CHAPTER 53

Nathan thumbed through the daily edition of the L.A. Times looking for the one particular article. He knew it was in there somewhere and was thankful when he found it on the second to last page on a gossip column of sorts. It’s a pity. He knew Emily had more talent than that regardless of her first newscast being pitiful. He chuckled. Her pictures apparently didn’t turn out, because the one she did have of him, was an old one of him leaving a hotel in New York. It was six months old. Damon will be content.

Emily sat on her couch thumbing through the photographs. She should have known better, the room was too dark and despite the cost of her camera it wasn’t made for such darkened areas.
