Floyd rushed to the hotel where Roxane and Dwayne were right now. He was full of rage because of what he had just seen. He can’t let the mother of his son be married to another man! He knew that he was not as rich as Dwayne. But Roxane promised to be with him. They might not be married, but they are basically husband and wife. They have a son and live in the same house. He can’t let this happen. 

Floyd reached the hotel. He almost gasped when he saw the luxury hotel in front of him. He couldn’t even see the top of the building because it was too tall. He felt small when he realized that he could never bring Roxane here, no matter how hard he worked. Floyd tightened his grip and glared at the hotel entrance. Still, he can’t let Roxane cheat on him. 

He walked to the side of the hotel. The wall was made of hard glass. That’s why he can see what is inside. He tried to look around until he saw a woman and a man sitting at a round table. There were a few waiters at their side serving them. Floyd felt a thousand knives strike his chest. His breathing became heavy as he saw the love of his life smiling dearly at another man. 

Roxane is holding a glass of wine in her right hand and her left hand is holding Dwayne's hands. They look so happy as if there is no other person in the place. 

Dwayne kissed the back of Roxane’s hand. “Thank you for saying yes,” Dwayne said. 

Roxane sips the glass and puts it on the table. “Would you accept it if I said no?” she teased him. 

Dwayne laughs and reaches Roxane. He kissed her lips passionately. “And why would you say no?” 

“Oh, I love you, Dwayne!” Roxane said and kissed him again. 

Floyd tightens the grips of his hands. Tears flowed again from his eyes as he saw his lover kissing another man. 

How can you do this to me, Roxane? I did everything for you! I love you so much even if it’s becoming hard! 

They were just talking about their future last night. Roxane asks him to finally stop working now and start a business for them. Because he had done a lot for her and she wanted him to rest for now. Floyd didn’t say yes to Roxane. But he was considering it, seeing how successful Roxane’s work was now. Plus, it was not wrong for him to finally focus on their child. 

Floyd wiped his tears and walked angrily to the entrance of the hotel. But before he could enter, two guards stopped him. 

“Where are you going, sir?” one asked Floyd. He looks at him, particularly at his body. 

“I need to go inside! Let me in!” Floyd shouted. 

“Whoa! Calm down, sir. You can’t go in,” the next guard said. “The place is rented by Mister Jacinto. So no one can enter the restaurant. Plus–” He looks at Floyd from head to toe then looks at his face again. “--We doubt you can afford to rent a night at the hotel.” 

Floyd frowns and looks at the guards in disappointment. He is wearing a red polo with the logo of the network he is working for. His pants, which are now discolored because of their age, are noticeable. Because of working hard for his family, for Roxane, he couldn’t afford to buy things for himself. 

“No! I need to go inside. My wife is there!” he protested. Floyd tries to enter again but the two men hold his arms to stop him. 

“Sorry, sir. You can’t go inside. We can’t let you!” 

Roxane accidentally looks at the entrance and notices the commotion there. She frowns. 

“What is going on there?” Roxane asked. 

Dwayne looked at the entrance too and saw a man talking with the guards. “It’s probably some commoner. Let’s eat.” 

Roxane nodded and looked at her plate again. She doesn’t know why she has a different feeling about it. 

“Let me in!” Floyd shouted. He already felt frustrated as the men were stopping him. He wanted to talk to Roxane. He needs to stop whatever they are planning to do now! 

“We can’t let you in!” 

Floyd punches one of the guards. When he falls down, Floyd then tries to enter the hotel. But the other guard manages to catch him and punches his face too. He fell down on the pavement but managed to stand up again. 

“Oh, my gosh! They are fighting, Dwayne!” Roxane said when she saw the fight outside. 

“I’m sorry, Ma’am. We will look at it,” a waiter said. 

But Roxane couldn’t stop noticing the event. That’s why she stands up and walks there. 

“Let me in!” Floyd shouted and fought the guards. A few guards came to him and tried to stop him but he refused to listen. He needed to talk with Roxane. He needs to stop her! A hard punch struck his face and he fell down again. But Floyd saw from the inside a woman near them. He saw Roxane nearing them but she stopped when they had eye contact. He saw that Roxane was surprised when she saw him. Her eyes widened as if she saw a ghost. But Roxane instantly smiles and turns away. 

Floyd's rage rose. He manages to stand up and fight the guards. Floyd did not mind the punches he was receiving from them. What he wants is to get near Roxane and ask her to explain. Though it hurt and the realization started to punch him like the punches he was receiving. He still wanted to talk with Roxane. 

“Let me in! Roxane!” Floyd shouted as he tried to enter the hotel. But someone manages to sit on his back and pin him down. Floyd grunts as he feels the weight on his back. “Let me go!” 

“What is going on here?! Release him!”
