" What's wrong with you son? Have you gone crazy? " Suno asked abruptly, fixing Jim with an angry look.

" Dad ! Do you know how Pedro came into our lives? You can't give him a job in the family business like that. I can't accept him." Jim replied violently.

" Put that gun down right now. And let me remind you that I created the family business. So, while I'm still alive, I can hire whoever I want. Don't forget that. " Coldly replied Suno SIMAO who had a trembling voice.

Imaleya's mother, who was silent for a moment, manages to control herself and she walks towards her husband Jim.

" Dear ! Put down that gun. Don't disrespect your father in front of everyone." She whispered into Jim's ears.

Without further ado, Jim SIMAO puts away the revolver.

Indeed, Imaleya's mother was the only person who could control Jim's emotions. She could manipulate him and use him however she wanted. She is a clever woman who knows how to hide her intentions.

 After this scene, they sat down and Imaleya's mother sought to understand the reasons why Pedro had been appointed business advisor to the family business. In response, Suno SIMAO just replied that he knew what he was doing.

“When I watch him, I see something special in him that no one else can understand. In the future, he will be a great man. He is already Imaleya's husband and we have to accept him in the SIMAO family.” Suno said, giving a small smile.

After these explanations, Suno SIMAO invites the whole family to have lunch. Imaleya on her side was silent. She was not happy with Pedro's nomination but she preferred not to give her opinion on it. 

So, after lunch with the family, she stayed in a corner of the house and she was handling her phone. Suno SIMAO who saw it approached her..

"Why are you isolated? Are you better?" he asked tenderly with his voice still shaking.

Imaleya stares at her grandfather and she realizes he wasn't well.

"Grandpa what's wrong with you?" she retorted immediately after noticing her grandfather was out of shape.

“Follow me to my office. I have a confession to make to you.” Added Suno SIMAO

Without further ado, Imaleya and Suno isolated themselves from the others to chat.

••• IN SUNO SIMAO'S OFFICE •••

“I'm old and I'm dying. I would like you to promise me that you won't tell anyone about what I'm going to reveal to you my darling” Suno SIMAO said, leaning on the table in his office.

"What's happening to you grandpa? I swear you're scaring me." Imaleya replied with her fine voice that echoed in Suno's ears.

"In reality, I'm going to die soon. I'm suffering from an incurable disease and the doctors said I won't last more than a year. So my days are numbered my darling." Said Suno SIMAO coughing . A few drops of blood came out of his mouth.

Frightened, Imaleya rushed to give her water and a dish towel. Then they continued their conversations and Suno SIMAO asked Imaleya to be lucid and that she should not follow in the footsteps of her father Jim. 

At the end, Suno SIMAO informed Imaleya that he will come and live with them for a while to get to know son-in-law Pedro better.

"Okay Grandpa. Don't worry. I won't disappoint you." Imaleya replied enthusiastically.

Nevertheless, she had red eyes and a heavy heart. Learning that her grandfather was dying traumatized her. She wanted to cry but Suno SIMAO stopped her.

 After their conversation, Imaleya and her grandfather Suno SIMAO went back to the living room.

"I think we're leaving." Jim said nastily when he saw his father coming.

"Be more docile while talking to grandfather." Imaleya answered.

"Don't worry my darling. Your father has always been arrogant. Besides, I think I'm going to follow you. I'm going to live with you for a few days." Added Suno SIMAO

After this statement from Suno SIMAO, Jim frowned because he didn't want his father to come and live with him but he couldn't refuse him that.

••• LATER •••

They finally left Suno SIMAO's home for Jim's.

However, Imaleya was in her room with her mother Nikita Bellucci. They had a lot to say to each other and besides, Imaleya wanted to know if her mother had come back for good or if she was going to leave again. Meanwhile, Jim was chatting in the office with Pedro.

"I don't know what my father saw in you to give you enough privileges but know that with me your life will always be the same as before. You are still my slave and that will not change." Said Jim scolding Pedro. His red eyes were wide and he was looking at Pedro spitefully.

For his part, Pedro was quiet. After a while, Nikita Bellucci walks into Jim's office.

"Sorry if I'm interrupting you boys." She said simply.

Then she smiles and walks towards Pedro.

"I would like to speak with my husband please. Could you give us a moment?" she added.

"With pleasure ma'am." Pedro answered.

This is how Pedro leaves the office and goes to his room when a female voice calls out to him. This voice was fine and soft as it penetrated Pedro who in turn destabilized for a moment. It was Imaleya. Pedro turns and walks towards her.

“Where are you going?” asked Imaleya abruptly.

"I'm going to bed." Pedro replied enthusiastically.

"My grandfather is in the house and you're going to sleep in another room? He'll be mad if he finds out because we're already married and we're supposed to sleep together. Follow me to my room." Said- her suddenly.

Without further ado, Pedro accompanies Imaleya to her room.

••• INSIDE THE ROOM •••

"Let things be clear between the two of us. I don't love you and I never will. If I took this initiative it's only to appease my grandfather's heart. So don't you dare to treat me like your wife. You must not touch me or sleep with me. You will sleep on the floor and I will sleep on the bed. Is that understood? Imbecile." She said suddenly, frowning.

“Yes, I understood.” Pedro replied simply.

Then Imaleya spits in her face again and she goes to bed. Annoyed, Pedro stayed at the beginning without doing anything.
