Dawn collapsed on the ground while walking, his head was spinning because of low energy.

' Damnit, I forgot to warn him that his powers come from me, so if he uses too much of his powers it will affect me. I have no mana now, it's too late to realize, it seems the connection has also disappeared.' Dawn thought as he gasped for air and finally became unconscious.

" Hey, looks like another orphan died today, and he just had to die in front of my store." A shopkeeper complained, " What do I do now?"

" Let's call a guard, they will handle it."

" Should I just toss him aside? Dead or alive they are just the same."

" Hey, how can you say that about another human like that." Another person spoke, and people were saying different kinds of things, some were saying they should bury Dawn properly and some were spitting because of disgust but no one went near him.

" What is happening there, Mike? Why is the crowd gathered there?" A woman who was walking home with a newborn in her arms saw the crowd and asked her husband.

" Today, I am on holiday but anyway I will go check on what's happening?" Mike went towards the crowd of people.

" Excuse me please make way," He said to the crowd, because of his big stature the others let him enter and made way for him.

" Ah, aren't you a guard? I remember your face."

" Yes, I am, what happened?" Mike asked, he still could not see what was there that others were looking at and was interrupted by someone.

" I went to look for the guards, but it seems no one is patrolling nearby. There is an orphan that died today on the main street of the market, please deal with the dead body." The shopkeeper explained.

' Another one died.' Mike felt a little sad and clenched his fist. He started to move deeper into the crowd that filled the street and reached the middle where the boy was.

" Excuse me, I am a guard, please let me deal with the situation." He went near Dawn's unconscious body. ' The poor soul, sorry you had no one who could help you.'

Mike sighed and went to pick up the body but just as he did, he could easily tell that it was no corpse and there was still life in the boy. " Excuse me, quickly make way for me." He said as he ran past the crowd at a fast speed.

" Mike!" his wife shouted when she saw Mike running with Dawn in her hands.

" Amy, I am going to the doctor's place. You go home directly." Mike shouted, he was running as fast as he could so that he could save the life of the unconscious boy in his hand.

" I don't think his life is in danger, he is just unconscious." The doctor examined the body of dawn and told Mike.

" You are a good man Mike, thank you for the quick action. I have made him drink some energy and health potions so he would recover. But isn't it costly for you?" The doctor continued to say. " You have to raise a child, you have just got the responsibilities of a father and you just spent too much on a kid who is a stranger to you."

" I will just try to earn it again." Mike just scratched his head and laughed awkwardly. The doctor knew what Mike had just spent too much to save Dawn was too much. " I have enough money saved up for my kid."

" Mike!" A woman shouted, When Mike and the doctor looked at who it was, they saw his wife who was entering the clinic.

" Amy, I told you to go home," Mike said.

" How is that boy? You were carrying." Amy asked.

" He is fine, you should worry about yourself. Remember, you had just given birth a few days ago to our daughter."

" Thank God, that kid is fine." Amy sighed in relief, she had got to know what happened on the streets from others and figured out why her husband ran for the doctor's clinic.

" He is opening his eyes." The doctor said as he noticed Dawn waking up, he had been hearing everything but just didn't try to wake up as the medicine was still taking effect.

' Man! I am saved by some Kind people again in this life as well.' Dawn thought as he got up and sat down on the bed to see the people who were his saviors.
