As Raven entered the trial, all the guilds and soldiers in the country fought the monster that comes out of the gates and are roaming the area, dozen of soldiers and hunters died for not expecting a dire situation to happen.

"Guild master the situation is getting worse. The monsters keep coming out of the gates. The worst thing is that the massive gate is still unknown to us. According to the mana reader, the massive gate is still expanding and in a dormant state", Jayson read the report of every team that has been dispatched to counter and control the monster outbreak.

"Darn it....@#$%.... what about the other guild's report from the roundtable, beast, and other sub-level guilds are there any information?." Benjamin ask jayson..

"Some low-level guild was wiped out from the monster outbreak they are the first to respond when the gates appeared," Jayson sadly read and gave more reports to benjamin.

Benjamin Light is the uncle of Raven the Second strongest S-class hunter in Country P.

"Guild master, the beast guild also been hit badly because an S-rank boss monster appeared, Theo, the third S-rank in the guild is now badly injured and has been ordered to retreat, while the roundtable guild is doing well and have a good coordination with their rising star Zig Torres they killed Two S-class and Ten A-class beast, and monster they also cleared three gates of B-rank and A-rank gates, but .." he looks at Benjamin and hesitated to continue his words.

Benjamin looks at Jayson and already expected something bad from the 'buts' of Jayson.

"They said they had to continue to clear their area and will not be sending reinforcement to any other guilds they have to reserve their strength to face the massive gate and they still had to protect the people in their area, and so they ask us and other guilds remaining to not only clear the small gates that are in our area but to send reinforcement to others location"

"Those bastards they want our guild to be destroyed even in this dire situation" benjamin could only grip his chair tightly and cursed angrily at the roundtable guild because he cannot do anything to them. "Jayson gather your team, your task is to clear the C rank gates in the area but remember to not go too far or fight something you can't win, remember that Jayson"

"Yes sir" Jayson bowed to Benjamin before going out to gather his team for the clearing of the area and expedition inside the gate.

Jayson was the vice guild master of the lightning spear guild having a rank of A+ even though his rank is not as exaggerated liked other guild or vice guild masters, his skill was undoubtedly powerful with fine control of his duel element of wind and fire he was more than enough to clear B rank gate boss alone. He was 23 yrs old and was such a young vice guild master whose height was 5'5 and had an average weight of 55.

"Vice guild master Jayson, you're here, are you going to clear some area?"

"Captain seed" Jayson with a smile "Yes I will be going with my team, even though it is a low-rank gate we can't afford to be careless in this kind of situation. Captain seed, do take care of your team as well after this disaster let's get some drinks, I'll try to talk to Guild master benjamin to bear the expenses haha" Jayson punches seed to the shoulder like any old friend.

"Hmmm, well be careful don't be careless I'm 10 yrs older than you so take my advice seriously alright, If something goes wrong contact me my location is also near your clearing area. don't go dying there before me.. hahaha" seed laughed as he jokingly gave some words and patted Jayson's shoulder before he left.

"This guy, you'll die first, I'm still not married who wants to die single"Jayson murmured while smiling and shaking his head, walking towards his team.

His team consists of 5 additional A-rank and 5 B-rank hunters, 2 A-rank tanks, 2 mages, 2 scouts, 2-A rank fighters, and 1-A rank supporter.

"Alright ladies, time to work our ass off for the guild, let's finish this early to have some time to rest before the real disaster of that massive gate starts to befall upon us haha," jokingly as he handed over the information of the gates and area they will clear as a team.

"Captain, let's go. I want to kill some monster to let out my anger, because of them my date is ruined" Balfog (A rank Tank)," ah, my date why on this day of all the days? "

"Hahahaha" Everyone laughed at Balfog because of his words.

"Haha, Balfog no need to think we all know you, been single for almost five years now," Luke the A rank Fighter jokingly teased balfog for what happened to his friend's date.

"Shut up luke, do you want to taste my fist of love right now, trust me all my love is in my fist, coming at your face if you don't shut up," Balfog makes an ugly expression which makes his face even uglier than before as he raises his fist to Luke

"Ai, it looks like you are all energetic. OK, let's go on the bus, be prepared for any situation, and be vigilant of your surroundings. We don't want to fall into a trap by monsters" Jayson gave an order with a serious tone as they walked inside the bus.

"Yes, vice guild master" everyone obeyed.

As the bus moves to the area where the gates are located, many sounds could be heard, from choppers to tanks firing and many other hunters who were releasing their magical abilities and exploding. They could see many broken homes and monster corpses in the area.

"Alright, steal your heart, we are in the war zone as the task you read, first clear the area if you find survivors, gather them here. After that, we will contact the military to take them before we initiate the second phase and that is to clear the C rank gates in this area, am I clear!".

"Yes, vice guild master" everyone.

"Now, go" pointing to the area where monsters could be heard.

The team moved fast and killed every monster they see from goblins, trolls, stingers, horndogs, and even some C to B rank bosses of some gate that are wandering in the city area. The team itself has a solid foundation they all had experience in fighting beasts, and Monsters they can unleash good combinations because of their sync movement and attacks.

"Found a survivor, I 'll take him to the meeting area," one of the scouts informs the team while carrying a civilian on his back.

"Roger that, be careful on the way", Balfog.

As Jayson and his team cleared the area without any problems, they receive a call to the base that the plan had changed, and are requested to pull back, as he call back his team a massive explosion happen near Jayson's area.

"This mana emitting how strong this monster can be! Is this S class no? Not even the guild master emits this kind of mana. When he's angry, this is more dangerous than expected, Seed you fucking jinx me" Jayson started to shake in fear, from the mana that was being released.

"Vice guild master" Sofia was shaking and couldn't stand up in fear, even though the monster is still far from them she could feel that she was at death's door if she moved an inch.

As the rest of the team gathered, he gave an order.

"Shit... Balfog and the rest of you take Sofia drive as fast as you can. Don't look back, do you understand"

"Vice guild master, we can't let you go alone in this, we will fight."

"Don't be impulsive Luke, we will all die if we fight that thing. You don't have to worry. I won't fight it I will just buy you some time if that thing chases you" he said while smiling at them" you are my team, my comrade, my friend, and the guilds family I won't allow any of you to die in my hands as your leader I should think of the best course of action if a situation arises, and as your vice-guild master I have the authority to order you and you shall follow what I have said do you all understand"

"But" before Balfog could continue his words Jayson stopped him.

"Balfog, you are the oldest of us, that's why I'm asking you to take them and escape here first. Before I escape, you are all way slower than me. You should know that don't you? Before you know it I'm already in the base, sitting and waiting for your lazy ass haha"

"I know your gonna do that, Jayson haha, as expected, by the vice guild master of our lightning spear guild I didn't choose the wrong guild haha," Seed jokingly to everyone.

"Seed why are you and your team here?"

"If you emit such monstrous mana as that, who would not detect it I think even the guild master would be in his way here. As your senior and one of the elites in the guild, I need to take care of my junior. Don't you think " seed patted Jayson's shoulder as he said the words " but I know how stubborn you are? Just like the guild master Benjamin, hays our guild is abnormal haha"
