Jason left Paragon Heights that evening after rejecting Charlotte’s offer to have her driver drop him off at wherever he was heading to. Jason could feel himself choking as he tried to claw his way back to consciousness. He struggled for a while before he finally shot up with a gasp. His hand flew to his throat again panic before he looked around and his breathing changed in relief. His dilated pupils gradually changed to the regular soulful black.
