“I don’t need any explanation from you both, I need an explanation from you” future Eunice said, pointing at her past self. Molly and Dustin stared at each other.

“Seriously?”

“Do I look like I’m joking? What the fuck are you doing here?”

“I don’t know what the fuck you are asking me and besides you should know why I’m here or did you become forty and traded your brains for something else? What? More beauty? Look at your eyes, they are now a little bit… did you do surgery?”

“Hey! I am the fucking senior here. I am forty-three and you might just be twenty- six or whatever. So I think you should pull out some respect for me”

“I am you, you know that right?”

“What are you doing here?”

“What? Are you still asking me that?”

“Don’t tell me the kids are still there”

“The kids are still there”

“Mom” Molly and Dustin called.

“You failed?”

“What? I just came” past Eunice replied.

“Mum” the twins called together again.

“What about the Brook lady?”

“What about her? she never travelled, she’s still pregnant… I guess”

“Mum” the twins called again.

“Our husband tricked us all, travelled to 2005 with the café girl and left her stuck there” future Eunice said.

“Yeah I know that”

“Our husband? mum” they repeated.

“What?” past and future Eunice replied together.

“Oh sorry, that… that was for you” past Eunice said slowly and looked at her future self.

“What? Mum mum mum, what’s with the mum’s?” future Eunice asked the twins.

“You know about this?” Molly asked.

“What? She’s me you know that right?

“What? Yeah”

“And we still have the same memory, you know that too right?”

“It’s just…

“Unbelievable? Yeah” past Eunice interrupted Molly.

“So… how are you guys gonna stop this?”  Dustin asked.

“Gimme one can” past Eunice said, stretching her palm out to Dustin. He dropped a can of sprite on her palm.

“What?” she looked at her future self who was staring at her.

“You’re gonna go to 2005 first, grab Matilda,  go back to 2003 and bring our kids back to this beautiful new future”

“2022 is the future?” how on earth is all these things you said gonna happen? How is possible?” she asked and opened the drink.

“You will go to 2005 with the clock, get Matilda and go to same place you got the clock twenty minutes ago before coming here and go back to 2003… to.. together with Matilda she said with a nervous smile.

‘Hey!’

‘What?’

‘That’s confusing’

‘I said… you will go back…

‘Forget it, I get what you said’

‘Thank God you are no dumb’

“And how are we gonna come back to this 2022?” she poured some drink into her mouth and peeped at her future self.

“We? Only the kids are coming back same October they left”

“Oh right” she took more sips.

“Yeah’

“So… how are they gonna come back?”

“They will use our husband’s time travel machine, set the affirmative date and voila, they will be back. We saw him use the machine and kidnap Matilda”

“That easy?”

“Do you both mums still know that we are here?” Molly interrupted.

“Don’t you ever anything about this to your dad, you hear me?”

“Where’s the clock mum?” Dustin asked the future mum.

“You hear me?”

‘Yeah mum, where’s the clock?’

‘Follow me’ future Eunice said looked at the past Eunice and headed out of the kitchen.

          They all followed her to the room

‘Wait here, I will be out soon’

‘Say We’ the past Eunice interrupted and stopped Molly and Dustin.

‘Stay’ she looked at them and jammed the door. Future Eunice opened her closet and carried out a black brown box and dropped it on the bed. She blew off the dust on the box and lifted the locks.

‘Oh my God, you kept it?’

‘Yeah we did’ she replied, bringing out the ancient clock from the box.

‘For how long now?’

‘Till our kids stole it from me’

‘From you? They said they stole it from their father, I mean… our husband’

‘This bedroom belongs to us and our husband’

‘Oh yeah, so… they thought it was their father who hid it here?’

‘Are you ready?’’

‘What date did you set?’

‘October 8 2005. Matilda might still be with her parents. Countdown remains five seconds’ future Eunice said.

‘You should go’ past Eunice said, leaning back.

‘What?’ future glanced at her, shocked.

‘Come on, I wanna see this beautiful future, you know… experience some… few things’

‘Are you insane? You are me, we are no difference’

‘Then go. Go, since we are one and are no difference’

‘This is insane’

‘Trust me’

‘What are you…’ the clock made an echo sound and a light blue light glowed. The future Eunice disappeared with the light.

       ‘Everything okay in there?’ Molly asked after they heard the echo sound. The door opened and their past mum stood in front of them.

‘Hi kids’ she smiled to them.
