Getting in front of the door, Chloe opened and was surprised to see Kelvin and James standing on the way. They were both wearing their favourite t-shirt, gold and blue which surprisingly had an inscription on it - best friends for life, making it easy for anybody to notice that they are best friends.

"Hi" They greeted in unison with faint smiles.

Realizing it was her brothers friend, Chloe shook her head with her lips pressed together with a frown. She stepped out of the way before yelling Freddie's name. As soon as kelvin and James walked in, Chloe tried to close the door not when Michelle, Chloe's best friend popped into the house almost having her body crushed by the door.

Michelle was wearing a pink jacket on a black tight jeans. Her jacket was buttoned and also she had on a prime little black choker round her neck.

"hey girlfriend" Michelle said as she kind of scared Chloe who almost tripped towards a flower vase placed on a stool "What the-"

"oh my God chloe, I'm sorry.. are you okay, are you hurt" Michelle asked repeatedly with a concern look.

"yea yea, am okay but um what are you doing here? I thought you were suppose to be in san francisco" Chloe wondered with a furrowed brows even as she adjusted her clothes though it never got rumpled.

Michelle lives with her mom right in carlsville city but her dad who is an influential business man resides in san francisco. 5 years down the lane, Michelle hasn't visited not to talk of see her father due to his busy schedule but luckily for her, doron (Michelle's dad) decided to host a family dinner at one of the finest restaurants in san francisco

"yea about that; our flight was cancelled, So mom and dad made an arrangement for us to have our family dinner next week, so I just thought instead of staying indoor; i should kick it here for the day " Michelle replied which made chloe's lips part into a smile.

"awn that's so nice of you" she said before the two came together for a girly warm embrace.

Michelle Lopez and Chloe jones are definitely clones of eachother, as people would say. This caused them to become best of friends since age 3. They have the same round face, brown long hair, same skin color and to crown it all same body shape. Two things made a difference from one another, michelle is a little bit taller than chloe who is also a little taller than average. The second is their character. Michelle appears to be a cool headed girl with a wide generous mouth made for smiling but as for Chloe, she looks like a freelance model due to her long blonde hair which she had transformed into soft curls. Chloe is a description of pretty, her great choice of wears, good look would definitely attract many guys to herself.

Kelvin and James sat together on the sofa some meters away from the t.v chatting. All of a sudden James jolted as he spotted a piece of waffle inside a plate placed on the center table that separates the sofa and the t.v.

"holey waffles" James exclaimed loudly with his mouth wide open.

"what's wrong bro" putting on a questioning face, kelvin asked.

Instead of a reply, James leaned forward and then crawled on his knees towards the table. Beholding the piece of waffle on the table like a diamond, James said "this is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen"

In other to have a clear picture, Kelvin tilted his head to a side "wait what? a waffle, beautiful thing" he said before nodding his head in amazement.

All of a sudden, Chloe spotted James on his knees fisting his attention on the waffle placed on the table. She took two steps and pointed at him "no no no, don't even think about it"

"but why not" James turned towards her with a frown

"because I said so, now shush away from my waffle" Chloe stomped her feet to the ground with a stern face.

"alright no problem, I'm gonna shush away" James mimicked giving an unwanted smile. As he stood up slowly, he quickly grabbed the waffle and forced it into his mouth.

Seeing that, Chloe became annoyed as she clenched her fist really hard. At her reaction, James immediately swallowed the waffle causing him a tiny pain down his throat. he ran round the chair as Chloe chased him. Kelvin and Michelle kept on laughing at them. This went on for some seconds not until a sound was heard from the stairs. The two suddenly halted their cat and rat chase as they spotted Freddie Jack and Kim walking down the stairs.

"well what's going on here" Kim said as she walked down the stairs before adjusting her glasses. Before anyone could speak, Chloe blurted

"mom, it's James. I told him not to take my last piece of waffle but he went ahead"

Except from Chloe and Kim, the others snorted with laughter. Jack shook his head before walking to the kitchen to get a bottle of water while Freddie sat at the handle of a sofa beside him.

"what no, that's not it. I asked if I could take the waffles cause I was hungry" James protested.

"no you did not ask" Chloe barked with her eyes rolled at him.

"but Chloe, you heard him, he was hungry and I've always taught you to be nice. So what do you say" Kim gazed at her daughter for an answer. Chloe who's arm are now crossed then apologized "Sorry James" before gawking at him .

Freddie who was silent the while tried to speak not when James blurted "Hey fred, have you seen the news" Taking his seat, he asked

"uhnn, nope, what's going on" Freddie asked lightly waiting patiently for an answer but instead kelvin leaned forward as he laid his hand on the remote placed on the table putting on the tv.

"see for yourself"

Freddie stood to his feet to have a clearer view while jack who was in the kitchen all along came out with a bottle of water.

Turning the tv on, kelvin finds the 'CGN' channel and luckily the news reporter was on for the 12 O'clock news.

"good day citizens" the reporter said before introducing himself.

"my name is Milo Havens and you are welcome to carlsville global news at 12"

there was a slight pause.

"breaking news, earlier today, up in the sky, a video was projected all over carlsville showing a viscious monster who threatened to destroy and take control of the world but this video must not be watched by viewers under the age of 13"

At that Freddie and the rest stared at one another with surprise.

Suddenly a video was projected on the screen showing a monsterous looking demon with long and sharp metals attached to his body and shoulders. A part of his face was clearly opened which revealed a huge scar.

"hello earth" he started as he stomped his staff which he held with his left hand on the ground "Get ready to be invaded by your worst enemy, you may want to ask who, well I'll tell you, it's me" He grunted before bursting into an hysterical laughter.

He stopped then continued "In a twinkle of an eye, your world will be in confusion, my troys and my monsters will be everywhere and I'll take over the world" he roared with long, loud and deep laughter.

Immediately there was a change of video showing Milo havens on his seat.

He continued "and in other news; In the city of chicago, a dog is seen to be predicting people's future as he opens his own future palace"

At that Kelvin tapped the mute button on the remote and the voice of the reporter was never heard again.

"oh my God" Michelle exclaimed out loud "What is that ugly looking beast?" She added with her hands on her face. She definitely felt irritated by the looks of the monster

"Jurazuss" Kim rising up slowly from her seat grunted in anger with her veins throbbing in her neck.

"wait was that-" with his eyes wide open, Freddie stammered with a finger towards the television.

"yes! Jurazuss himself" Kim answer made jack a little bit uncomfortable as he slammed his hand on the sofa.

"crap; this is bad! now just waking up thinking it's a good day but turned out worst by hearing the real story about your father and then boom a monster is willing to destroy the earth"

Perplexed at his statement, James opened "wait a minute, what's going on" as if they read minds together, Kelvin added as he made a quick glance at everyone "who's this jurazuss of a guy and why does he want to destroy the earth"

Before anyone could reply; Chloe blurted out "First of all, as you can see, he's a monster. Second of all, jurazuss is the leader and ruler of all ugly creatures in the kolvax galaxy world. Can you imagine this jerk almost killed my dad" she said out loud touching her arm with the slightest gesture.

As Chloe said those words Jack and Freddie yelled at her, calling her name "Chloe" but instead she made an i don't care attitude as she rolled her eyes.

"what, Is that not what mom told us"

"quick question, saying this monster almost killed your dad means that he's still alive" Kelvin guessed with a gesture.

Jack sighed before answering "technically yes but it's a long story" he tried to change the topic.

But wasn't enough for James as he said softly "then cut it short dude"

This time no one was sitting, everyone on their feet, either in an 'akimbo style' or folding their arms together

"that would be story for another day but mom, what do we do? I mean we cannot just sit around while our world is about to be destroyed by a monster" Jack turned towards Kim trying to explain that something must be done.

"i agree with Jack mom but as you said there must be a chosen one who'll will protect the world" Freddie recollected which made Kim smile. She was about to utter a word when Chloe blurted with a question.

"and who could that be?"

Quickly she chipped in so that no one could interrupt her "actually there is a chosen one" Kim said which lit Jack's face

"really"

"yeah" she answered while adjusting her glasses. She then faced Freddie and continued "Freddie you remember saying this was not the first nor the second you had that dream"

"actually this is the fifth time but what does it have to do with the chosen one" Freddie wondered with his eye brows furrowed together.

Kim gazed at her son with a smile "that's because before or after a person is been chosen, he sees revelation of himself or past chosen ones engaging a battle with what he's about to face, which means....
