meeting John Warren again

" Yeah.. a job." Tyson uttered awkwardly. How else could he explain why he was here in the company in the First place?

With his reputation as the useless leech of the family, who would believe her if he said that he was here to check on the operations of the company as the new chairman?

Anybody who knew him from five years ago would snort at his derision.

Tyson was also not interested in giving out that information.

He prefered life in the shadows. The limelight was never his place, even when he served in the military for five years.

Patricia could hear how unconvincing her brother-in-law's answer was but she chose not to think over the matter.

As long as Tyson was willing to make amends and help her sister, she had no problem with him.

She never believed in Money bringing happiness and loathed her mother's extreme greed for money.

Every month, her sister Samantha would give her mother almost all her salary and be left with enough to run her for the month.

Although she earned some good money, Samantha was unable to get herself decent bad new clothes as well as Tara. Her mother would snatch all her salary and spend it on buying expensive clothes and going to parlours with other rich women.

Her mother Susan has never worked all her life. She loved spending in gambling, not caring if Samantha had enough for her and her daughter.

As a sister, she saw and understood her sister's plight.

Having graduated recently, she was now trying to secure a job and help her sister in running the house.

" You should treat Samantha and Tara well, they have suffered a lot." Patricia whispered before walking to the company.

She thought that someone needed to tell him that life hasn't been easy on Samantha ever since he Left.

Patricia was also aware that with Samantha's personality, she will never voice that out.

She would rather endure suffering in silence.

Sometimes, Patricia would think that her sister is really dumb for allowing others to push her over and over again.

She was the kind of person who would never retaliate.

Tyson watched as Patricia made her way to the company. She had said that we came here looking for a job. In that case, he would pull some strings and help her.

At this point, Tyson was aware that he needed someone he could trust with the company. He knew that with good training, Patricia could make a good general manager of the brilliance Corp.

Don't get him wrong, he wasn't planning on firing the current general manager, if the guy was willing, he would promote him and send him to the brilliance Corp main branch in Washington DC.

That was his plan. He figured out that he should start training Patricia as early as now to take up the role in the future.

Fishing out his phone, he sends a message to the general manager with instructions before walking away.

Tyson was about to get to his car and drive away when he caught a familiar figure stepping out of a car, dressed in black suit.

The man coincidentally made eye contact with Tyson, his expression hardening.

This man was none other than John Warren, the same man who was interested in marrying his wife Samantha.

Tyson was about to ignore him, afterall he had no time to waste dealing with losers.

But fate had different hypothesis plans for him.

" Hey you!" John called, taking hurried steps towards Tyson as his fists balled.

He couldn't forget how embarrassed he was when that bitch Samantha refused his proposal, Insisting on staying with her loser husband.

He was John Darren, a second generation heir to a prestigious family.

He had the looks, money, Power, name it all yet he got ruthlessly rejected by that woman.

He felt that by giving a chance to Samantha to be his bride was like doing her a huge favour.

Afterall she was no longer the most beautiful woman in the whole of Los Angeles like before. Yet she didn't seem to cherish the chance and threw it away through the window

She had still managed to maintain her good figure after giving birth and was still stunning as ever.

That's the reason he was Interested in her.

If she wasn't beautiful, he would not even give her a second glance yet she still chose to remain married to a hopeless and penniless Man.

That according to John was like a blow to his manly ego.

" What do you think you are doing here? Do you think Tom, Dick and Harry can come to this place as they please?" John asked in a mocking tone.

Although the brilliance Corp was not a big company, it was however a branch of the Carter's of DC. That alone was enough to boost its prestige.

John was purposely here to discuss a corporation with the brilliance Corp with the Warren company.

His grandfather sent him here to close that deal.

As the heir and next in position of the helmsman, he was given the responsibility to close that deal.

Actually everything had been discussed, all he needed to do was get Mr Richard sign the agreement of their corporation.

Seeing Tyson here reminded him of the embarrassment he went through in the Carter family.

Since he had connections with the deputy manager, he figured out that getting Tyson to be thrown away from the company would be a lesson to Tyson not to mess with him in the future.

Tyson did not bother answering that question. He didn't feel the need to. He didn't need anybody's permission to be anywhere in the United States.

So why was everybody today hell-bent on asking him such a silly question.

" I'm warning you, stay away from Samantha. She's soon going to be my wife. A loser like you doesn't deserve her." John warned.

Tyson scoffed at his words.

Just a moment ago, it was about stepping foot in the company so how did things turn to his wife?

Interesting.

" What if I don't?"
