Episode 8

Mario's Pov;

I just couldn't sit down anymore and watch them harass her.not that Beatrice was the type of person you could mess with but i felt I needed to stand up for her and do something; especially when I saw one of Mitchell's friends raised her hand to slap her

it would have landed if I hadn't intervened on time

I held it mid air and turned to glare at her - lilly or whatever she was called

the whole place was still as quiet as a grave yard

I looked at Beatrice ad she battled her eyelashes at me repeatedly In a ' what are you doing' kinda look

I dropped her hand and turned to Beatrice

" don't you ever try that again" I warned still staring at Beatrice

no one could tell who I was referring to. Cindy opened her mouth to say something but before she could I took Beatrice's hand and walked out of the cafeteria with her amidst her struggles and hesitations

" let go of me you jerk" Beatrice yelled for the upteeeth time

jeez!! I don't even know what her problem is

not like I kidnapped her or something that she's overreacting

" will you just shut up" I lost my cool

I just don't get why she's always difficult

" you should he happy I stood up for you and came to your rescue on time. if not your face would have be redesigned by now and worst thing, you guys could have ended up fighting" I rasped, breathing heavily

she scoffed and crossed her arms against each other

" and did I ask for your help?" she asked, shocking me to my bones

but why am I even shocked? she's always been like this so whatever she does or say now shouldn't come as a surprise to me

I wanted to yell at her but I gulped it down like a bitter pill - clenching my fist so right in anger

" let's...." the bell rang before I could complete my statement

" you heard that. I'm out" she said and ran away before I could say what I wanted to say

gosh Mario! why do you always have to be so slow?

this was such a good chance! a great opportunity to tell her...

oh, lord!

I ruffled my hair with my fingers taking the ones at the front to the back. I sighed deeply, tuck in my hands In my pockets and started walking to class

I saw Leo and his friends on my way to class. they stopped talking immediately they saw me coming

we glared at eachother in silence as I walked passed them

we didn't say anything or utter a word, but our eyes said it all

Beatrice's pov;

gosh! gosh! gosh!

Beatrice!! why do you always have to be so stupid?

I think am about to pass out?

did Mario seriously just stood up for me? like he fought for me?

geez! I can't even believe he held my wrist

I'm so not gonna wash the place he  held

I couldn't stand being close to him for so long and that was why I had ran off immediately the bell went out - it was as if that was  my saving grace; because heavens knows the naughty things I was already thinking about

I sniffed, inhaled and adorned his scent on my skin

I wouldn't stop sniffling and inhaling my wrist

you should see me right now; there was no difference between a lunatic and myself

Chelsea is so gonna tease me if I tell her about it, so I better don't

I stood at the stairs for a while wondering if Mario was in class already

how do I face him?

I feel so shy. geez!

I closed my eyes

" okay beatrice. you can do this" I said to myself and took in deep breaths before walking into the class

I walked in and the first person my eyes came in contact with was that of Mario

oh, heavens! he was in class already

did he fly or something?

he winked at me and I almost passed out. I quickly diverted my gaze from his and took it elsewhere - to Chelsea

she was grinning so wide at me

is this girl for real? I would have lowered my gaze to the floor but thats the last thing I'm gonna do in a situation like this

it makes me look timid and shallow and that isn't the kind of person I am

I like to hold my head up high with boldness and courage - damning the situation

" whatsup lover girl" Chelsea teased when I finally got to sit down

" stop it" I said trying to put on a straight face but she had already caught me blushing

" oh really! trying to act sassy. I'd suggest you try again" she said annoyingly. I glared at her and she giggled

Mario looked back at us and I quickly took my eyes to my bag trying to bring out my books

I brought it out successfully and placed it on the desk, then looked up to see Mario still staring

now...what's he staring at? I asked myself; and where the hell was the goddamn teacher

the stare was getting more intensed as he sat well facing us directly. he was making me feel so uncomfortable and I didn't like it one bit

I was already getting frustrated trying not to stare at him when the teacher walked in and he sat properly facing the board

I took a deep sigh of relief

" that was...epic" Chelsea cooed in my ears

" do you wanna know how stupid you sound?" I asked belatedly

she grinned at me and took up her pen, completely ignoring me

better

i glanced at Mitchell's seat to see she wasn't in class yet, same with her friends

I just hope today ends well and there shouldn't be any more drama

Leo's Pov;

I watched as he walked passed my friends and I

my rival - Mario. always competing with me in every goddamn thing and I keep up losing to him; but I have plans already to change that

we glared at eachother as he walked into the class and shortly, I saw Mitchell walked up the stairs angrily and came to meet me

before I could say jack, I heard a loud sound in my ear and a sharp pain on my face

yeah! she just slapped me. the crazy bitch slapped me

" what was that for??" I yelled sending daggers to her

she didn't answer as she took my left hand dragging me down the stairs with her

I didn't struggle or try to resist. I followed her to wherever it is she was taking me to

finally, we stopped at the back of the school's dormitory

" what was that Leo, huh?" she yelled at me immediately we stopped walking

I ceased my brows at her in confusion

" what the hell are you talking about? I'm the one that should be asking you that question? why the hell did you slap me? not just anywhere, but in front of my friends? have you gone buts?" I yelled in rage and anger

she burst Into laughter - laughing like the crazy bitch that she is

" oh really? your friends? so now you're angry because I slapped you in their presence? how about when you allowed that lowlife motherfucker to slap me in front of the entire school? you didn't think about how I felt then, so there's no need for me to think of your feelings?" she fired back at me

woahhhh!!

" really? did I ask you to go make trouble with her. you already knew she was sitting there but insisted we sit there also - even when I tried to pull you to another seat, you bulged; and now you're putting the blame on me" I snapped

" why didn't you at least try to defend me or prevent her from humiliating me.you just left me there and went to sit down. is that fair?" she questioned with tears threatening to fall off her eyes

I looked away from her

" you dont know how humiliated I am right now? and you don't even bother to know" she said calmly as she took my hands in hers slowly

" Leo. I'm sorry" she whispered in a sober voice but I wasn't pulled in any way

" but then; it doesn't ends here" she said smiling at me

I stared at her trying to figure out the meaning of her statement when she spoke up again

" I have to make her pay; and I'll need your help - I know how badly you want to get rid of Mario also, and from the look of things they are so close. it will just be killing two birds with one stone" she held me close, drawing invisible lines on my chest

I thought about what she said for a while before slowly removing her hands from my body

" stay away from me" I growled and walked out on her

she was taken abacked and probably angry but I don't care

if am to bring Mario down, I'll have to do it my way - not conniving with some bitch
