Aiden walked toward the small pool in front of him... The pool was only a few meters wide but it had a bluish hue to it.

Slowly Aiden stepped into the pool, he had only gone a few steps in and the water was up to his neck.

Suddenly, the grey swirl in his eyes vanished... He looked around, surprised to see himself standing in neck-deep water... He had barely taken in half of the sight when he screamed.

It was as if he had been stabbed but the speed at which Aiden ran out of the pool showed that this was not the case...

Aiden took another look at the pool as well as his surroundings before he slowly stepped back into the pool.

One step after the other, he waded through. At waist height, he still felt nothing but the moment the water was at neck height, all hell broke loose as Aiden screamed again.

All the pores on his skin seemed to open up at once because the feeling was as if he had thousands of needles stabbing into his body.

Five minutes...
