(OUTSIDE EARTH)

Sophie was in space, outside earth; and her whole body was radiating light; even her face, and hair. She was staring at the Planet Earth, when she heard a voice behind her,

       “goddess of the star”, a male voice spoke from behind

She turned immediately to see a person before her; he was mid-air; putting on a black suit, and black trousers as well; he had black hair, and was also putting on a spectacle. It was Photo Power.

She smirked and spoke, “Bastard son of a god… I feel the blood in you. Son of that copycat who betrayed his people… I suppose you're no different from your father”

       “I see you know my father well enough than I do”, Photo Power replies, “then you must know that I have a connection to the white ring; and I will get it in order to attain full godhood” 

       “You’ll never get it, bastard… I’ll stop you before you even get the chance to”, she was quite confident.

        “Hope you’re not forgetting something…”, Photo Power says, “… I can easily copy your powers, and besides, my father has told me about you”, Photo Power scoffed.

She spun on a spot, and light rays rolled around her, before she flared up white flames; she was ready to fight, but not so dumb to attack all out.

Photo Power also stood right there; expecting an attack from her; he was smiling cause he knew she wouldn’t wanna attack first.

Suddenly, they heard a Boom! Sound and a portal appeared close to them; their attentions were turned towards this green portal. Even if Photo Power didn’t know who or what was coming, Star was very well knowledgeable of what’s next; it could be seen from her expression.

She clenched her fist, while Photo Power on seeing her knew whoever was coming would definitely wield great power too.

A female figure totally filled with green light and flaming green energy came through the portal before it disappeared. Photo Power stares at her in surprise while Star gnashed her teeth with a smile on her face.

This was the same being who was recommended to help The Strange Man.

       “Long time no see, Star”, she said as her eyes were fixed on whom she spoke to.

       “Always a pleasure to see you again…”, Star replied.

This lady smirked and said, “You’re in a human’s body; feeble beings… what do you think you can possibly do in that weak little girl?”

       “And you… young man…” she turned to Photo Power, “… join us and my master l will reward you bountifully… you’ll be a god completely. Just as you wanted. All it takes is to join me in taking down this god in a human body… whatever” 

Photo Power chuckles and said, “Perhaps you don’t know me… I don’t expect you to. I don’t bow to anyone… I rule whichever team I belong to… Just tell me you’re a coward!”

The green lady was infuriated by Photo Power’s last words; something he purposely did so she could attack first and then he’d copy her, he knew Star wouldn’t be so reckless.

She angrily boosted towards Photo Power; speed punching him so hard that he was sent flying distance out of their sight at an impossible speed. She smirked; it was too easy, he’s gone.

       “And for the record, I’m Nebula Crane”, hopefully Photo Power hears that.

She turned back to Star who had been patiently watching, “You think you’re done?”, Star asked

       “With him? Yes… and you’re next, Star”, Nebula said and just as she was about to attack, she heard a voice from behind, 

       “Nebula Crane… right?”

She immediately turned sharply; only to see Photo Power, he heaved a sigh before smiling, she was dumbfounded; utterly surprised as to how he was alive; she wasn’t careful to sense the kind of being he was or was related to.

       “I must say; you’re less smarter compared to Star… and my trick worked just fine… thanks to you, I can now attack both of you without caring whatever you do to me”, he said and Nebula sheesh.

       “White ring… Mimicry”, Nebula exclaimed

Photo Power nodded, then he speed smacked her on the face; pushing her miles away like she was nothing, meanwhile Star stretched her right hand towards him; sending a stellar energy that blasted him backwards, rolling uncontrollably while mid-air. But Star still intercepted him as she grabbed his legs and made a white ball in her hand containing the power of a star; and then smacked it on his chest; causing an explosion, but Nebula came out of nowhere attacking Star as she drove a punch to her face and then the jaw; throwing Star back.

Star thrusts towards her and both began to fly around speedily as they fought, each of their attacks caused destructions to matters around them.

Photo Power came between them suddenly with a sword carved out of light energy, he struck Nebula and Star, but they blocked with their hands, and he was pushed back instead. 

Nebula was interested in taking down Star first, but Star was interested in taking down Photo Power before he gets to copy much of their abilities. 

Nebula and Star began to shoot energy ball constructs at one another, but whichever one they dodged destroyed rocks around. Star yells and as her right hand glowed even more light; she snapped her fingers and then explosions began to occur around Nebula. Explosions of white light which sent lout omnidirectional waves; shaking and destroying everything in its vicinity. 

Nebula had shielded herself with a green force field, but while the explosions still continued, Star’s hands sparkled light, and she darted towards the force field at an immeasurable speed; only to smack it with her hands, and though she was pushed backwards, the force field was shattered too.

Nebula was hurt gravely by this. She fell on one of the rocks, while Star was mid-air coming down towards Nebula slowly.

       “Well done…” she heard Photo Power’s voice, before turning to the direction he was; “I’ve learnt a lot today; more than you showed. Thank You”

       “You…”, she grinned, and was about to power up when Photo Power waves a hand, and disappeared suddenly. 

She turned to Nebula and saw a green portal sucking her away, but as she boosted towards it, the portal had already disappeared, and Nebula was gone too.

       “Photo Power wants the White Ring; he must not get it… and I’m also wanted dead again… I have to head back to Earth and find those affected by the god wave… I keep sensing them… they’re the only ones capable of fighting alongside me”

(EARTH – LONDON)

(HOUSE OF GATES COMPNAY)

On a morning, Mr. Gates, Felicia, Stanley Gregor (Mister Marvel), and Mr. Sherman Stewart were present. Stewart had come from Washington as Mr. Gates asked him to. 

The four were seated and not speaking yet, until Felicia broke the silence, 

     “Mr. Stewart, you said a student of yours in Los Angeles reported a case of some guy who might have something related to this… and they’re not here yet? Why?”

       “They should be here soon”, Stewart replies

       “They are…”, Stanley smiled.

The elevator door dings open, as three people came in, they were; Dr. Trisha Morgan, Mr. Allen, and his son; Robin Allen.

Trisha quickly greeted Stewart while Stanley stood up and immediately walked up to Robin, 

       “You’re the one… the one who was hit… this is interesting”

      “Will my son get better by being here?”, Mr. Allen asked, while Stewart replies, “We promise… he will”

       “I feel a connection between Felicia and…” Stanley pointed at Robin who quickly chipped in, “Robin… that’s my name”

       “What kind of connection?”, Felicia asked eagerly, while Stanley sighs deeply and replied, “What I’m about to say… I’m not sure of it, but it looks like…”

A voice suddenly interrupts, 

       “Mr. Allen was working on a light machine project when the god wave struck him and his son, putting Robin in the situation he is, while the tools of the project disappeared and appeared at Mr. Gates house, then Felicia was affected by the machine plus the god wave… resulting in both of them having similar abilities”

They looked around perplexed as to where the voice came from, then a bright light shone in their midst, as Sophie appeared.

       “You…” Stewart exclaimed, while Robin on seeing her also spoke, “I’ve seen you in my dreams… the star goddess is in you”

Sophie nodded in agreement while Felicia yelled suddenly, “So you’re saying, my mom and brother died because of that stupid project that man was working on?”, she pointed at Mr. Allen, while her father was trying to calm her down.

       “It wasn’t their fault… Robin’s case is worse than yours at the moment”, Mister Marvel said

       “Now I’m beginning to understand this”, Trisha said to Stewart and he only sighs deeply without saying a word.

       “Silence!”, Star yelled, and they all stopped speaking, “We have enemies and they are coming for us… one of them is a group who were at war against the good side; and the war had resulted in the time travelling, barrier shattering… god wave”

       “And the other is Photo Power”, she said.

       “I thought the famous superheroes killed that maniac who wants to be a god”, Trisha said. 

       “Unfortunately, he’s alive, and he’s always been a demigod… he’ll be a god if we’re not careful… and that will be the end of us as you know it” Sophie said.

       “Who’s gonna stop them all?”, Stewart asked, while Sophie smiles and answered, “We will… with or without powers… We will”

Stanley nodded in agreement, “As Rangers of the Galaxy…”

       “So, you’re a goddess controlling a young lady”, Felicia said to Sophie. The latter nods, while Felicia continued, “won’t you leave her body when this is done…? Cause it would be wrong if you stay forever…”

       “I’ll leave if I feel like”, Sophie replies coldly. 

       “Alright… we need to focus on why we’re here”, Stewart said, “There are four people with superpowers, and four without it”

       “What do we do now?”, Mr. Gates asked.

Stanley sighs deeply and answered, “We find them before they find us…”

       “Based on what the Star goddess said, don’t you think we should go after Photo Power first?”, Trisha asked, and they pondered over it for few seconds before Felicia added, “She’s right… if he gets his hand on whatever he’s after, then it’s doom for us, right? So, let’s go get him”

       “We’ve been able to construct some machines… which we can use…”, Mr. Gates was speaking, but was interrupted by Star, “and it needs modifying… I can help with that, and add to it; some important things we’re gonna need”

       “O-okay”, Stewart replied hesitantly.

In a partially dark room; only brightened by the moon which shone through an open window. A green portal appeared with a spark; as Nebula Crane roiled out of it before the portal disappeared. She opened her eyes and gasped for breath; while about to get on her feet, she heard her master’s voice, 

       “STAY DOWN!”

There was rage and anger in his tone; obviously he knew what had happened. 

Nebula dared not get up, so she stayed down, and replied, “My Lord… Have Mercy… I know I have failed you. But I need one more chance, and I will…”

       “QUIET!”, His voice boomed in shunning her, she shivered in fear and widened her eyes; her body wasn’t as bright as it was anymore.

       “Shall I kill you out of anger and later realize I lost an important servant?”, he said, “Killing you would be a disadvantage for me… That’s the reason I’ll spare you for now”

(THE UNDERGROUND FACILITY)

Everyone here was busy with one thing or the other, and Mr. Thomas Pearce was walking alongside three other doctors, heading towards the room where Sophie was once confined with the others; the ‘Psycho Project’ room; as written above the door.

They went in and saw the force field which covered the seven had been shut down, and they were now free, but not yet awake.

They were surprised by this, and one of the doctors quickly rushed to one of them; about to switch on the force field, but the occupant of that bed suddenly grabbed his arm; holding his wrist tightly.
