, wearing a black tie with a black colored slim fitted trouser. He had a dark, messy and spiky hair, which danced freely as he moved.

“I’ve been busy” Xavier replied with a cheery smile. He immediately noticed the young male who was on life support. “Is that him?” He inquired.

“Yes!” Adam promptly replied.

“Francis, do you think he’ll actually wake up?” Xavier asked, staring at Francis for answers.

“Honestly, I’m not sure” Francis said.

“Hmm, even if he wakes, he’ll still die eventually” Xavier bluntly said.

“Yes. The Mana trapped inside his body will slowly deteriorate his organs, thereby causing sever internal damage, resulting to death” Francis commented.

“What risk does he pose to unawaken humans?” Adam inquired.

“None, he doesn’t pose any risk to them” Francis answered.

Staring at each other briefly, Adam and Xavier simultaneously yelled “Huh?”.

“I’m being serious. Like I earlier said, the Mana he absorbed, accumulated in a single point in his body. For some reason, it isn’t flowing like it supposed to” Francis commented, after seeing their reaction.

“So, as long as the Mana in his body stays stagnant, he won’t contaminate the unawaken” Adam said.

‘Yes” Francis replied.

“That means there’s nothing to worry about?” Xavier said.

“Yes!” Francis replied.

“That’s perfect!” Xavier excitedly exclaimed, with his hands held up high. “Well then, I’ve got to get going. I have a meeting to attend” He added, slowly exiting the room.

“Wait!” Adam suddenly yelled, halting Xavier instantly.

“What is it?” Xavier asked, staring earnestly.

“I just wanted to ask, what were those things?” Adam furiously said. “I’m sure you felt it too. They weren’t Special grades” He added.

“You’re right, those things aren’t S-grades but something worse” Xavier angrily said.

“Something worse, what can be worse than a Special grade?” Adam asked.

Meanwhile,

Executive’s Hall,

Board of Exorcist,

Bureau of Exorcism HQ.

The Board of Exorcist, a group of elite Exorcist [Tier 5 – 6] who govern the affairs in their specific branches. The Board of the New Chrisland city branch was made up of six Exorcist in total, with three of them being Tier six while the remaining three, being High-level Tier Five.

In the hall, Five people could be seen sitting around a curved table. One chair was empty, signifying that one of them is missing.

“Where the fuck is he?” One of them angrily erupted. Judging from the voice one could tell he was a male. He had a spiky, bright crimson colored hair with mismatched colored eyes, and an extremely handsome face, but compared to Xavier’s, he wasn’t really good looking. He’s left eye had a sulfuric color, while he’s right eye had a bright pink color.

“Jackson, Would you calm down ?” Another person commented. By the voice, it can be easily deduced that the person was a female. She had light chocolate skin with dark, braided hair. Apart from that, she was extremely busty, sexually enticing and exciting any man who stared at her.

“Don’t tell me to calm down Naomi!” Jackson angrily yelled.

“Hmm, you’re so unmannered!” Another female Exorcist commented, staring at Jackson.

Hearing her voice made Jackson to shiver in fright. “I’m really sorry Ms. Elena”.

“Apology accepted” Elena replied. Unlike Naomi, Elena had a fair colored skin and was rather petite. Despite not being as endowed as Naomi, her beauty was unrivaled. Also, with the way Jackson addressed her, one could tell she was in-charge of the entire board.

“But Jackson’s right, Xavier is late!” Someone added. The person had a skull mask on but by the voice, it was obvious that he was a male.

“I know Skrull, he’s always late. I will be forced to sanction him” Elena said, folding her hands in annoyance.

“Don’t worry about Xavier…. He’ll be here..” A female Exorcist said. Unlike Naomi and Elena, her voice resembled that of a little girl. She had a really small body build, making her resemble an adolescent female.

“Jade, why do you always support him?” Naomi asked.

“Isn’t it obvious? He’s really cool and strong” Jade lazily commented. She had a long, messy, blonde hair and always wore a lazy expression. Despite that, she was also cute and pretty.

“And so?” Naomi rudely said.

“When you’re cool and strong as Xavier, you can do what ever you want!” Jade slowly replied.

“That’s right Jade!” Xavier’s voice echoed, gravely shocking everyone. Suddenly, Xavier appeared out of thin air, wearing a sadistic grin.

Seeing her apparent mentor, Jade shrieked with joy, “Yeah, Xavier’s here!” She said wearing a cheery smile.

“Speak of the devil, where the hell have you been?” Elena furiously inquired.

“Been attending to unfinished business” Xavier said, taking his seat which happened to be by Jade. “How are you Jade?” He asked with a smile.

“I’m fine” She answered in her usual manner.

“That’s good” He said.

“Excuse me, let’s get straight to business” Elena said.

“Okay Ma’am!” Xavier said.

“Good, We all know why I called this impromptu meeting. It’s because of yesterday’s incident” Elena calmly said, staring at her Executives.

“Two alleged S-Grades were spotted at Abandoned Sector 5, but we all know what they were” She added.

“Colossal Grades!” Xavier furiously said.

“Yes!” Elena confirmed.

“How are we sure they were Colossal?” Skrull asked.

“Yeah, No one has ever encountered a Colossal and besides, isn’t their existence still a hypothesis” Jackson added.

“A hypothesis that just became Reality. You all felt those things, they’re real and they’re out there” Elena said, staring at Jackson.

“We need to involve the other branches. If we really have Colossal Grades knocking on our door steps, we’re all doomed” Naomi said.

“Nope, not me and Jade!” Xavier casually said.

“Alright we get it Xavier. Both you and Jade are High-level Tier Six, what about the others. What about the ordinary Civilians we protect” Elena asked, slowly getting infuriated.

Elena was actually a Mid-level Tier Six while, Skrull, Naomi and Jackson were all High-level Tier Five.

“I’ve already thought about it. I and my crew are going to take care of this mess” Xavier proudly said.

“Phew…alright, if you say so!” Elena said, cooling her temper.

“What about that boy?” Skrull suddenly exclaimed.

“Yes, it was Adam that brought him in!” Jackson said.

Xavier confusedly stared at Jackson and Skrull, wondering what they were up to “Yeah, what about him?”.

“I heard he’s contaminated with Mana” Jackson said.

“But he isn’t dead” Elena commented, glaring at Jackson.

“He’s contaminated, so it doesn’t matter if he’s alive or not. He is a hazard to the civilians” Naomi said.

“I had a little chat with Doctor Francis. He said, despite being contaminated, he is perfectly fine and not contagious” Xavier said.

“Bullshit” Jackson exclaimed.

“Rubbish, we have to exterminate him before he infects the unawaken humans” Skrull indifferently said.

Hearing Skrull’s words, Xavier’s smile slowly turned upside down, as he wickedly glared at Skrull. “We’re here to protect lives not take ‘em and beside I told you he’s not contagious” He angrily erupted.

“Xavier, we can’t be too sure about this” Elena said.

“If anyone of you lay a finger on that boy, I swear, I’m gonna kill you” Xavier said, angrily exiting the room.

“Wait!” Elena exclaimed, causing Xavier to momentarily halt his movement.

“What!” Xavier rudely said, turning his attention towards her.

“We’re not going to interfere in any matter that has to do with that boy, on one condition¡” Elena said, glaring furiously at Xavier.

“What condition?” Xavier curiously inquired.

“Anything that happens, you’re going to be held responsible” Elena said.

“Gladly!” Xavier replied, promptly exiting the room.

Weeks Later,

Medical Department,

Bureau of Exorcism.

Dr. Francis was seen in his usual Ward, examining the youth that Adam rescued weeks ago, who was still on life support.

“I hope he wakes up soon!” Francis thought to himself as he slowly walked out of the room.

Before Francis could exit the room, he noticed something strange. He suddenly sensed an immense surge of Negative energy, which instantly froze him in place.

“What the hell is this?” Francis worriedly said, trying to turn around.

“Huh….. Where.. am.. I!”
