Welcome to Comeback Home

Ernest returned home delivered by Hellen. On his return, Ernest's father was so happy that he even to stretched out his arm to Ernest's body when he had just gotten off the taxi that drive them.

"My son! At last, you came home, too, I was worried about you all night," Lewis said trying to pretend to be nice to Ernest in front of Hellen.

Ernest immediately dismissed the hand. "Don't pretend to be nice to me, Hellen already knows everything," Ernest said immediately making Lewis change his reaction.

Ernest immediately left Lewis to go to his home. He wanted to rest because his head was very sick and dizzy after being exposed to direct sunlight.

However, Lewis was not angry at all. He realized it was all his fault. He immediately responded to Hellen's arrival, which was awkward in the circumstances that occurred before him.

"Oh, Hellen. Would you like to stop by for a while? I've made a lot of food for you guys," he greeted kindly.

"Oh? Maybe I'll stop by for a while waiting for my driver to come," said Hellen.

"It's my pleasure, Hellen. Come on in! You must be hungry too, right?" said Lewis, Hellen was just a nod and smile.

They went into the house and headed to the dining room. Lewis went into Ernest's room to invite his son to eat together.

"Hellen, you can sit here for a while, huh? I want to call out Ernest first," he said.

Hellen nodded. Lewis headed straight to Ernest's room. In the meantime, the boy was trying to close his eyes for a moment. However, Lewis came knocking on Ernest's door room.

Knock! Knock!

"Ernest, let's eat first, okay? You haven't slept yet, right? I've made a lot of good food for you. Come to the dinner table, Hellen is also waiting for you there," Lewis said.

" All right, I'll catch up to you!' said Ernest, who then woke up from his sleep despite his giddy head.

Lewis smiled at Ernest's answer. He thought his son would be angry with him again. Lewis soon returned to the dining table accompanying Hellen alone there.

Ernest walked as he held onto the wall. His head hurts a lot. He wanted to get some rest and get well, but he was also hungry. Hearing his father cook his favorite food excited Ernest and soon forgot for a moment the trouble that happened between them last night.

Seeing Ernest coming, Hellen immediately took Ernest to his seat. He sat opposite Hellen and side by side with Lewis. And after that, they had a meal together there.

"Eat with a lot, you guys work a lot. You have to have a lot of energy to work all the time. You were very excited at your young age, I was happy to see your spirit," Lewis said.

A few minutes later, they finished eating. Hellen's driver has come to pick him up. Hellen said goodbye. And now, it's just that Ernest and his father are both at the dinner table exchanging their eyes.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done this to you. I always lose control if I'm drunk and emotional. And you're always the victim, I'm very sorry for that," Lewis regretted to Ernest.

"I've forgiven you. I understand the conditions you go through every day. But, can I ask you something?" Ernest asked, making Lewis curious.

"Tell me, " Lewis replied.

"Huft ... be honest with me now, are you gambling again now? Why are you doing it?" Ernest asked, making Lewis clumsy.

"Eum... I did it again, Ernest. I'm sorry, I was wrong," Lewis said regretfully.

"Don't you get tired? It's just wasting your money. Winning rarely, losing that there are losses to you. From now on, you have to stop gambling. Our economy is getting worse, Dad. Please understand me a little," Ernest asked.

Lewis looks just like a kid now. He bowed languidly to admit his mistake.

"I'm just a useless father. I always make you sick, hurt you, make you tired. I'm sorry, Er. I'll stop from now on. I'll do everything," Lewis promised.

"Daddy's not wrong, I understand you. Now, you rest. Don't be too tired, your body is not young anymore. I also have permission to rest, yes! Hopefully tomorrow I can get better and work again. You always remember that promise, okay?" said Ernest.

Lewis nodded. Ernest then walked to his room. His body felt very weak and his head was also very dizzy. He was about to rest for a while, hoping that tomorrow he would recover and work again. Because, if wasn't he who else would have worked to make ends meet? His father was just an unemployed man who was busy spending money. Ernest hopes his father has completely stopped gambling again. He was so tired of warning his father about it.

As for Lewis, he felt very guilty about seeing Ernest until was hurt again. He must have been very tired at his young age. Sometimes, Lewis doesn't understand why he does that all the time to Ernest.

While Lewis was washing the dishes of their food, there was a phone call from someone who made Lewis stop his work for a while.

Lewis was hobbling around on his home phone. And without hesitation, he immediately picked up the call.

"Hello, Mr. Lewis! " said someone behind the phone.

"Who are you? " asked Lewis.

"I know you're having a money crisis. Do you want to play something with me?" he asked.

"Who are you? I don't have much time for people who don't matter," Lewis said harshly.

"Hahaha, you're so funny, Mr. Lewis. Aren't you being pursued by a lot of debt? You never even had a penny, how can you pay that money?" he asked in a derisive tone.

"Who are you? Tell me who you are! How dare you interfere in my business!" Lewis asked emotionally.

"I can help you, as long as you want to play with me," he said.
