Chapter 61: Pretty.

I was just standing there staring at Grace and she cleared her throat and I looked up.

"I think I smell something burning." Grace announced and my eyes widened.

"Oh my goodness!" I exclaimed as I rushed into the kitchen and removed the pot from the stove with my bare hands and the hot pot burnt me a bit.

I blew air on my palm.

"You know the hand gloves are on the breakfast table." I heard Grace comment as she walked into the kitchen and I playfully glared at her.

"You caused this and you still have the mouth to talk." I huffed as I turned on the tap and put my hand under it as the water ran down my hand relieving it of some burning sensation.

"Sorry I don't actually know what I did." Grace replied.

"I didn't mean it that way." I replied.

"So what were you trying to cook?" She asked as it seemed like most of the content of the food was burnt.

I don't know if the heat was too much, how much time did I actually spend opening the door and looking at Grace.

Well I wasn't looking.
