The more days, the more quiet the cafe is. Ernest would love to complain if he really can't go on like this. Even though his salary will be paid as well, he will not get a bonus if the turnover does not increase, the existing one will fall dramatically.

Ernest massaged his head hard. What should he do now? Even borrowing money from friends is very detrimental. Besides he'll be hated, he can't pay his loan, either. All right, he owes everywhere. How could he pay?

Hellen, who saw Ernest alone, approached him and asked him. He seemed to be under constant stress. Hellen was worried that Ernest was depressed because of his father's misbehavior.

"Ernest, what are you thinking?" asked Hellen approaching Ernest.

"Ah? Nothing, Hellen. I'm just waiting for a customer. It's just that our customers don't drink coffee here. Do we need a new menu to make the cafe crowded again?" Ernest asked his opinion.

"It could be, but we need to talk to the manager first. The reason is, we can't just do it without his permission," Hellen replied.

"You're right, ah managers don't need money? They don't even care if we get a buyer or not every day," complained Ernest.

"Be patient. Keep praying that there are many customers after this," said Hellen to Ernest.

"Let's pray!" Ernest whispered then they put their arms on their chest and prayed earnestly for a customer to come.

After praying, Hellen was allowed to go to the bathroom for a while. Therefore, Ernest was alone at the table with the cashier while waiting for a customer. Today, it's probably only five visitors. Grateful that there are still a few, even though usually the cafe is always full and even customers often complain about not getting a seat.

Now, it's all changed. He doesn't know if the customers are getting tired of buying that menu. Or maybe it's not just their rejoicing right now.

Suddenly, at such a time, there came a customer man who seemed to be an important person. Seen in his suit wearing a shirt and a black suit with sunglasses. Ernest also eagerly greeted the customer.

"Welcome to D'Angelo cafe, please take a look at the menus, sir!" said Ernest while carrying the notes and menu books he gave to the man's desk.

"Umm, I'll have iced americano and this pasta, yes!" the man asked while pointing to the menu he wanted to order.

"Yes sir, please wait a moment! I'll get it ready soon," Ernest replied, in response to the nod.

Hellen was back when Ernest came back. With his happy face, Ernest told Hellen if he had one more customer.

"Hellen, we've got one customer! He ordered this!" Ernest pointed so happily.

"Gee, let's prepare it immediately so that he doesn't have to wait long! I'll make pasta, you just prepare the iced americano, okay!" said Hellen excitedly.

They also excited him. Without Ernest and Hellen being aware, the man watched them from a distance and smiled cynically.

Soon the order was ready. Ernest immediately prepared it for the man's table with his friendly face and showed happiness.

"Hello sir, here's the order!" said Ernest while keeping a plate containing the pasta and iced Americano.

"Thank you," he replied.

"Well, sir, is there anything else necessary?" asked Ernest eagerly.

"Nothing, but…," suddenly his words hung that made Ernest frown confused.

"But, what is it, sir?" Ernest asked curiously.

" May I ask you something? " asked the man who confused Ernest.

"Go ahead, sir!" Ernest replied and smiled back.

"You're in an economic crisis, right? How long have you been working here?" asked the man instantly making Ernest being a shock

"How do you know? I'm sorry, isn't it too personal if you ask someone you don't know at all, sir?" asked Ernest anxiously.

The man smiled smirk, he looked at Ernest with his sunglasses. Even Ernest didn't see his face except for his lips and nose. He became concerned that this man was a bad man related to his father. Aish.

Is this a new problem again?

"I know you need money and extra work. Here, call if you're sure. They'll give you money and the job is also easy. Oh yes, don't tell anyone this. Enough you and me," he said suddenly giving a business card with a strange number there.

It says Jeremy's name there. However, his phone number was very strange. He wondered if a number like this was registered in his country. Ernest was about to ask again but the man signaled Ernest to shut up and leave immediately.

Ernest nodded and read the business card. How could that man know if he was in crisis and needed a job? Is he psychic?

But... If it's true that he can help her, why not? What's wrong with him trying to call him when he gets home?

Hellen saw Ernest seem to be hiding something in his pocket. Hellen asked Ernest in a hurry, which was made strange by Ernest's clumsy behavior.

"Ernest, what did you get from him? You seem to be hiding something, is he giving you tips?" asked Hellen.

"Ah.. yes these are tips. Don't be jealous, yes! Hehehe," Ernest laughed awkwardly.

"Haha, no-no. Keep it well and buy good food later, okay?" said Hellen in response to Ernest's nod.

Suddenly Ernest turned quiet and seemed to think of something. Hellen seemed suspicious that the man had said something to Ernest. Does that guy have anything to do with his fucking dad?

Huft... The old man is endlessly making mistakes. Hellen's weird why Ernest kept hanging out with his evil, shitty father. Under the pretext of not being with him, his father will die. Tch, if it's Hellen's father. Hellen will let him starve to death. His father was a terrible loss. Being given a liver, asking for a heart in the end.

Ernest was patient. He even faced such a severe test of life. It's not unusual for Hellen to admire Ernest for a long time, but it seems that Ernest only thinks of him as a friend. But Why did Hellen's hunch say something bad would happen to Ernest?

"No, I can't think of him like that. Ernest must be okay. Maybe he's just tired," Hellen's inner self tried to calm him down.
