Evelyn pouted, her silver hair dampened from the splashed water. She wiped her face with her sleeve, her expression a mix of annoyance and amusement.

"You're so mean, Axel. I was just trying to have some fun," she complained, sticking out her tongue mischievously.

"I've had enough of your 'fun'," Axel replied, a hint of frustration in his voice. "We have important matters to attend to, and your antics are becoming a distraction."

Evelyn crossed her arms and huffed. "Fine, be that way. But remember, Axel, I'm always here to lighten the mood. Life can't be all serious business, you know."

Axel sighed, realizing that he couldn't entirely dismiss Evelyn's presence. As exasperating as she could be, her lightheartedness often provided a much-needed respite from the weight of their journey.
