Chapter 2

In the royal palace.

The large door opened slowly. The soldier entered the King's throne room with steady steps. The disciples and teachers followed him with cautious steps. They bowed their heads and dared not look up.

Alucard also bowed his head, although he was very curious about the King in this world. He remembered watching a film about ancient kingdoms, where people who were disrespectful or disobedient to the King could be put to death.

Alucard felt nervous and scared. He couldn't help but feel a mixture of curiosity and fear. He wanted to see the face of the King who ruled this world but was also afraid of his reaction to them. Would he welcome them, or would he insult or threaten them?

Alucard looked around the throne room, which was very grand and luxurious. The throne room was very spacious and tall. On the walls were many paintings and carvings depicting the glory and honour of this kingdom.

In the centre of the throne room was a large throne made of gold and jewels, with fine cushions and blankets. On the throne was a large crown that sparkled, with jewels of many colours.

Next to the throne room, many people were standing tall and respectful. They wore different clothes according to their status and position.

To the throne's right were people dressed in luxurious, beautiful clothes with fine jewellery. They were the nobles of this kingdom who had power and influence in this world.

To the throne's left were men wearing strong, iron armour with sharp weapons in their hands. They are the generals of this kingdom who have the strength and courage in this world.

After walking about ten metres before the throne, the soldier carrying them stopped and knelt. He said loudly, "I have brought the heroes by Your Majesty's orders."

The male teacher and the disciples were surprised by the soldier's actions. They were not prepared to kneel in front of the King. But, upon seeing the soldier kneel, they, too, immediately imitated him. They didn't want to break any ethics or protocol in this world.

A loud and powerful voice immediately rang out from the direction of the throne. The voice said, "We welcome your arrival, heroes!"

The male teacher and the disciples finally looked up slowly. They saw the face of the King of this world for the first time.

The King opened his mouth and said, "Welcome to this world, heroes. I am the King, ruler of the human kingdom. I apologise for how you were summoned here, but this is the only way to save this world from destruction."

"You must be wondering what's going on here. Let me explain to you. This world is in great danger. The demon king and his generals, the seven great sins, have risen and invaded the kingdom of man. They are bringing chaos, destruction, and death everywhere."

"The human kingdom is not alone in this resistance. We have allied with other kingdoms of different races, such as elves, dwarves, and lizardmen. However, we are still losing the battle badly. The power of the demons is too great for us to match."

"Therefore, we need your help, heroes. You are chosen to save this world from the clutches of demons. You have extraordinary powers and talents which no ordinary person possesses. You are our last hope."

The King ended his speech with a hopeful tone. Alucard and his friends looked at each other with incredulous looks on their faces. They couldn't understand what they had just heard.

"Is this a dream? Is this a joke? Is this real?"

The male teacher could no longer bear to hear the King's talk. He got up from his knees and shouted, "Enough! Don't you dare play tricks on my students! How could you expect them to fight against a demon king? They are just ordinary schoolchildren, not warriors or wizards! They don't know anything about this world, let alone fighting!"

"You think you can force them to sacrifice their lives for your kingdom? As their teacher, I won't let that happen! I will protect them at all costs! Return us to our world right now!"

Hearing the words of the male teacher, the King was not angry at all and even smiled. The King looked at the male teacher and said, "I know what I am doing may not be right. After all, they are just disciples who can't fight at all. But, we need your skills."

"You don't have to worry; everyone brought over from another world will have unique abilities. Even your abilities will be much stronger than those of people from this world."

"Therefore, we had to summon heroes from other worlds. Because when you come to this world, you will gain powerful abilities."

Then the King stood up, bowed slightly, and said, "Lend me your strength! To protect the innocent people and the kingdom from the cruel demons."

The entire throne room immediately became noisy. A noble immediately cried out in panic, "Your Highness! You don't need to bow like that."

The King immediately raised his hand to tell the nobleman to stop talking. The King immediately said softly, "As people who need help from others, we must be kind. After all, as a king, I don't mind bowing like this if it is to protect all humans from the demons."

"Your majesty..." said the nobles and generals in the throne room, touched by their King's actions.

The nobles and generals also nodded to each other and then bowed towards the disciples, "Heroes, lend your strength. To protect the people and the entire kingdom!"

The disciples who heard the King's and the nobles' words were confused and afraid. They didn't understand what was happening and why they had to become heroes in another world. They also weren't sure they had powerful, unique abilities, as the King said.

The male teacher immediately told the King, "Your majesty, we greatly appreciate your good intentions. However, we still cannot accept your request. We still don't know what happened and how to return to our world. We are also not ready to fight against demons who may be very dangerous."

The King reassured them, saying, "I understand how you feel. I also don't want to force you to do something you don't want to do. However, I hope you can consider our request well. Because if you refuse, then we have no hope of surviving in this world."

Upon hearing this, the male teacher became silent. He also felt that protecting innocent citizens from demon attacks was not bad. But, considering that his students would be in a life crisis due to the battle with the demons, the male teacher decided to let them determine their path.

Mike immediately stepped forward, saying loudly and boldly, "Of course we'll help. Me, Mike can't sit idly by while watching those demons try to kill us humans. I will make them regret it!"

Zeref came forward and said, "You made your decision too quickly, Mike. But I agree with you this time. There's no way I will let those demons continue to act cruelly towards humans."

A woman with long black hair and a pretty face came forward this time and said, "I will help. I can't let those demons continue to act cruelly."

After that, all the other disciples began to follow suit to agree to help fight the demons.

Seeing that the disciples had decided, the male teacher moved forward and said, "Since the disciples have agreed, then as their teacher, I cannot possibly abandon them. I will help fight the demons and fulfil my duty as a hero."

The King nodded and said, "I thank you very much on behalf of the entire kingdom. You don't need to worry; we will meet your needs in this world, be it food, clothing, armour, weapons, or magic. Our royal knights will help you level up first to fight the demons."

"Level?" a disciple immediately asked in confusion.

The King immediately said, "General Levi, you can explain it to the heroes."
