Chapter 07: The Rotten Fruit

CHAPTER 07: THE ROTTEN FRUIT

Morning came and he requested an office inside the mansion, his father allowed him and he said he should learn the things he needs to learn in running their business. Aside from the hotels, his father owned a construction company and even multiple real estate buildings, a food business, and investments.

The men immediately carried the table, cabinets, and even the types of equipment he needs inside the vacant room of the mansion, his father’s interior designer made it manly yet pleasing to the eyes, combined with white and black accents inside the office, with a touch of gray.

He smiled when he saw the office, after a week of making sure everything is based on his liking, he can finally use it.

“Son,” His father called his attention, he raised his head and saw his father roaming around his office. “Good to see that you liked the room,” His father added. He nod his head and leaned on his swivel chair.

“Thanks for the help,” He said, his father just nods his head. “Now, what are you planning to do?” His father asked. He leaned his elbows on the table. “Alonso’s shares are being bought right? I can ask Mr. Hayes to buy the shares under your name,” He said, his father grinned.

“Oh, why! I liked that idea son, I will have it arranged right now, also– your ex-wife is trying to win the case against your mother’s last will, she thought she has the right,” His father said, then called his assistant, minutes later his assistant arrived and gave his father a folder.

“What’s that?” Tyron asked. “Your wedding was never registered but then, your fake in-laws were trying to register it so they could get the money,” His father said and hand him the folder. Now, what an actual fuck are they trying to pull. He scoff and opened the folder.

“They really have the guts to huh? I should make them beg for this,” He said and grinned.

“How is the investigation going on? Still nothing?” He asked his father. “The police said that it was a clear motive and the murderer is good, he did it clean,” His father said, he massage the bridge of his nose trying to calm down, and his teeth are gritting in anger.

His phone rings and he immediately picked it up when he saw it was Kevin. “Hello, Boss! We have found the suspect!” Kevin reported, he stands up from his chair and walk towards the door. “Bring him to me! Immediately!” He commanded. His father followed him, based on the footsteps behind him.

“Fuck! I’m gonna kill him!” He said and walk towards the basement. “Did they find the suspect?” His father asked him when the door opened. He just nodded his head heavily breathes.

“Kevin said they found him,” He said. His father stood beside him, with his hands in his pocket.

“Order the men to escort them,” His father said to his assistant which he immediately obliged.

After minutes of waiting, Kevin arrived and his father’s men were behind him, holding a blindfolded man.

They tied them up and Tyron took off his blindfold after his father’s men tied him to the pole.

“Lopez, what a lovely surprise!” The man said. “There’s two of you here,” He added. Tyron eyed the man carefully, he looks familiar to him but he can’t remember when he met him.

“What’s your name?” Tyron’s father asked the man in the pole.

“Ask your son, he knows who I am,” He said and looks at Tyron. Tyron eyed him, trying to remember where he meet him. “You can’t remember? Well, let me help you remember who I am,” The man said.

“Sixth of July, Grand Hotel and Resort, maintenance department,” The guy said, he now remembered him, he is the guy who begged the management to loan him money for his sick daughter.

“Jerry?” Tyron whispered, the man grinned and laugh. “You remembered me! Wow!” The man exclaimed and shakes his head. “See? He remembers me!” He added, one of his father’s men punched the man in the stomach, making him cough but it didn’t stop him.

“You killed my daughter! You let them take away their employee’s rights! You’re nothing but a puppet! A loser!” The man shouted. “Still, you have no right to kill someone to get even,” Tyron said. Jerry scoff and glared at him.

“You had the right to go against them! But what did you say, huh?” The man named Jerry was now crying, he laugh and continued. “You can’t do nothing about it and instead you fired me!” The man said, he palmed his face, and his hands are shaking.

“Son, let’s go,” His father said, the room is now quiet, but it didn’t calm him down.

“You should pay the price! You should die!” The man shouted when they left the room. Everything went so fast, he palmed his face and looks at his phone. “I’m sorry, mother,” He whispered and sat on the couch, after a while, he decided to take a shower.

He stared at the walls and cried, he needs to do everything it takes to punish them, he should learn how to be ruthless, he should give them what he deserves. He stayed there, he doesn’t mind the cold shower running above him, he needs to think.

After a while, he decided to finish his shower, he will figure it out tomorrow, after that, he sleep without letting thoughts inside his head.

Morning came, and he didn’t see his father in the dining area, he may be at his business office or somewhere else. He sat in front of the dining table when he heard an engine outside, it was noisy, and after that was a loud slamming of the car’s door followed by a humming sound entering the mansion.

“Oh well! Hello there, dear, brother. It’s finally nice meeting you in person,” The man said, he raised his head and saw a man, probably the same height as him and he is wearing a denim jacket paired with jeans and converse, with a smug smile on his lips.

It’s his brother. Morgan Anderson.
