Passersby walked to and fro in front of the church to their various destinations; some tourists rushed up to the Terraza Catedral, not to eat or drink, but to get a good view of the setting sun.

Sitting in a secluded corner but with a great view of the cathedral and park was Carlos, with a bottle of beer on the table in front of him.

He had been here for quite a while now, emptying bottle after bottle with no signs of getting tipsy.

“You alright there, amigo?” The manager joined him at the table.

Carlos turned to him and sighed. “I’m good,” he replied, his breath wreaking of alcohol.

“Are you sure?” the manager chuckled. “You look like you just lost everything.”

"Well, I haven't, at least not yet," Carlos replied, taking a swig with a sad smile.

"Are you talking about divorce?" inquired the manager.

"If life can be used as divorce paper... then yes," Carlos said loudly.
