Chapter 61

Daniel watched the bullet in slow motion as it went straight for his shoulder. He felt a little piercing pain. He had prepared his sensory nerves for the pain making the impact bearable. His smile only got a bit wider making Michael want to shoot again, but the gun jammed, and all of a sudden the gun became too hot for his hands.

He began tossing the gun in his hands, shock evident on his face. He could barely hold it in his hands.

Outside the office, the sound of the gun was heard across the entire floor, forcing some workers to close their office doors while the security guards ran toward the sound of the gun.

Inside, Michael quickly let go of the gun that had become too hot for his hands.

"What the fuck! What the fuck!" He kept screaming, his perplexed gaze fixed on Daniel, who was wearing an annoying grin.

The security guards stormed in at the count of three, just in time for Daniel to get into his acting, wailing in pain as he tried to hide behind his chair.

"He shot me, he shot
