Ambitious! : Part 1 : Don’t Blew Hot Food

Lily put takoyaki as a side dish for the atmosphere of togetherness between herself and Kenzo, her brother. The heat seemed to be in the air. Lily sat in front of the food, her hand holding the chopsticks stretched out to take a piece of takoyaki. The hot air surrounding her made a pseudo movement as she felt another air pressure as Lily blew the hot food.

"Don't blow hot food, Lily."

"My tongue will burn if I just eat it, Elder Brother Kenzo."

"You can wait for it for a split second, can't you? It won't be a waste of your time. At least your health is maintained."

Kenzo slowly pulled Lily's hand and then directed the movement to his lips. Kenzo ate the takoyaki part. Lily snorted, "Let's just say Elder Brother Kenzo wants to eat my share and doesn't want to bother cooling it down."

Lily frowned in confusion when she saw Kenzo's hand as if to say come closer to where Kenzo is now beside a large board. The description of bacterial biologics is evident from his view, "The potential for disease from contaminated microorganisms is higher when you blow hot food."

Kenzo described the situation of microorganisms: "When the air stream is released, there is a release of carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide."

Lily put her palms together. She remembered a chemical compound reaction sub-material in her school lesson. A tone of excitement sounded side by side with happy faces, "Carbon Monoxide produces carbonic acid when it reacts with water particles!"

Kenzo smiled. He gently stroked his sister's mane lovingly. The look in his eyes implied, "Right, you study hard, huh?"

Lily nodded and then took out a sheet of paper that had neatly folded into a rectangular shape.

"I got a perfect score on yesterday's test!"

It's a shame that the two brother-sister togetherness had to be interrupted by a knock on Kenzo's door. Lily moved from her place. She hid from behind a large object that was able to hide her tiny body.

Seen one maid standing while bowing his head when Kenzo opened the door, "Young Master Kenzo, I'm picking up Young Miss Lily. Master Zidan just returned home."

Kenzo turned his attention. He heard the soft sound of Lily's footsteps. His little sister hugged and kissed him on the cheek, then waved her hand, "I will accompany Elder Brother Kenzo again."

Another maid walked up to the three, "Master Zidan allows you to have a meal together, Young Master Kenzo."

Lily's face lit up with joy, she spontaneously pulled Kenzo's hand, but Kenzo gently released her grip.

"Father will find out if we go together."

The index finger was in front of his lips. Kenzo nodded his head, giving Lily understanding. It's a little sad for Lily, who has certain limitations in her brotherly relationship. Even though they only like natural science, their parents force Lily to choose other things and make rules that can break the bonds of brother and sister.

Kenzo sighed softly. He saw Lily walking with the two maids. Next, Kenzo locked the door to his room and walked towards the dining room. He has seen all his family members with the maids standing far from where they were.

The voices of Zidan Va Obelix, Kenzo's father, and Lily interrupted the clatter of aluminum. The spoon hit the surface of the glass plate so hard that the surrounding maids lowered their heads reluctantly to lift their eyes before the tense atmosphere between father and son improved.

"i'll do it. It would be best if you fixed the rules at the center of society's conversation. You're a country leader, aren't you?"

Zidan looked at his son's face, "Lily, you must not approach him while he is doing the research."

Zidan gave another order to Lily without looking at his daughter, "You heard it, Lily?"

"Yes, Father," Lily said as she lowered her face reluctantly to look at her father. Her gaze glanced at Kenzo. She bit her lower lip, trying to contain her emotions.

I just wanted to help him.

"There's no need to ruin both of them," Zidan drank his mineral. Hearing his words, Kenzo chuckled softly. He placed his cutlery on both sides, "Isn't it a must to throw that one away?"

Kenzo paused his sentence, "You've ruined one but not completely. What if I take her? Then you'll feel like you've ruined both? My research material this time is living things, commensalism symbiosis."

The chair legs creaked loudly, Freya Zemira, the strings of the names of Lily and Kenzo's mother. Freya hugged Lily, then her sharp eyes looked at Kenzo, "You've grown enough, Kenzo."

Lily gently stroked Freya's arm wrapped around her body. She turned to look at Kenzo was leaving without finishing his meal. Kenzo just wanted to get away from the atmosphere. He returned to his room.

Kenzo crossed his arms behind the door, his hands brushing his black mane. His eyes looked at the sheet of paper approved by the entire laboratory, "They take it too seriously. How could I take her?"

The smartphone's vibration jolted his consciousness, and a message about a meeting to discuss research activities appeared on the screen. Kenzo turned off his smartphone, walked to the closet, and changed his clothes.

From behind a large window on the highest floor, Zidan hid his hands while watching Kenzo walking towards the garage. With the engine roaring, Zidan turned to look at Lily, who waved her hand as Kenzo left.

"You're making me overthink."

Zidan silently listened to his wife, "You push him too much."

Freya stopped her sentence as Zidan's big palm covered her mouth.

"Shut up! I don't want to hear those kind words from your mouth."

Freya brushed off Zidan's hand, "I'm only protecting my children!"

"But you were quiet when Kenzo was fourteen."

Freya lowered her head. The long mane was now moving slowly to cover the area of Freya's face. Zidan just looked disinterestedly at the gloomy aura surrounding Freya's body, "It was my fault."

Zidan sat on his proud chair. His right foot was now on top of his left with his hands together.

"Of course."

Elsewhere, Lily walked towards the flower garden on the right side of her residence. The park became a barrier between her family's residence and the neighboring family's residence. She recognized the girl who was the daughter of the family, Thifal Historia. The height of the flower garden was only limited to her back so that with her tiny body size, Lily could see objects behind the tall plants.

"Elder Sister Thifal!"

Hearing Lily's voice calling her name, Thifal, who was at the time in the front yard while focusing on his laptop, approached Lily.

"Hi, Lily. What are you doing?"

Lily plucked a leaf from the plant's stem, "I don't know. What about Elder Sister?"

"Completing coursework."

Lily cleared her throat as she tore a leaf into small pieces, "Do college students always have assignments, don't they?"

Thifal laughed in response, her hand gently caressing Lily's soft mane.

"Don't equate my duties with Kenzo. He has a heavier burden than me."

Lily plucked a new leaf and then pointed it at the sky, "I'm grateful. I'm not the first child."
