Chapter 05

Talon's - [P.O.V]

My phone rings again.

It's my mother's doctor.

I picked.

"Hello." I picked the call.

"I wanted to tell you that If you can't get the $15,000 to buy for her blood transfusion, then you should get someone with a blood type - O - to visit the hospital to donate the blood for her." She said to me and Evan looked at me.

"You are a blood type O... Go now, I'll be fine, don't worry I won't sleep." he said looking at me.

"Wait Talon, promise me that no matter what happens, you will be strong and make it in life, so all these people will pay." He said as he placed his palm over my cheeks.

"I promise, just wait for me, I will get help for you." I said to him as I ran into the hospital like a mad man.

"Somebody please help, my brother... He is out there." I called for help and a few nurses followed me.

As soon as I reached outside.

I felt strange.

It felt like he was no longer with me.

I looked at Evan before I reached him.

I grabbed Evan into myself as I looked at him.

And my heart broke to know that... He was dead.

A hurtful burning tear burns out of my eyes.

"No... Not my brother, no!" I screamed as I cried holding him to myself in mystery.

"Evan!" I screamed holding him as I cried.

"You said you will not sleep!" I screamed in pain.

"Those that hurt you will pay with their lives, I promise you.... I promise you." I repeated that promise as I cried into his chest.

"Everyone that hurt me and my brother will face my chaos!" I cried bitterly like a baby as I shouted in tears while holding him as the nurses removed him from my arms taking him away.

"Talon, it's your mother." One of the nurses calls from the door.

I ran back into the hospital.

"Mummy." I called looking at her.

"Come here Talon." She said and I walked to her before she brought me for a hug and I hugged her as I cried.

"Where's Evan?" She asked me.

"He... He..." I said before she hugs me more tightly.

"He's here, but you can't see him." She said before a tear rolled out of her eyes as she looked at me holding my hand.

"Promise me Talon, that you will conquer." She said to me.

"Promise me that you will beat this pain." She said to me.

"But how?" I asked her as I cried.

"How will I beat a pain that hurts this much?" I asked.

"You must Talon." She said to me.

"Damn, it hurts." She cries holding on to her chest.

"We need to start the blood transfusion, I'd get the kits." The doctor said as she left the room.

"Fine, I promise you mother, I will try." I said to her before she unravelled a knot she had tied on her shirt.

She brings out a necklace and she hands it to me.

"You came with this, the first time we saw... I think it has something to do with your true identity." She said putting the necklace over my neck as she held my hand.

"Best you open it, when you're ready to." She adds.

"Even after you find out who you are, never forget that it is I... Your mother, who trained you." She said to me as she began to jerk for air repeatedly while holding my hand.

"I love you so much my son." She said as I placed my forehead over hers while I looked into her adorable old eyes.

The doctor comes rushing back into the room with her white coat soaked with blood.

"What is it?" I asked her in tears.

"They're unknown gunmen around the hospital, you need to escape from here." She said falling to the side of the wall.

"Fear not my son." My mother said holding me.

"Show all those that hurt you, your chaos." My mother said as her hold slowly began to loosen and weaken as I held her palm tightly.

I didn't want to lose her too.

"Run Talon, Save yourself." She said before her machine beeped for she was now dead.

I could feel my veins twitching.

"You both can't leave me." I cried bitterly while I held my mother even closer to myself as I mourned with so many memories of her and Evan rushing through my head.

I got up from the bed.

Shocked as I took steps away from her.

"I don't know, but it seems like the hospital is under attack." The doctor said tying her bleeding stomach.

"There's a back exit... Use that, run boy!" The doctor adds.

"How about you?" I asked, trying to carry the doctor up.

"No, my liver has been damaged, I'm bound to die, God bless you." She said looking at me with tears in her eyes.

"Thanks." I said to the doctor as I hugged her before I dashed out from the room.

I looked at the back exit described.

Whoever wanted to eradicate us like this had to be Edward Antonio.

Evan punched him.

Or was this the wrath of Madam Ontario's family?

I brought all this upon my family.

I ran as fast as I could through the back door.

Immediately leaving the hospital as I ran far away.

Then... Boom!

I was soon to stop in my race.

I turned back to see a massive explosion.

It was the hospital I just ran off from.

I covered myself as some sharp objects injured me.

I turned to look at the mini-hospital with my mouth open in shock.

"Run!" Whispers rushed through my head as tears fell from my eyes and I turned running off.

My energy was low and I stopped running.

I had reached our house which was almost burnt to nothing.

I felt dead already inside.

My mother is dead... I couldn't help her.

My brother Evan is dead too... I couldn't save him.

Our house has been burnt down to the ground.

"What else am I doing in this world?" I asked myself.

There's no one that I can love or that would love me.

"My life is now finished in reality." I said to myself.

It began to rain and I fell to my knees.

I looked at the sky in return to see God.

How could he exist and let me suffer this much?

"Why?" I asked him as I looked over the ground to see a short knife which I picked up.

"Why did you bring me to this world to suffer?" I asked.

"Eh!?" I cried to him.

"I am tired of this world, let me end my life too!" I screamed to the raining sky before I sent the knife to my heart.

But then lightning strikes around me.

I feared that I could be lightning stroked as I shouted gulping air, before I threw the knife away.

"I have no body!" I shouted in pain, noticing how weak I was and seeing how my body vibrated with high fever as it rained on me.

"You have to be strong, my son." I recalled my mother's last words as I got up, staggering far away from home while thinking.

I was unable to control my own footsteps as I entered the main road mistakenly.

"Ah - a headache." I held my head.

I couldn't stand firmly and I fell to the ground.

Blanked out in darkness.
