Chapter 7

Parallel or not?

*****

Just some seconds ago, Hazakiel had been slow to defend himself from the squad leader giving the opponent the chance to deliver a mighty hell-pound punch that ripped his chest apart, injuring him and causing his spiritual power to leak.

"Did you kill the man?" Hazakiel too worried about the situation couldn't stop asking as he knew he couldn't help if a fight broke out, his body now beginning to fade into a ray that will send him back to the heaven infirmary.

"He has the mark of Iblis!"

Hazakiel almost choked on his shock as he saw the Mark of Iblis shine on the corpse, sending a weird signal-like wave across the horizon. Did Sapphira just knock a squad leader dead?

"I told you...you should act on instinct." Sapphira praised herself as she confirmed the death of the squad leader.

"You have to hide Sapphira. They will be here anytime." Hazakiel managed to warn Sapphira before his Angelic body burst into a silver ray that shot up into the dark sky.

"Goodbye Hazakiel." Sapphira felt relieved as she saw the ray shooting up into the sky. , her corundum dazzled around her as she weighed the pouch in her hands, she had to release Mac. But not just here for it was already unsafe.

Kana city was humongous, a municipality that thrilled on the bliss of the Illuminati, operation from within ensuring the safety and well-being of Kana, as a dark age slowly and strongly manifested.

Sapphira flickered through the streets in search of a safe, well-hidden corner where she could pull the beings out of the pouch. She could feel her power draining fast as she took the risk in an old abandoned shelter.

Inside Sapphira's Void pocket.

Rachel breathed heavily as tiny droplets formulated on her forehead. She had just had the worst nightmare of her life, and worse so, a competitor for her lover.

"Die!" Rachel had woken, puffing, hoping for the opposite of her dream, waking up in the real world but her eyes opened to the alien space with no exit.

The voidness abruptly started to shake as the whiteness faded into blue. Slowly a sky could be seen as Mac who was still asleep rolled up into the sky.

"Mac! Mac! " Rachel screamed as she felt herself losing gravity. The sky was vast as Rachel flowed out, watching the room come into shape as the fall came to an end, On a stone-cold, dusty shelter.

Is this freedom or a transfer to another cell? She wondered as she looked around and saw Mac next to her, unconscious. The air was cold and the place smelled like fish.

"Mac?" Rachel crawled closer, shaking his shoulder and administering some slaps that proved impractical until a voice startled her up.

"It's useless."

Just behind her, almost unnoticeable, a slim weird looking girl with bluish eyes and a green gown stood. Her posture and camouflage were goosey as she walked toward the two, with two spheres of green and blue dazzling, floating above her head.

"Who are you!" Rachel instantly defended Mac as she turned to stand and face the girl. The moment she did look straight into those bluish eyes, anger rose in her. "It's you!"

This was her nightmare.

Rachel knew she had to try her best to defend Mac from this demon, she had dreamed that a witch would come along, with spells and drive Jamie Mac away from her.

"Go away from us!" Rachel warned as she looked around for anything worthy to be a weapon, she was not going to take any chance here. Sapphira stood still, ignoring her curses but observing Mac, who had started snoring loudly, with no idea of his situation.

To Rachel, Sapphira was evil. Although Sapphira knew Rachel as Mac's friend, she was not going to continue her introductions as Rachel kept threatening her to step back.

"Stop threatening me!" Sapphira had to keep reminding the cinder girl in red. "We have to get out of here," She added as she sensed the presence of evilness crawling near.

"I know who you are!" Rachel didn't give a damn about Sapphira's bullshit as she gave out the last warning. "Don't dare me!"

"I'm not your enemy. I'm Sapphira."

This was the only chance to escape as Sapphira knew the girl in front of her won't stop nonsense anytime soon. She had to use her last power on her for the sake of saving Mac.

"Allow me to wake him." Sapphira who could sense the mixture of power flowing in Mac's essence knew what need be done. Being the ALL angel meant she had blessed powers, blue and green. She possessed the water and wood elements, healing was not an issue for her.

"Don't you dare lay your filthy fingers on him or else... "

The warning from Rachel was cut short as Sapphira sent her corundum over Rachel's head, locking her up in a cage that shut off her voice from the outside.

'I hope this works.' Sapphira kneed on her fragile-looking knees as she studied the pink moist lips. She had to transfer some of her mana into Mac, and the only quickest way was oral administration.

"I swear I will kill you!" Rachel swore but her voice was inaudible as she watched Sapphira lean and kiss Mac softly, directly on the lips. Everything seemed to go into slow motion as Rachel saw Mac hold down Sapphira's head closer, tangling his fingers through the greenish hair as Sapphira succumb to the new experience.

His mouth tasted of garlic as Sapphira let her tongue twist with his. For a moment she knew she should withdraw but a sweet, tingling sensation struck down her breasts making her completely forget the environment as she let her body grow numb for Mac.

The trick was working as she could feel Mac tighten his grip now around her waist as a third leg grew between the two strong muscular ones. This trick, Sapphira had learned from those ascended deities, she was just lucky to have tried it practically.

[ NEW BODY FOUND! ]

Suddenly, a feminine voice brought Sapphira back to her senses as she withdrew from the kiss. 'Was that you?' She asked Mac who had simply fallen asleep again, innocently.

She was just about to try another kiss to test if the voice was truly Mac's when an evil aura descended on the shelter.

"If I were you, I won't do that."

Lilith hovered above the ceiling as she condensed into her baby form, her eyes orange with scales.

"A parallel or unparalleled?"

"Parallel, you give me the boy, you live. Unparalleled, you resist you die."

Lilith's voice made the deal clear as she went along to advise Sapphira.

"Whatever liveth inside the boy, will just destroy you... Avoid contact with him if you wish to live as yourself."

The atmosphere tightened as Sapphira thought over it, was she going to let go of him? Was this the right thing? But just then, as Sapphira was about to go against Lilith, Mac stood up wiping the dirt off his clothes as he smiled back at the baby figure, Lilith.

"I'm going with unparalleled."
