The Attack on Monica Flannagan

Monica woke up feeling someone's fingers stroking her forehead and suddenly remembered what had happened. She tried moving away from the hand and realized that she couldn't do so; it felt like she was frozen solid. She thought it would be best if she could move so she slowly moved back and opened her eyes only to see the same dark black cloud.

The dark mist covered her body entirely except for her mouth which remained open as if she wanted to speak. After some time the cloud vanished along with everything else around her. The sun rose high into the sky while a cold breeze blew through the forest making leaves dance around each other, giving off a loud rustling noise.

"I guess I am going to have to walk out of here," muttered Monica before standing up and trying to find a way out of the clearing. Unfortunately, there were no doors, windows, or any other openings besides the small hole leading inside the house that was hidden by magic and once again she found herself walking in circles.
