Chapter 09 | Little Creature

"Father's nutmeg is bald." Dyra made fun of his father who was still faithfully stroking his bald head.

"It's a joke, kid," said his father, looking at his daughter sarcastically until Dyra burst out laughing.

"Not kidding, Dad. Dyra is telling the truth."

"You are so sinful." Her mother's fist landed smoothly right on Dyra's forehead.

The girl groaned in pain, even though her mother's gesture only gently used affection. Her name is also Dyra, she is always good at drama.

"Halih, ma'am. Already, Dyra is going to sleep."

His eyes began to close, leading him to the gate of a dream. He drifted into the vast island until he was pulled over in an unknown area.

Dyra looked around not knowing where to go. The place he had just stepped on led himself to the edge of the ocean.

No. He was actually not in the vast ocean as imagined. In fact, Dyra was trapped in a glass filled with clear water.

"Where am I?" he asked, his eyes combing around.

Around him a glass insulated him so he didn't come into direct contact with the air. Then why did it happen? Once he realized his current condition, his body was so small as bacteria that most people couldn't see. How could he have transformed into something like that?

From outside came the sound of humans talking to each other. Dyra is still human, right? Will they help him because fellow human beings must help each other?

"Help! Help me!" Dyra shouted, his voice lost by the wind that gently blew the dry leaves in any direction.

His pleas for help were never heeded. Even though his voice almost resembles a toa, the volume is loud and loud. How could they not hear it?

Dyra was in the crowd, but they couldn't see his figure.

The appearance of those people wearing white coats, seemed to be making observations on some chemicals next to Dyra.

What if the liquid is mixed in the glass in which it resides. His life must have been lost as soon as the chemical reacted with a booming sound.

"No! I don't want to! Whoever you are, help me!" Dyra knocked on the glass a few times, but his strength was in vain. His hand was too weak to be able to knock it so hard that it didn't make any sound.

They started to make observations. In front of Dyra there is a man who is standing looking at him behind the glass.

Several times Dyra waved, hoping if the man could see it. However, it seemed like a dream.

The charcoal black haired man ignored Dyra's presence. His hands deftly took a small tube filled with a liquid chemical substance, he also looked at it carefully.

Dyra began to fear, if only the liquid was poured into his glass. So, his life could not be saved.

He resigned himself to his fate somehow. However, in fact the small tube was stored again as soon as his friends left the lab room.

The man wearing the mask grabbed the magnifying glass, then his eyes traced the glass where Dyra was.

"What is that?" he asked quietly, to whom.

Dyra waved because he was glad someone could see him. Although his figure is not very clear form.

"Baby fish? Or what?" he asked. He looked back at Dyra's figure in there.

He was already starting to shiver from the cold from spending all his time in the water.

"Help me!" Dyra shouted.

This time, Dyra's voice penetrated through the glass so that it could be heard clearly in both ears of the man.

"Little thing?" he asked quietly. His eyes were perfectly rounded, because during his new study this time he met a liliput.

The man happily took out Dyra from the glass. His brow furrowed when he saw the figure of liliput which he couldn't see clearly.

"Help me to return to my form again." Dyra cupped his hands over his chest. Trying to ask for help, hopefully the man will be kind.

"Who are you?" he asked.

"Don't ask me who I am, because I don't know either." The girl shrugged her shoulders in disbelief.

The masked man again frowned, raising an eyebrow not understanding what Dyra said.

"My name is Dyra. I'm human too," he said, holding out his hand, though the man wouldn't be able to see it because it was too small.

"I'm Anton."

When viewed through a magnifying glass, Dyra's figure will be clearly seen by both eyes. That's why, the man kept holding the glass.

"If you are human, why are you like this?" asked the man curiously.

"I don't know. I just don't know. Even I don't know where I am?"

Anton brought himself closer to the girl. To make it easier for him to communicate, because Dyra's voice was so small it was barely audible. He had to listen to it carefully in order to every word is not missed.

"Then what should I do for help?" he asked.

"Give me back the way I was."

Dyra's desire made him think hard, Anton also did not know how to restore his form.

"I don't know how, Dy. I can assure you, you're a human from another world, right?" he asked.

"Another world? What do you mean, Anton?" Dyra gasped not understanding.

"This world is not where you come from. You are from another world, Dyra."

Dyra's eyes widened, he couldn't think hard how to get back.

"Can you take me home?" he asked quietly.

"What?"

"Could you take me home, Anton?" Dara repeated her question.

"How can I take you, Dyra?"

Dyra really doesn't know how to turn himself back into a human like before.

The figure of liliput is always stepped on, will never be seen even as if its existence is ignored.

"Should I put this chemical in your glass?" Anton gives advice.

"No! I'm definitely going to die, Anton."

"There's no way that would happen, Dyra. If one of these chemicals reacts. Then, it will make you evolve back to your original form."

"Is that true?" Dyra asked enthusiastically.

Anton smiled faintly. "Would you like to try it?"

Although feeling ambiguous, but finally Dyra nodded weakly. Surrender to the situation, because there is no other choice that can be lived.

Anton began to mix the chemical liquid into the glass Dyra was in. Moments later, the origin rises up into the air.

Dyra was worried about the condition of the smoke rising higher into the air. Likewise, Anton is afraid that his efforts will be in vain.

Brack!

Dyra fell from the ceiling of his room. He rubbed his eyes repeatedly until they turned red, when he looked around he was back in the real world.

"I'm home?"
