Toda went to the Adventurers Guild with Gaius; there he was supposed to figure out his class before he will choose a spirit. The Guild receptionist then asked Toda to place his hand on what looked like a stone tablet, when he placed his hands the stone tablet glowed and then it was been inscribe with words and figures, the receptionist screamed after she saw the result, she then spoke, "With what i have witnessed, you're meant to be in a Warrior class guild, but you can be ranked more than a warrior, so you'll be placed in the Hero Class guild, as your details show you have the ability to receive 10 spirits max, after you receive your spirit, you will be sent out with other hero candidates to the Guardians Tower."

On hearing of his soon to be expeditions Toda froze, he looked to the receptionist and asked her what the Guardians Tower is but she told him when he returns from the whispering pond, she would explain, she told Gaius to wait for Toda, she took Toda inside and took him to what look like a seal drawn on concrete, she told him it would teleport him to the pond, when Toda got on the seal, she told him that now he can't teleport because he has no magic yet, she placed her hands on the seal and regulated magic into it, when she was done she told him that when he got to the pond he should recite a mantra and spill his blood on the lake and if he was lucky a spirit would come for him, she also told him when he was done he should go to the seal and infuse magic and he'll return as the seal is just a one way teleportation seal.

Toda vanished and appeared in a garden, he moved his way deeper and deeper in and then he got to the pond, he looked into the pond and started to speak, "I, Toda Hisaki, pledge my life and myself to you spirits of the old gods, my vessel is your tool and blood your offering, Grant me power." After saying these words, Toda drew EROS and slit his own wrist, the blood fell into the pond then his sword starts to glow, he then looked to the pond and noticed it was also glowing, seven orbs sprung out of the pond and drove themselves into Toda and then he got a message, 'Spirit gain, MP acquired, accumulating MP, Accumulation complete, MP summation 3000\3000.'

Toda smiled after finding out that he had seven spirits, he walked away from the pond and headed to the seal, he stepped on the seal and then he placed his hand on the seal and then he got a message, 'Dormant teleportation seal approached, would you like to activate?' he accepted and then the seal glowed, the next thing Toda found himself back at the Adventurers Guild, he met up with Gaius and then was asked how many spirits he got, he told them seven, all of them were shocked, the receptionist then sent for her superior, Toda on the other hand was confused, he didn't know what was going on he looked to Gaius who was still in shock, a man walks up to Toda and said, "Oh, i see you are the young man my subordinate spoke about, i am Ramdwell, the highest authority in this very guild and once a knight who ventured into the guardians tower in search of the sacred arms." Gaius on the other hand froze as even though his father was a prime minister to the emperor, he had never seen the legend he spoke out, "Grand Master Liam Ramdwell, a legend such as yourself is standing before me, one who has wielded a sacred arm, I'm empty of words sir." The man smiled and said, "Oh, who would have thought that i would be recognized, young man, what is your name." Gaius told him his name and his family, the man was shocked saying he didn't know that he was the prime minister's son, he then looked to Toda and asked him if he wanted to be an adventurer, he also said that another young man like him passed by the guild with a whooping nine spirits, but he wasn't interested in joining the guild, he told Toda that the young man was dressed funny and was heading north, Toda then started thinking of the possibilities of the person being one of the staff.

The grand master went ahead and explained why Toda was important, "you see, after the old Gods passed this world was subjected to various trials and the one that shook the world most was the return of the arcane god, our ancestors thought he returned for the better but to our surprise he actually came back to rule the world and so he opened a portal to the underworld, but this portal isn't completely open for it to be opened the god needs all seven sacred arms and so seven heroes chosen by the sacred arms were selected, these heroes fought and pushed the arcane god or as we call him now the demon lord back into the underworld, then a seal was placed, over the years some demons found a way to break through and the heroes would always put the world in check, but recently the world was at peace and so the sacred arms were meant to kept, the recent emperor ordered that the seven arms be returned to their respective tower where the gods delegated them, but some insisted on keeping theirs and so the emperor ordered that instead of the arm, the err stone be returned, all sacred arm's have a certain space for an orb to be placed, those stones were called Err stone, the stones where the blessings of the god was contained, because these special stone was made by a god it cannot be broken, without these err stones the true potentials of the sacred arms could never be released, presently we have been witnessing the return of some demons and so we beg you consider our plea and join our cause."

After these words the man told them both that if they needed anything they should call for him, they both left and Toda was dragged back by Gaius to the Henmer Manor House, where he was expectant to meet the prime minister of the kingdom of Khetis.
