After a couple of minutes, Rey deactivated the spell, rushing straight towards Jason. He still had the Lightning Gauntlet at hand, which he intending to use in delivering a wicked punch. As he got within range, Blake suddenly appeared, blocking Reynolds attack with his bare hand.

“Reynolds, that’s enough..” Blake commented.

“Jason, do you concede?” Blake angrily exclaimed.

“Yes… I do!” Jason stuttered, falling first to the roasted floor.

Seeing the state of his opponent, Reynolds slowly deactivated his Gauntlet spell, as he began to caress his crimson hair awkwardly.

“I went too far, didn’t I?” Reynolds commented with an awkward chuckle.

“Yes, you did!” Blake said, smacking his face in disappointment.

“Is he really a First year student” Yetunde thought to herself, earnestly staring at the awkward crimson youth.

As they mumbled among themselves, Clark suddenly appeared. Staring at the completely destroyed arena and battered youth, Clark shook his head in disappointment, furiously yelling “BLAKE!”.

“Why are you yelling at me?” Blake commented wryly.

“What the hell did you do?’ Clark inquired, rolling his eyes in annoyance.

“I stopped them from killing each other” Blake erupted in anger.

“I’m sorry, I went overboard” Reynolds promptly said.

“It’s alright” Clark disappointedly said.

“Good thing you didn’t kill him!” He added, walking towards Jason’s seemingly lifeless body.

He immediately carried it on his shoulders, promptly vanishing, heading towards the Medical department. Seeing this, Blake immediately deactivated the barrier he created, allowing Reynolds to exit the arena.

As he walked towards his mates, they all stared at him, gasping in awe and shock.

“Well the Arena has been destroyed by you know who!” Blake said, obviously referring to Rey.

“But we will still continue the Exercise” Blake promptly added, wearing a sadistic grin.

“Next we have… Yetunde versus Vanessa!” Blake exclaimed, shocking the involved parties.

“Vanessa, isn’t she your roommate?” Reynolds curiously inquired, staring at Yetunde.

“Yes!” Yetunde answered, walking towards the shattered arena.

“Are sure you want to do this?” Reynolds commented.

“Don’t worry Rey, I got this!” She replied with a reassuring tone.

“Alright then, be careful!” Reynolds said, watching Yetunde waltzed towards the arena.

Both girls walked to the arena without taking a glance at each other.

“Are those two roommates?”

“Are they really going to fight each other?”

“This is really messed up!”

“Who do you think will win?”

“I don’t know!” The students mumbled amongst towards themselves, solemnly staring at the two girls.

“Are you two ready?” Blake curiously inquired.

“Yes!” Both girls simultaneously replied.

“Alright then, begin!” Blake said, momentarily exiting the arena.

“Hey Yetunde!” Vanessa said, wearing an indifferent expression.

“What is it?” Yetunde inquired, glaring at her opponent.

“I just want to say, even if I respect you and look up to you as my hero, I promise you, I won’t hold back!” Vanessa stoically said.

“Please don’t hold back too!” She promptly added, taking a classic boxing stance.

“That stance shows that she’s obviously skilled in hand to hand combat which I am totally lacking in. I’d have to avoid a getting into a combat situation” Yetunde thought to herself, completely ignoring Vanessa’s request.

“Tsk…. You’re looking down on me!” Vanessa furiously exclaimed, throwing a jab.

This jab blew an immense amount of flame towards Yetunde which she promptly dodged. Immediately she dodged Vanessa’s first attack, she was met by a giant snake made out of ember flames.

“Flaming Serpent!” Vanessa exclaimed.

Instinctively, Yetunde dodged the attack by leaping backwards.

“Shit, that was too close!” Yetunde thought to herself.

“I’m not done….. Serpentine Breath!” Vanessa promptly exclaimed, activating her spell.

The fiery snake viciously opened it’s wicked mouths, releasing a massive breathe of flames, blasting Yetunde instantly. The attack wickedly collided with Yetunde, pushing few meters backwards. As the smoke cleared, it was revealed that Yetunde was unscathed by the attack. She currently had her hands crossed, signifying that she blocked the attack.

“This proves my theory.. Our Uniforms are definitely enchanted to protect us from both physical and arcane attacks. The only drawback is that, the parts of our body that are exposed, receives the full impact of the attack” Yetunde thought to herself, staring at Vanessa with intense focus.

Immediately, Vanessa created another Flaming Serpent, with each of them , simultaneously and intensely attacking Yetunde with their Serpentine Breath. Rather than counter attacking Vanessa’s attack, she immediately dodged it infuriating Vanessa.

“You’re not taking this seriously, aren’t you?” Vanessa angrily exclaimed, canceling her fiery snakes summons.

“I didn’t know she get this angry…. She seemed like a crazy girl!” Yetunde thought to herself, staring at the infuriated teenage girl in front of her.

“Tsk… I’ll show you!” Vanessa exclaimed, forming two giant fiery rings which glowed bright ember.

“Blazing Rings!” She promptly added, hauling both rings at Yetunde .

“Shit, they’re really fast!” Yetunde worriedly exclaimed.

She promptly dodged the first to g but was greeted by the second ring, straight to her gut, sending crashing into a nearby wall. Thanks to her uniform, she wasn’t damaged by the attack but she indeed felt the impact, causing her to cough up blood.

“What the hell is she doing?”

“Why isn’t she using her Affinity?”

“Maybe she doesn’t actually have an Affinity!”

“It was all a fluke!” The Students murmured, solemnly staring at the ongoing battle.

“Why isn’t she using her powers?” Rey thought to himself, wearing a worried expression.

“Why aren’t you fighting back?” Vanessa angrily inquired, staring at Yetunde who was trying to get back to her feet.

“You don’t think I’m a worthy opponent!” Vanessa asked.

Despite hearing her questions, Yetunde remained silent, glaring at her.

“Tsk…. I’m going to show you that I’m worthy to fight you!” Vanessa exclaimed, gathering an immense amount of Fire essence in her palms, creating an incredibly huge ball of fire. The ball was so big and bright, that it illuminated the room with ember, prompting Blake to reactivate the barrier.

“Conflagration!” Vanessa exclaimed launching the flame ball at Yetunde who seemed unfazed by the attack.

Immediately after it’s collision with Yetunde, it exploded releasing a huge amount of energy and flames, incinerating everything that was inside the barrier.

“Is everything alright in there?”

“I don’t think she’ll survive that!”

“Let’s watch and see!” The Students said, watching earnestly the arena.

“You better be alright!” Rey worriedly thought to himself.

“Show us Yetunde…. Show is your true power!” Blake whispered, obviously with a maniacal grin.

Immediately the debris and smoke cleared off, it revealed something shocking. They it was in the midst of the smoke and ash, an Azure colored flaming Shield. The Flames danced releasing it’s Azure glow which illuminated the entire room. The appearance of the strange flames shocked everyone excluding Blake, who was currently chuckling maniacally.

“Whoa, Azure Flames“

“So she does have an Affinity!”

“Why was she hiding it?”

“Are feeling heat from that thing” The Students said, gasping in awe as they saw Yetunde finally using her Affinity.

Unlike the usually ember Flames, Azure Flames was obviously more hotter, quicker to combust and less easier to control.

“I’m sorry Vanessa!” Yetunde said, releasing an intimidating pressure affected majority of the students.

Slowly, she absorbed a large amount of Azure Flames essence, forming a glorifying aura of flames around her body, gradually levitating into the air, shocking the entire students including Blake.

“She’s levitating without using any form of propulsion…. Only Lightning Mages are known to be able to fly but she’s doing like it’s normal!” Blake shockingly said, staring at Yetunde.

“Not to mention that Aura she’s releasing…. It feels like that of a god…. What the hell are you?” Blake promptly added.

“Whoa!”

“That’s incredible!”

“She looks a glowing star!”

“Azure Flames rocks” The Spectating students marveled they fixated their gaze on the Azure girl in the mid air.

“Creating an Aura with either Lightning or Fire is extremely difficult. You have to be cautious not overcoat yourself with elemental essence, if not, you can get seriously hurt” Reynolds thought to himself, stroking his chin.

“Also, The concentration needed to regulate the Aura and the amount of elemental essence is really demanding, making it nigh impossible for a First Year student to master. That’s not the case for her, it looks she has mastered the concept, making it super easy” Rey added, earnestly staring at the levitating teenage girl.

“You really are something else!” He promptly commented, wearing a proud smirk.

In the Air, Yetunde currently resembled a glorious goddess, looking down on her worshippers. The Intimidating pressure that oozed out of her body, captured the attention of every living thing present in the room, causing them to earnestly stare at her.

“Whoa!” Vanessa blurted.

“I wasn’t ignoring you…. Infact, I acknowledge you as an extremely strong opponent” Yetunde exclaimed, glaring at Vanessa.

“That’s why I was preparing this!” She promptly added, waving her right hand in the air, causing five large Magic circles to appear in the air, behind Yetunde.

The Magic circles had several exotic shapes and runic symbols which were clearly written in bold. Just like Yetunde’s flames, the circles had bright Azure color, releasing a similar colored glow. This display of power gravely shocked all the Spectating Students including Reynolds.

“What the hell are those things?”
