CHAPTER 24

Leah grit walked into the fairly dark room. It was broad daylight but the curtains in the room was drawn. From what she could see, it was some sort of study. There were lots of books on several.shelves, a desk and chairs.

“Have a seat.” She heard someone say. It was a woman. She was seated at a corner where it would be impossible to make out her face. She could tell from her silhouette that it was a middle aged woman, probably in her early fourties. She looked like a rich woman and her aura exuded power. She sat down, her hands placed on her laps.

“You know why you’re here don’t you?” The woman asked.

“Yes ma’am.” She replied.

“And what exactly is that, tell me?”

“I am going to be the face of your newly acquired company. I will only act and make decisions when you instruct me to. I’m the boss on the outside, and I answer to you.”

“Very good. You’re a smart one. There’s a deal I need you to acquire. You went to business school so you’re not entirely useless.
