Chapter# 13

I leaned in my chamber and stuffed books and notebooks in my backpack. I didn't care what junk I was taking and slammed the locker door shut.

I walked past the hallway, contrary to the overpopulation of thudding shoes everyday, very few people were present due to homecoming. Especially girls. I wasn't facing anyone and tried to finish the day while pretending to be invisible. I don't want to hear Jessica's and Lucy's names.

I walked with my head down but with rotating eyes. I think everyone is talking about me. Everyone knows. I gulped my spit and turned my head up.

Everything felt the same. The Janitor's son got bullied, the same pain in his eyes. The groups were laughing wildly, the same carefree grin in their eyes.

Everything is the same. Everything is normal. Nobody knows.

Nobody...

Suddenly someone whacked a back of hand against my shoulder from behind. I spun and blowed a fist in the face with all waking energy. The person tripped and landed on the arse.

"You?", my voice choked
