After finishing all his classes, Rex rushed to oversee one of the supermarkets in Struthia City. He could not ask for help from anyone because Carlton forbade the bodyguards to help him. His father wanted to make him solve this problem alone.

Still, it was not a big deal for Rex. After all, during these five years, he had not only spent his time studying but also training his physique. Every night after studying, he would practice at home alone. That was why today he was very enthusiastic about being able to fight people head-on.

“Let’s see who will be my opponent,” Rex mumbled while wearing a mask, because he did not want to be identified. Then he walked to the supermarket.

It turned out that his father was right. The thugs had ruined their supermarket’s image. When Rex got there, there was not a single car parked in front of the supermarket. He also heard from his father that the thugs were not afraid of the police.

Many thugs had been reported by society. However, Ramon Ward did not give up and continued to send new people to destroy one of the Quillon Family businesses. Ramon’s business could be destroyed in an instant if Carlton did not want to test his son’s abilities.

“Hey, kid! Where are you going?”

Rex stopped walking when a big man came up to him and gripped his shoulder tightly. He calmly replied, “I want to go to the supermarket, Uncle. Can you take your hand off my shoulder?”

“Looks like you just moved to this city and don’t know about us yet.” The big man pointed to several men sitting in the supermarket parking lot. Their existence was so oppressive that it made anyone think twice about passing them by.

“You’re right. I just moved into this city yesterday,” Rex said as he counted the number of people he would be dealing with. After knowing he was going to face five people, he continued, “I don’t know why you detained me. But I’m in a hurry and have to buy something at the supermarket.”

“Then just buy it at the Ward Supermarket.”

“But Ward Supermarket is far from here.”

The big man growled in annoyance. At first, he wanted to be tolerant since the young man in front of him had just moved to this city. However, his patience was lost because the young man was being so arrogant, his gaze also conveyed a hint of ridicule.

“You’ve crossed your line, kid! Let me show you who’s the strongest here. Don’t worry. I’ll knock you out in one hit,” the man shouted, ready to throw his punch with all his might.

The people watching in the supermarket parking lot laughed at Rex. “Look at that insolent brat! He will run out of money to pay for the hospital charges.”

Unfortunately, the big man’s punch was successfully blocked by Rex, and even now he gripped the big man’s wrist tightly. His grip was so strong that the man screamed in pain, dumbfounding his friends.

“Huh? What just happened?”

Ken, the leader of the thugs, asked and stood up. He knew Frank very well, the big man who could knock anyone out in one hit. However, that deadly punch had just been retained by a young man!

Meanwhile, Rex did not squander a golden opportunity. He mercilessly twisted Frank’s hand until he heard a voice that was met with a painful scream. After crushing Frank’s right arm, he kicked the big man into the parking lot.

All the thugs who saw Frank defeated in front of them were shocked. They assumed that the young man was sent by the Quillon Family to beat them up. However, so far, the family had never sent a person at a very young age.

“Who exactly is that person?” Ken muttered warily. After all, he was the leader and would take responsibility if any trouble occurred. “Listen to me. Don’t take the first step. Let’s observe his movement. We can lose if we move around without knowing anything.”

Still, his subordinate named Walter was always stubborn. He never listened to the leader’s orders. Now Walter was running towards Rex, even though Ken had warned him not to be the first to start the fight.

Ken growled angrily but regained his composure back at having to observe Rex’s move. If he knew what martial arts that young man was using, then he and his gang could win.

On the other hand, Rex smirked behind his mask when he saw Walter galloping toward him. When Walter approached him with a punch, Rex immediately parried the blow.

Walter, who received a block, was forced to stop giving attacks because he had to control his body so as not to fall. At the same time, Rex stepped back and made him wince in surprise. Instantly, Walter knew that the young man was going to give him an attack.

“H-hey, wait a minute!” Walter exclaimed when he saw Rex running and suddenly jumped up with his feet pointed at him.

However, Rex ignored the scream and still landed his kick right in Walter’s face. “Wait a minute, you say? That’s something can’t be used in a real match,” he sneered.

Then he glanced at the other thugs, who looked still in shock. He stomped on Walter’s stomach and asked, “Who’s next? I can’t wait to finish you all off.”

Ken immediately signaled his people not to respond to Rex’s provocation. After seeing the fight earlier, he became convinced that Rex was on a different level from them. It seemed that the young man was a martial arts expert. 

“Why are you silent? Are you afraid of me?” Rex could not wait to beat them up, so he provoked again.

Unlike before, Ken chose to respond to Rex this time. He took a deep breath before asking, “Were you sent by the Quillon Family or someone?”

“What do you mean by someone sent me here? I just wanted to buy something at the supermarket, but the big guy got in my way. I had no choice but to beat him up.”

Ken remained silent after hearing Rex’s explanation. Despite feeling suspicious, he had no choice but to make peace with the young man. “You said you wanted to buy something at the supermarket, right?” he asked.

“Yeah, that’s right,” Rex replied, knowing what Ken was going to say next.

“Then please go to the supermarket. We won’t bother you anymore.”

“That’s good. Thanks for your cooperation. I’m leaving now.”

Rex stepped into the supermarket and could hear the people behind him arguing. It turned out that the other two thugs did not agree with Ken’s decision. However, they could not do anything about it and Rex directly knew that Ken was the strongest among them.

“I wonder how strong that guy is,” Rex mumbled to himself as he walked into the supermarket.

The cashiers immediately shuddered in horror because they had seen the fight earlier. However, they calmed down after seeing Rex doing nothing. The young man just bought a can of soda and left after paying.

Rex, who had come out of the supermarket, approached Ken and handed him the soda he bought. “This is for you because you have calmed the atmosphere.”

“What on earth...? Don’t be offended. But I can’t accept gifts from strangers,” Ken immediately refused because he felt suspicious.

Meanwhile, Rex directly hit Ken in the face with a can of soda. “Well, how about that? My parents say it’s not good to refuse other people’s kindness. Because you reject my kindness, then I will do bad things to you.”

Ken touched his face and cursed after knowing that he had a nosebleed. This time, Rex’s actions could not be tolerated by him. He did not want to make peace with the young man again.

“You’re being arrogant just because you have some power,” Ken declared as he rolled up the sleeves of his shirt, showing his snake’s tattoo.

Seeing that, Rex immediately sneered, “What is this? You want to show me your tattoo?”

“That’s right. My tattoo is nice, isn’t it?”

Ken smiled and then threw a punch at Rex’s face. However, it was just a fake punch. When Rex was about to dodge his punch, he immediately struck his opponent’s stomach with his other hand.

“Wow, your tattoo tastes really good!” Rex, who was pushed back by the strike, looked calm, as if nothing had happened to him.

He bent down as Ken aimed a kick at his head. He quickly nudged Ken in the stomach, causing the man to bounce and fall. Not wanting to waste time, he immediately pressed Ken’s body so he could strangle his neck.

“I thought I could have a little fun today. However, it turns out that my opponent is very weak. What a disappointment!”

Rex spoke without noticing that the two thugs had made a move. One of them even took a chair that was on the terrace of the supermarket. A moment later, the chair floated right into Rex’s body.
