He looked back and see Lisa

"Please stop" she cried.

He stopped.

he lowered himself to his level. Lisa's face was bruised, she had a black eye. She was in tears.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry" he said

"You're sorry for what? You saved me" she said.

Daniel couldn't tell him that if these men attacked him it was because of him.

" Don't worry! You're safe now" he said .

She hugged him and cried.

"I'm so sorry. if I hadn't pushed one of them, there wouldn't have been a fight." she repeated.

Daniel carried her, and took her home.

"I'll be fine" she said.

"Can you walk?" Daniel asked.

He helped her to the bathroom.

"Would you like some water?" he asked.

"It's okay" she said.

"I'll come back in few minutes" he said.

Daniel went to the kitchen and took a glass from the fridge.

"Here" he said.

She drank it.

He made her lie down on the bed.

"Lie here" he said.
