Two Opposites Meet I

It was a clear yet cold night in the suburbs of Manhattan. A doorbell rang echoing through the streets. Subtle water puddles indicated that rain or drizzle had fallen prior. The inside of the house was bright through the windows, there were people inside or so the visitor guessed.

There was no moon in this sky and the polluted atmosphere of a metropolis prevented the sight of the stars. No light except for the artificial candles that brightened the streets.

A man with auburn hair and clear glasses looked through the door's spy hole to see a beautiful blonde girl standing outside in a high school uniform and an umbrella. He guessed her identity by her attire alone.

The door opened softly as he smiled in bewilderment and confusion.

“Yes?” He ignored yer young beauty with cautiousness since it was already 10:00 PM. At this time of the day; what guests could they be expecting?
