Freya gave Charity a call right away. She chuckled. “Ryan proposed to me last night.”

Charity was surprised but soon thought she should not be. “Well, you two have been dating for two years. Dating longer isn’t necessarily a good thing.”

“I think so too. Ryan is nice, and he’s worth treasuring. The fear from my previous relationship’s failure has also healed over the last two years, so I accepted his proposal.”

Freya smiled and said, “I told Cathy, and she was pretty envious. So, she went back and nagged at Shaun that they hadn’t had a wedding yet. Shaun agreed immediately and said they’d have it together with us. We don’t want it to be too grand because it’ll be troublesome, so we’ll just have a small wedding at a seaside hotel with parents and friends from both sides in attendance.”

“That’s great. I won’t have to attend two weddings since you two are having it together,” Charity teased.

“Do you want to have your wedding with us? You and Chester are back together anyway.”
