Dawn

" So is that all you two want to talk about?" The boy asked, once looking at the grave and then at Lock.

" I don't know how but whatever you said would have been the words only my friend would have said. There were even some things that only the two of us knew about."

He was confused but feeling somewhat relieved of his guilt. He looked at the boy in front of him who was standing near him with a calm smile.

" I have fulfilled my end of the bargain, would you fulfill mine now." He asked.

" Tell me one thing, why is the ghost of my friend still here, will he not go to heaven or hell?" Lock asked in reply to his question.

" Souls with strong spiritual prowess take time to vanish, he will pass away in a month or two, if you want I can help him pass away now." The boy said offering his hand. Lock didn't understand this action, but remained at a little distance from the boy.

" You said, you are Death! I didn't understand what you meant?" Lock asked.

" It's the same thing your friend is asking." The boy replied.

" My name is Dawn, Death! is my title. People prefer to call me that more than my name, but I would like you to call me Dawn." Dawn again said these words with a calm face.

" You are still just a kid, What would you want to know?" Lock sat down on the ground to listen to what the kid had to say.

" I want to know about the tower, how do I enter it?" Dawn thought and then asked.

" There are several entrances to the flame god tower, you need to pay money or fight in a yearly held rumble match to enter, and each year only 100 people are allowed to enter the tower. Those who climb the tower are known as Climbers." Lock explained more than Dawn had asked.

" Tell me, something who created the tower," Dawn asked.

" God of the flames obviously, there are six gods and six towers. Each of these towers was created by the gods that reside on the top floor."

" If it's life-threatening, why do you climb it?" He asked, " It's just intriguing to me so please do tell me."

" I climbed the tower because I didn't want to be weaker than others. Because weaker people are always tormented by the strong, I wanted to be a strong human that's why I chose to climb the tower."

" I see, I think it was not a wise choice seeing how you lost something important rather than gaining any strength." Dawn chuckled which made Lock a little irritated.

" I have answered enough questions, if you are wise, you should train that little body of yours before trying to climb the tower." Lock started to walk away from the place.

" He didn't believe you, my friend is like that," Kevin said and then added after a pause. " So you are death, little boy. I never thought that Death would look like a brat."

" Your friend is gone, now I ask you, do you want to pass away in the afterlife," Dawn asked.

" I don't know, I still have the desire to live. Can I not just be reincarnated or something like that? Can you help me please?"

" I can not help you if you desire to reincarnate but I can sustain your soul. You will have to become my subordinate for that." Dawn explained.

" Will you let me take my revenge?" Kevin asked.

" You know once you become my subordinate, you kind of become my responsibility, I can't allow you to kill someone innocent. I don't know whether your reason for killing is valid or not."

" I want to kill someone because he deceived us and I think he is deceiving someone very important person that I care about. I can not allow that to happen."

" You have your choices, Kevin, become my subordinate or vanish into nothingness. I will allow you to take revenge if I deem your reason to be Valid."

" I agree to become your subordinate if you promise to let me take revenge for a valid reason."
